Umm....she's 21 years older than him. Anyone else slightly disturbed? I get that it comes with the territory when you're an actor but....that's a bit extreme....
If they were a real-life couple it would be a little bit unusual but still completely ok, and in the film they can live forever so this 21 years don't make a big difference and on the other hand, the director has probably chosen the two best actors to play the parts and he age wasn't the most important ting during the casting process. Anyway I thing they look great together in the film.
Ever heard of a guy named Hugh Hefner? The guy is 87, and dates/marries girls that could be considered his granddaughters. Now that's an extreme, compared to these two. Also, there are movies where the age difference is much worse. Really, this is nothing compared to all the crap Hollywood has pulled out of their butt.
Actually I think the age difference between the actors just emphasizes the feeling of timelessness their characters as immortal vampires display. I think it was not only okay considering the fact that Swinton and Hiddleston are among the best actors out there, but also a very wise decision for the plot.

I had no idea there were theories that Shakespeare didn't write Shakespeare. Had to google that! That was the only thing I got out of a otherwise terrible interview.
