I'm not sure I've seen a "vs" video with so little information before. All you did was state the obvious. Film is softer than glass. Thanks captain obvious....

I my be wrong but from what I've seen in a couple of test videos the soft screen protector is stronger than the glass one in impact damage but scratch more easily

The last 3 phone models I've owned all only suffered broken screens once I switched from film to glass. I only use film.. Not one cracked screen when using film and an Otterbox phone protector.

Honestly this is accurate for me too. I used to throw my phone around like an idiot just to prove how strong the case was. I definitely shouldn't have done that 😅 But I never had any damage to my phone ever. I got an S9 couple years after release and didn't put a case on it and noticed the back panel broke while it was in my pocket at my warehouse job while I was working and had no clue till my break 😅 Otterbox never did me wrong.

Hey bro good video I have a 23 Ultra I also have a unicorn beetle case for my device i-blason as well, both cases come with built-in screen protectors but they also come with an extra frame for you to choose your screen protector I have tempered glass without the liquid adhesive m o lomdi or something I was wondering can I get a tempered glass that will work with these cases?, will the tempered glass that I have work yes or no, I've heard that Whitestone Dome works, kind of hurry to get using this need something that's good to use to write with the S-Pen as well so if I went with a film with those two cases how do you think I would be for some solid drops? Preciate it to get back to me thank you

Great content. I've used a lot of glass screen protectors on my note20 ultra and every time I would put my phone in a supcase unicorn beetle pro, or poetic spartan, or otterbox defender pro the screen would lift off the phone. So I tried AMFILM elastic skin screen protector. I have had no problems with it, no matter which case I used. And I like to switch out my cases often. I've had this film screen protector on my note20 ultra for over a year, and no problems.

right the glass ones allways tend to come off and dont stick back but films just give you scratch resistanse and dont bother you at all i nust love films

Like I said, I like changing cases a lot. It's probably once a week or so. Just like I do with my watch4 44mm. I changed the band and case protector once a week.

Fitting the first glass protector you got as far as I have ever got at recognizing a fingerprint using glass, 20%. Why don't Samsung fit the friggin fingerprint sensor on the power button like it should be???

  • @-Yurkey

They both have their cons and strengths...I feel like film is cost effective but tends to wear out in a couple of months whereas glass ones add bulk but are far superior in scratch resistance

cus i just put a film from another company and i didn't like it cus it doesn't cover all the edge

Imagine using a glass protector for the extra protection just for you to drop your phone on asphalt and get a stone to crack the phone's screen behind the fingerprint sensor hole. That would be hilarious.

@@pardeepsharma3414yeah I was testing it on the film and it seemed to work quite well not real issues at all nearly as good as standard with nothing, with tempered glass it's like using a 3rd party pen on a non laminated ipad that's 5 years old not great.

I just want a glass screen protector that comes short of the curved edge. Maybe a slight hinge effect between the flat and curve.

  • @Shan_Shah
    @Shan_Shah Год назад +1

Temper glass isn't good finger print isn't accurate and especially the one with black bezels are worse because it only sticks on thr edges and a tight resivid cade will peel off the screen protector from the edges and the liquid rule both after few days starts peeling off and tends to Crack out of nowhere.
Flim is better while glass cracks the flim ringlets the screen protector and one thing I love is its stretchable meaning u can cover the entire front of the phone by pushing the screen protector all the way. Once I noticed a minor scratch on the bezel of my phone its a rare thing but can happen so its better yo have fuller protection, what every u do don't buy class ones or mat ones

Glass screen Cracked and break easy. You can cut yourself trying to remove the glass screen when broken or scratch your phone screen. Just went through this removing glass screen on my brand new S23 samsung ultra. I will never use glass screen protectors again.

i preffer glass screen protectors since it seems pointless to me to protect glass with something way softer, but this glass screen protector is just a joke if it leaves so much edges, that it ruins the point of curved screen. also why every screen protector seller feels like cutting out a hole for the camera, its way better without it in all ways, it protects your camera more, and if its a hole punch camera, the dust will build up and possibly make the quality worse, like someone tell me 1 reason why they had to do that

Don't use film at all for the S23U. They simply don't apply properly most of the time and the manufacturers know it. Hence why there are mostly more than one in a pack. The split in the middle that is meant to be prized apart during most installations more often than not simply doesn't work at all with the tools provided most of the time and makes a proper installation almost impossible. Even if by some divine miracle the abomination applies there is a good chance it will be slightly off, even if done with a guide, and thus catch on the case. I do prefer the feel of them but they are virtually impossible to install correctly, offer minimal protection against drops and are quite expensive.
