Practically started the MIDI again from scratch. I worked on this thing for about 8-9 hours (I'm slow at MIDIs, especially a heavy dynamic song such as this) making sure everything was as best as I could get it. I even learned a few new things about making soundfonts in the process as I was trying to fix my drums up. Overall, this has been really awesome to make this. I'll also start on working on my soundfont again sometime.

If you're remixing/remastering stuff from previous pokemon games, you can't just rip the song into MIDI and record playback with a different soundfont and call it a day (which is what I see a lot). You can either make a MIDI from scratch to get the correct volume dynamics right from the get-go, or edit the ripped MIDI. I prefer the former, but I use ripped MIDIs to make sure that I don't miss or screw up any notes.
