+scottie781x somebody was asleep at the wheel on this! MCA obviously was just as stupid as her pathetic manager....I totally agree it should have gone out to radio
Was originally released in 88 on a Japan single extended play track from I Saw Him Standing There album.. the states didn't even get this track until it was rereleased on a compilation album a decade later
Tiffany is a rock Goddess. She's the only female artist that I can just turn on, and instantly love. All of her songs were golden. None of the modern ladies can hold a candle to her. Miley Cyrus, Lindsey Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Brittney Spears, can't even hold a lit match to Tiffany. All those girls could get schooled by Tiffany, Debbie and others from the 80s. Long live the 80s ladies.
I came here to post the same thing. The resemblance to “Boys of Summer” is striking, but good call on “Should’ve Known Better.” A lot of ‘80s music feels that way, and the ‘90s even more so.
This song was in the 1986 movie "The Wraith" with Charlie Sheen, was not includen in the Soundtrack but was in the movie. So I guess this was technically the first Tiffany song released? The song was only released on CD at the 3" inch single for the "Radio Romance" and is very rare these days.
I have never heard this song by Tiffany before and I like what I am hearing...I am a huge fan of Tiffany...but also I am a huge fan of Deborah ( or Debbie ) Gibson.....and I must admit this song reminds me more of a song Gibson would have done.....also a major shame that it was not an album track, would have made a great single for radio!!
Secret eyes Sayin' nothin' at all You'd think our love Was breakin' the law Kisses in the darkness That nobody sees They know we're together But they don't know what I feel They can tear us apart And send you away Oh but they can't stop our heartbeats They can tell you to go And never come back Oh but they can't stop our heartbeats Words of steel They tell me not to leave I wanna be with you But I can't get free In a fit of rage I run out the door There's no tomorrow When I'm in your arms And they can tear us apart Send you away Oh but they can't stop my heartbeat They can tell you to leave And never come back Oh they can't stop, oh They can't stop the heartbeat Hold me all through the night Show me our love is alive Kiss me before it's too late 'cause this time our love just can't wait Just one last look While they take you away They can send me back home But they can't make me stay I'll be waiting by the phone Until they let you go And I'll be with you in a heartbeat I just want you to know They can tear us apart Send you away Oh they can't stop our heartbeats They can tell you to leave And never come back Oh they can't stop my They can't stop my heartbeat Oh they can't stop the heartbeat They can tell you to go And never come back Oh they can't stop our heartbeats They can tear us apart And send you away Oh but they can't stop the heartbeat...
I love, love, love this song too, but sadly it sounds too much like "Boys Of Summer", therefore it was inappropriate for album placement and single release.
Probably my favorite Tiffany song (with strong contention from 'Oh Jackie')! Awesome upload, man. Shocked how few people remember/have heard this classic track! I still have a single of this lying around somewhere, too. I think it was lumped with 'Mr. Mambo' and/or 'I Saw Him Standing There', but I haven't really looked at my cassette tapes since the 80's.
Thank you so much for posting this song. I had the cassette back in the late 80s when I was a child and as a gay boy trying to figure out who I was Tiffany and Debbie Gibson help me get through a lot lol thanks again for the post. You’re the best.
how anyone can not love tiffany and her music i will never no she is simply amazing she has the best voice of any singer i have ever heard in my life my only regret is that i have never seen her live
The Only track I Love by Tiffany. I Love it now as much as I Loved it back then. I think this should of been a stand alone single. I absolutely Love this song as it is on this recording.
This seriously is a beautiful song by Tiffany. It doesn't sound like most of her early songs she did during her teen years (it sounds a bit different from the rest). Although it has a nice pleasant 80's Don Henley's "Boys of Summer" sound and vibe it also has a mature, warm, and timeless sound. This song sounds very timeless compare to her other songs (not that her other songs were bad) this song however stands out and should of been a single. Oh well thank god for youtube. =)
@MrBennetzen Oh of course she is. Justin Bieber is a Flash in the Pan as the English say. He won't last too much longer. Puberty will hit him, and then bye bye career. Same for Miley Cyrus, eventually she'll be a has been as well. Also, the people who say that Tiffany looks like the girl on Disney's show Shake it Up, are completely wrong. They both have red hair, but Tiffany is 100x better looking.
Thanks for all the positive comments on the video :) I'm actually surprised anyone has watched it! I put the video up because some on RUclips was looking for the song and couldn't find it. I wish I had put more effort into the video now lol! "needadisguise" the audio was ripped from the UK CD single of Radio Romance.
This song was actually a B side to one of her hit's years ago. This song is the only one I like by her. I had the cassette single and I played it to death. Great song, great era.
THANKYOU for uploading. no need to put anymore "effort' in to it. i prefer just the audio and pic of single cover, i hate it when ppl make corny slideshows and lyric vids :D
this for me was the best song tiffany ever did. dunno why it was a b side - should have been released as the main single, not a b side. brilliant song and love the saxaphone solo in the middle.
this is the best of her b sides in my opinion
Facts
why didnt play this on the radio and should’ve been on her first album
Tiffany: can't stop a heartbeat.
tiffany has real talent and vocals Hanna Montana? Please!
This was Tiffany 's dynamic song. Probably the best! This should have been released on mainstream radio
+scottie781x somebody was asleep at the wheel on this! MCA obviously was just as stupid as her pathetic manager....I totally agree it should have gone out to radio

