Presenter: Barbara Day leads Penfield’s Biometrics recruiting practice, and she personally specializes in biostatistics recruitment across the pharmaceutical, biotech and CRO industries. Barbara brings 25 years of experience in the biostatistics space with a deep understanding of the drug development industry as a whole. Her in-depth knowledge of the industry, as well as trends that affect the candidate landscape, position her to deliver sound career guidance to candidates as they build their careers. Prior to joining Penfield as a Principal in 2015, Barbara worked at Smith Hanley Associates and its parent company inVentiv Health.
Abstract: During this presentation we will discuss the steps needed to conduct a successful job search from building a resume, finding the right jobs to apply for and preparing for and conducting a flawless interview. We will then discuss how to maneuver through the offer and negotiation process.
