As a lady who's husband gets overwhelmed in any kind of decorating store, hearing Stuart getting interested in pillows and tablecloths is genuinely adorable
Angela! It’s like every time I watch one of your videos I get simultaneously introduced to the coolest music playing in the background. That song playing at the end was so good, adding it to my playlist right now lol. Have you ever considered making a video going through your favorite artists and albums, maybe like a weekly or monthly thing where you talk about what you’ve been listening to lately? I’d definitely watch! Forever indebted to you for introducing me to the Frozen Autumn 🙏 Loved the vid!
i lovee going to these shops but i hate when they obviously follow me around, my sister works in retail and she says they profile people who are alternative. Definitely ruins a shop run but never stops me from getting spooky items
Do you live in the south or an exceptionally rural area? I feel like they expect the alt people to shop during Halloween. I always run into others and we give each other the nod and are left alone.

At least she didn't say margarine? Chemical warfare and not real food. Aaaand now I'm left with trying to justify what real food has to do with being able to slip out of a cage.... I'll see myself out.
I was at the dollar store today and they had a really cute Halloween book end with a raven and roses. If it was a set instead of just one I would have bought them.
If I just could have the chance of shopping in places like this, I'd be laughing, jumping and crying for joy... there's nothing like that in my country

When I visited an athome, I saw an amazing collection of items that if I had the MONEY and HOME, I would have a shopping cart full of items. I have more money now, but I do not have a stable place (I am living in a temporary housing I will have to leave by mid-January and will absolutely have to leave America). Which means that I have got a few items, but I know that I will have to leave off many other potential items for this year. Poverty sucks.
I work at Homegoods and it's been really exciting to see all the Halloween stuff come in over the summer. I've set some items aside for myself right out of the boxes! My coworkers began setting things aside for me to look at as well when they learned I'm a halloween-obsessed goth!
The designs and quality of the houseware stuff has gone up and that makes it hard to make choices. I'm the first in my family to start the Halloween/Fall season shopping but this year my youngest daughter asked when we are going shopping. We spent the day (and too much money 😁) going around to TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Marshalls, Michaels and Spirt Halloween. Too early for Target as it's still "Back to School" mode 😩. Great picks by the way! The butter dish is top tier. 👏😂🦇🎃👻
So much cool stuff! We don't get that much here in Sydney 😢 Also, a butter hack to help spread it when its cold is to run the knife under some hot water first.
You see, you would be fun to do this kind of shopping with because we have completely different tastes. For example, the first thing I saw that caught my attention were those metal skeletons with the bowls for $199. I feel like I NEED at least one, but might have to buy two for symmetry.
The silver skeletons holdiing bowls could be awesome if you had a house with a big porch. One at either end. One bowl holds a kind of Fall/Halloween style punch for the kids, with plastic cups stacked nearby and a ladle. The other at the other end of the porch holds all the Halloween candy.
Pastels, especially white and crème, and hot pink type brights seem to be everywhere this year, along with vampires and other creatures on toilets. 9:52
I always seem to go overboard and this year when they started so early...but it is the only time that you can get the really nice, well made materials. Home Goods, so evil good.
I went a little crazy this year. I got so many candleabras and candle holders. I also somehow managed to find three of the Christian Siriano Halloween mirrors I have been coveting at Home Goods and Home Sense. I'm still looking for this really cool headless horseman statue that has so far eluded me. I have to stop 😂 and save some money for my trip to Salem next month. You found so many cute things! It's always hard to resist.
generally you will find the bigger selections at these stores in areas that are more affluent. TJ MAXX Marshalls and Home Goods are the same parent company so if you can find some similar things at all these stores. but much of the spiffy dishes will be at Home Goods.
My kitchen decor is Witches so every Halloween, if I can only get one or two things (because I am a poor bitch...😂), I get something with Witches so I can tell myself it's not at all a waste of money since it will stay out all year long... Nightmare Before Christmas stuff (or Tim Burton in general) I don't even think of as Halloween decor because naturally that's for all year round, right? Lmao Oh, and my heart stopped a little when I heard the woman tell you that you really look the part because I automatically assumed she was being an ass so it was cool that she followed it up with "Nice!" (Can you tell I am also a Goth relic of the 90's... naturally assuming if a stranger says something like that, it's coming from a hateful place? Lmao) I want that Bride of Frankenstein at about 10:20 so much! 😆 bidenomics
I got invited to a pre screening of bettlejuice this Wednesday man I'm so excited! The first screening had a massive standing ovation!
Where do ya'll live because last year my son made out like a bandit even got quite a few Kong size candy bars lol and we always hit up the good parts of Long Beach here in California and avoid the ghetto tacky areas because they never have anything worth it nor are they safe area's.
@mercedesvelasquez8781 Living in the heart of Texas but on a train to Missouri at this moment. My daughter always takes the kids to the neighborhoods where everyone does it up for Halloween. Our neighborhood to scattered around. But pretty good candy.
Hopefully the weather will be good for the little ones.
Long Beach is nice. Went up there couple times when I was stationed in San Diego. I miss the West Coast.
Spooky cute 👻
Yes!
Hello there , so a long time ago now we had a discussion about eye creams. I appreciated your input. Not sure if you remember me. I never responded after your lengthy reply, but I can say it has helped me. I’ve tried just moisturizing but I see a difference. What’s your view on it now? Anyways love you!
Meow. your long sleeve shirt suits you. *hug*
Thank you! It's a dress.
Thanks for the video I appreciate it. I still haven't found anything yet that I want to buy however it's still early in the season. I am going back out looking this Saturday & maybe Sunday as well.
Early?? It’s wrapping up at Homegoods, Michaels, and Joanne’s. Halloween shopping starts in late June and ends in September, for the most part.
@@aleisterlilywhite1109 Not really in some parts of the country but in DC they start putting stuff out maybe the second week or the end of July at the earliest. Normally it's first of August from my many of years going out.
5:07 Hilarious.
I go to Michael’s or Jo-Anne’s usually. I wonder if Marshall’s has anything Halloween?
Cute mummy 🖤
I wanted it so bad!
The mummy is so cute🐦⬛☠️🖤🕸️🪦⚰️👻🥀🦇💀🎃
They shouldn't have even tried to stop you... it's un-american to stop you:-)
I've never heard of someone getting banned from Homegoods! How did that happen? Also, "I have to figure out the difference between what I like and what I can use, because I don't want my house to turn into a hoarder house..." is exactly where I'm at too lol!
