I'm neither american or pro-american but considering the circumstances and the outcome, the american occupation of japan was not only necessary, it had a rather positive impact on it.
There is no doubt that this is very beautiful but there are other cultural dances in Asian countries that are quite remarkable. Thailand's traditional dance is quite graceful and beautiful and the traditional garb is remarkable as well, and China has beautiful tradtional dances. I do not think one is better than the other I dio favor Thailand because I live there but they are all beautiful in their own right

投稿主さんが、「京五条 晴鴨樓」「富美倖」「叶ゆり」とテロップ入れてくれているのに、安易な質問と回答がありますね。
祇園東にも「富」(富菊)や「叶」(叶家)を冠した芸筋の名前の芸舞妓さんがいますが、地方のお姐さんからも宮川町のようです。(振付からも若柳流)
2002年とのことですから、SNSも発展途上だったでしょうに、主さんに感謝です。
舞妓さんお二人もとっくに引退されていますね。
晴鴨樓の紋で、同じ「千鳥」を紋章にしている先斗町だと勘違いの方もいるようですが、単に被っただけで、先斗町でなく宮川町の南に下がった所の料理旅館さんですね。
お客の中に花街の馴染みの方がいて、融通の利く街や屋形から呼ぶこともありますが、
お店側にお任せしてお花をつけているのでしょう。
