Today that dude is married with a kid n his wife studied nursing but now it's a forgotten story. All she does is to look pretty, take care of the kids n household chores. While all of this is great but it doesn't require a degree. She wasted a seat n also a chance of someone else to become a deserving nurse.
Hi you are absolutely right. What people think or say is their problem not yours. Society plays a very strong role in abuse & influencing us. Especially at a young age. As I had shared with you my story partly when I was recovering from therapy the first thing I did was to stay away from socialising. And taking time off for myself & not seeking validation. Earlier I always felt I owed an explanation though that's so cruel to oneself. Later after a long time I got back to minimal socialising on my own terms. Any lack in life makes one very social. I have noticed in a lot of people including myself. You want to recover list time participate enjoy & one sees social interaction as part of that. That's not always true. Anything done as rebound or in overdose backfires. I never knew about boundary setting at all. I discovered it very late. You are doing perfectly fine. More independence & power T to you❤
