Yes, style and keywords sell. Lately I have been picking up a few dresses that I normally wouldn't because of style trending factors and selling them fast and at a higher price than those brands normally sell for which has helped my store grow.
Where do you suggest putting the keywords both on Ebay and Posh? When there isn't enough room in the title, where is the next best bang for your buck? When people search for a certain word, does Ebay show results based on words in your title, or do they pull from your description also? Thank you!
Just had a call with an ebay advisor this week and asked this question! So, you want to put your best keywords (the ones that will impact search the most) in your title. If ebay has a drop down for that keyword, it does pull from search so you can put it there as well but should not type your own. So for instance, if a dress is short sleeve, I'd save those words for a drop down and use other keywords in your title. Description does not pull in search unless the buyer clicks a checkbox to include the description (most won't). So titles and dropdowns on ebay are your best friend and descriptions are secondary. For Posh, I believe the description does pull in search. But you still want to put your best keywords in the title because it will be prioritized.
I have an idea… I think I focus on picking up certain brands way too much and not the style of an item. And I always wish I could add more keywords to the title. I am going to revise some stale listings and take the brand name out of the title and add keywords there instead. Obviously- I will keep the brand name in the required item specifics…that way it still comes up in search. I always assume people are searching for specific brands, but they are likely searching styles (the brand might be important too) but probably less important.
I also use a light grey background, good lighting. If your black clothes are looking grey, you may have too low of a shutter speed, too much light or blown out.
We don't seem to have this issue anymore since doing away with our lighting system. I'd first try to turn off your extra lights and see if that helps. If not, we click around the picture to change focus point and sometimes that helps.

For brands that people aren't really searching, it's possible that this could result in more sales. Lmk!
How do you taking pics if black clothes so the won’t look greyish?
I personally use a light gray background, that helps for me.
