Original filmstrip narrative updated for video that shares the story of Adoniram Judson and his life of Christian mission work in the early to mid 1800's.
This is such a wonderful comment! Thank YOU for sharing it I pray that you have been born again, by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. John 3:16-18 KJB
Adoniram was my 4th great grandfather. Today NY has an university of Judson. You can find a book about his life. Even cartoon booklet. I am a long time Christian living in southern California.
That is so awesome to hear!! Just heard a biography about his life and how hard it was for him to have children who would live in...it's amazing to hear that! And how you are still Christian as well! ❤🙏
Every one in Burma should be born again and continue the work of Adoniram Judson as he and his wife Ann had sacrificed for us , people of Burma . Am I worthy to meet them in Heaven? This is the question for me when I finished reading the book “ Adoniram Judson bound for Burma “ by Jenet and Geoff Benge.
I have a friend from Burma. It's common to hear from Westerners what a Western missionary has done, but it was amazing to hear from someone from the group who was reached. How so many Burmese Christians still thank God for sending him.
I'm one of them. Even though I'm not a Baptist, I really want to thanks him for his sacrifice for Burma in order to bring us the good news of Jesus Christ. I only read his translation of the bible in Burmese because it simply is the best despite some words in his translation is outdated. May God bless his soul.
Adoniram Judson Jr. was an American Baptist missionary, who served in Burma for almost forty years. At the age of 25, Adoniram Judson became the first Protestant missionary sent from North America to preach in Burma.
Thank you for telling Adoniram’s story ❣️what courage he had, and all his wives proved what a loving man he was. We have a large group of Burmese people south of indianapolis. I wonder if they know Judson’s story?
No ! Not 80 % they the sacrifice of Judson Adoniram. I , myself just got the different books of Adoniram’s story where I migrated to Canada as refugee resettlement. During reading the book I cried till the end , and do I am worthy to meet him in heaven? God bless America!!
Shouldn't Adoniram Judson's willingness to be obedient to Christ's call on his life be normative for Christians? I appreciate this video presentation and the wonderful example of godly devotion it portrays.
You are exactly correct Ron" these men were (normal) Followers of Jesus Christ.......it"s our soft life style that promotes apathy from Surrendering all To The One That Bore our sins........Luke 14:33
Every year karen people remember, because he was on the American who turn karen people to christian....and he was the one who created our karen language...
Tito 3:3-4, 7
I'm sorry. I think I received an old DVD with this file on it from American Baptist Churches several years ago. Perhaps you could contact them or their International Ministries department to see if they have higher resolution.
@@rogerherrera4485 you remember when you are in church and the usher passes around the purses that people in the church donate their money to? That's where he got the money.
Adoniram Judson was a man of great zeal for God that was in many ways not according to knowledge. (Rom 10:2) His abject lack of understanding of the finished work of Christ on behalf of his sheep led him to dangerously and heretically mix man's works with God's works in the realm of eternal salvation. A good example of Judson's error and a biblical analysis is available for your review at theearstohear blogspot com
Thank you so much Adoniram Judson. God you never Forgot us . LOVE From Myanmar 🇲🇲

What a touching story. The fruits of his sacrificial work are now seen in Burma. THank God for a man he sent. God bless America...
May the peace of Christ be the judge in your hearts, as you were called to live in peace as members of one body. And be grateful.