love this song. used to listen to It all the time back in the day. should have been released as a single
It is on the B-Side of All This Time
I always loved this b side.... 30 odd years later I still do! Thanks for sharing!
I wish this was on Spotify. Such a good song

that lot are all a bunch of wanna be's.There was unlike for Britney and Christina a Mickey Mouse Club for Tiffany and Debbie in the 80's.
This is sort of reminds me Boys Of Summer by Don Henley & Richard Marx - Should've Known Better
I came here to post the same thing. The resemblance to “Boys of Summer” is striking, but good call on “Should’ve Known Better.” A lot of ‘80s music feels that way, and the ‘90s even more so.
Was written with boys of summer in mind.
One of Tiffany underrated songs
This song was in the 1986 movie "The Wraith" with Charlie Sheen,
was not includen in the Soundtrack but was in the movie.
So I guess this was technically the first Tiffany song released?
The song was only released on CD at the 3" inch single for the "Radio Romance" and is very rare these days.
Ok I said Modern Love but also it feels like Boys Of Summer in how the rythm goes in certain places
Eric Springer
That's the first thing that came to mind. .. well obviously same producer.
Tiffany!!
@chadsVblog i am always amazed when a b-side song is better than some songs that are on the album..this is a really great song..
One of the songs I love and if my children had a chance to ice skate this song it would be Monumental to me
Secret eyes
Sayin' nothin' at all
You'd think our love
Was breakin' the law
Kisses in the darkness
That nobody sees
They know we're together
But they don't know what I feel
They can tear us apart
And send you away
Oh but they can't stop our heartbeats
They can tell you to go
And never come back
Oh but they can't stop our heartbeats
Words of steel
They tell me not to leave
I wanna be with you
But I can't get free
In a fit of rage
I run out the door
There's no tomorrow
When I'm in your arms
And they can tear us apart
Send you away
Oh but they can't stop my heartbeat
They can tell you to leave
And never come back
Oh they can't stop, oh
They can't stop the heartbeat
Hold me all through the night
Show me our love is alive
Kiss me before it's too late
'cause this time our love just can't wait
Just one last look
While they take you away
They can send me back home
But they can't make me stay
I'll be waiting by the phone
Until they let you go
And I'll be with you in a heartbeat
I just want you to know
They can tear us apart
Send you away
Oh they can't stop our heartbeats
They can tell you to leave
And never come back
Oh they can't stop my
They can't stop my heartbeat
Oh they can't stop the heartbeat
They can tell you to go
And never come back
Oh they can't stop our heartbeats
They can tear us apart
And send you away
Oh but they can't stop the heartbeat...
By far her best song !!!! ~!~
I totally agree. This song should have been released on mainstream radio.
+tinykarpo80s I agree! Her best song!
Agreed. Why was this a B-Side? It's fucking great.
Actually one of the best B-sides from Tiffany.
This song is so amazing!!!
I agree bartonon
This is actually a good song from her. She could have been considered as a legit artist with this.
Isn't she a legit artist anyway?
omg thank you for posting this..I LOVE IT..!!!! :-)
I love, love, love this song too, but sadly it sounds too much like "Boys Of Summer", therefore it was inappropriate for album placement and single release.
So why was this not promoted to a single? Shame on the stupid manager and ignorant record company!
Tiffany, the best person to happen , yes it does sound like Don Henley. So still sounds good. And sexy
This is just a GREAT song..period...great vocal and great production..married 4ever..

I remember I had the instrumental version of this, but I lost it... :-(
This sounds like Should Have Known Better meets Boys of Summer.
Is it only me or does sound remarkably like Don Henley's Boys of Summer???
thank u for this song ... i was looking for this song everywhere ...
The Only track I Love by Tiffany.
I Love it now as much as I Loved it back then. I think this should of been a stand alone single.
I absolutely Love this song as it is on this recording.
This is actually her best song, for my money.
they have my net sooo censored!!!! please keep trying, luv u
'No Rules' is better. 😊
I keep finding her songs everywhere

love this song!
This song was actually a B side to one of her hit's years ago. This song is the only one I like by her. I had the cassette single and I played it to death. Great song, great era.
If you google 'dvdvideosoft' they have a youtube to mp3 converter free d/l. It works a treat. I do have this track in mp3 format if you want it.
Radio Romance" is the second single from Tiffany's second album Hold an Old Friend's Hand in the US and first from the album in the UK.
THANKYOU for uploading. no need to put anymore "effort' in to it. i prefer just the audio and pic of single cover, i hate it when ppl make corny slideshows and lyric vids :D
