High five for the effort! I was in the stage right balcony myself for this one. We got shuffled out the back by the busses during the fire alarm, and I was lucky enough to get Mike and Trey to come off the bus and hang out with us for a minute while the house sorted it out. They signed my set list sketch book. That moment blew my 20yo mind. I had a Prozac promotional pen I picked up from my Dad's office that they signed with, and I gave it to Trey to use to sign a few other fan's ticket stubs. He took it from me, looked at it, then looked at me and laughed (in Butthead voice) " Huh-huh...prozac."
I was there I lived 1/2 block from Music Hall saw all the fans thought it was the Greatful Dead, asked some people and found out they were highly recommended but sold out, hung around trying to buy tickets and smoking weed with a group that was looking for tickets. Concert started and my new friends left one by one, I was just about to do the same when the fire alarm went off. Everybody came out, Everybody plus one went back in. Sat in the aisle of the first balcony right above the stage! Great seat great show great experience. One of my all time favorites ❤💛💕♥
This was one my first 5 shows. Probably my 3rd. What you can't see is that when the fire alarm cleared the room - it completely cleared the room for 30-40 minutes. I think there were possibly two times we had to leave, but it was only thirty years ago, so... There were alot of miracle children in the lot outside who all came in after the fire alarm incident. Back then the concert scene was just starting to change over to non-GA, you had to have ticket, so at the start of the show, it was a bit of a hassle getting in. You had to have a hard ticket for so and so seat. But after the fire alarm they just let everyone outside back in. They didn't really have a plan in place to recheck the stubs. You basically just had to wave hi and you were in. So after this alarm, the venue capacity of 1300 souls, suddenly became double if not triple (and I'm not kidding). The floor just filled. It was a beautiful sight to see. The post-alarm energy was out of this world - you can hear it in this recording. The room sounds different. I hope they can do it again sometime :)
I was at this show cool. I taped it in non taper seats so I was holding my mics the whole time and collapsed in the hotel room after the show but I got a good tape.... team schoeps.... I taped the Cleveland show with the Schoeps cmc6-mk4v >dat also.
1st show, was in the upper balcony before the fire alarm went off, after we were allowed back in, returned to my seat.......wow I was naive, the folks who made the trek to Cbus received a smoker the next evening. Thanks for sharing!
My first show too! Grew up in Cincy and never thought I would experience anything like this show in that venue. It was pretty magical. I thought the fire alarm was part of the show. Pretty far out of my mind. Was in the upper balcony too. In the middle.
Just heard the Down with Disease and that shit was hot! Great to see that there's footage from this period. If memory serves, most times I listen to a Phish show from summer '94, it's so intense and on point. They are just as tasty now as ever, but they don't even come close to being able to shred like this, especially Trey. I just saw them at the Hollywood Bowl Sunday and Fishman was raging
Harry Hood! Yes! 1 hr and 52 min the transition in is stellar. Moments of deep base, whimsical notes and them blended. This was my first show. So amazing to watch it now for the first time since. What an experience at 17 😊🎉

I'm the one shot this performance. It was my first show. I was front row balcony, and the floor was shaking all throughout. Enjoy!
How'd you sneak the camera in and get away with it? Music Hall really is a beautiful venue. I'm curious if they allowed smoking? I'm guessing not
@@timharper4246 I can't remember how I snuck in the camera. Probably put it in my crotch as that is what I used to do in the mid 90's
Thank you for taping, I had this video for years. Got it from a good friend. Kept my promise and never leaked it.
Thank you! Holy smokes!

Trey has the most contagious and infectious juice and jazz for life in the history of our species.

WOW!
Trey in that Jerry giddy up
The DWD is fire
Didn’t Fish’s mom paint that backdrop? As I recall, while on acid it ended up spelling out the band’s name… 😂
Honestly, Mound > Sample is so sick
Trey looks like he is wrestling with the guitar during the end Solo in Sample.
