It truly is one of the saddest feelings of all time. I’m a MG owner myself. Knowing my car was built here is really amazing. I’m local myself, just in Walsall in fact, would love to visit the factory myself
Chinese
That factory was demolished a long time before this video was posted. The Longbridge plant (recorded in this video) has been demolished for awhile now, I went to visit it early this year to find it had been flattened, but I know that all of the cars in this video were being stored in the remains of this plant, they weren’t built there nor were they being left there, the still functioning MG plant is literally next door to the remains of where these cars were being stored, and all of these cars have been sold by now.
really so they are been inside before demolish?
Could not have been demolished before 2015 as the MG3 was not released in the uk till them
I work in Longbridge! This is a storage warehouse on site for cars shipped in from China. It isn't abandoned at all. Just unused. The offices opposite are still manned as are other buildings on site.
If you worked there your know that it was CAB one not a warehouse car assembly building one!
@@urban_fox_cub_urbex is this the old factory where the original Mini was built?
Considering that it’s 2019 right now I wonder of all those cars are still sitting there.
2020 now
Been demolished now mate cars sent to China apparently
@@marksmanlynch5569 thanks for the info update!👍
2021 now
@Landen Zakai why would you want do do that
That cars, tires, car parts, engine's and more need to be saved or its made for nothing and thats not good
When you're the janitor on night shifts... 😂
The Restaurant certainly looked abandoned, especially the fat fryer ugh
Yeah
That what we eat
These guys are fired! :D
Lost car mg
I did some service contract work here many years ago when it was fully open. Shame to see it like this but the place was ran bad. I remember even tho it was fully open and still making cars there were many cars just dotted all around the place. Mainly left out side tucked into unused spaces. They were not on the final production line waiting to be shipped. Im not sure if there was anything wrong with them but they looked alright. They were always unlocked with the keys in them.
They leave it all abandoned even those good looking cars that could be sold. I amazed to see brand new cars just left abandoned. They will rust away in time. Thanks for sharing.
telsah1 ugliest cars on the road
I am pretty sure is just unsold inventory. I mean, it is better to have them inside than out and they will send them to dealerships as soon as they ask for them.
good enough as a taxi or health care service car or whatelse needs a daily car. sell em for €5000 without guarantees and I'll take 2.
Where is this? Please tell me
I explore abandoned places to here in Ireland
Can i have 10 of them. Thnx
Jesua Diaz lol
XxJoeb xX His bio makes it seem like he is a gay rights protester😅
I would go there with 5 friends are play untill all cars are wrecked :D LOL . u cant legal register them... therefore only for parts or wreck :D

Why you cry, need 10 fried what, 10 Cars, 10 what? Thx for what? what did you got?
Cheap cars, able to produce anywhere, needed by local laws.
Bullshit dump country if you ask me, why trash that place?
The wipers "up" means there's an issue with that car. Usually a repair job was needed or a parts issue
That factory produced some of the UKs most famous cars
It’s sad to see it closed
These cars are not abandoned , they belong to MG motors UK and are from some of the first runs from the new line. These cars are sold today in the UK. They called MG3, this factory still makes them, your in a part that is not used, it’s more of a storage building. You guys clearly broke in as this site is open, and has Security.
"On 23 September 2016 MG announced that all car production had ceased at Longbridge and henceforth MG vehicles would be imported into the UK."

Hi, i am known to be annoying
Da40kOrks some assembly is still done in the uk site
MrTangolizard it sure is 👍
no longbridge is a storage area all production is now done in china
MG used to be Morris Garages now its more Ming Garages
could MG Rover have been saved yes but the EU stopped the uk government injecting money into the company then the phoenix 5 decided to enter motorsport in BTCC & Le Mans spending loads of cash on entertaining people at trackside
they had new designs for the replacement for the 25,45 & 75 models from a design house but told them instead they just wanted a cheap facelift
Thanks EU we could not save the rover workers shame you didn't stop peugeot being financed by the french in the 80's (PSG Group is still 10% public owned to this day)
not abandoned that part of longbridge is still used
nick clee Thank you.
+Corsham Viton
I can't recognize that symbol. What car company is that?
Captain Obvious Rover/Mg
+Liam Kavanagh
Ah, I see.
Captain Obvious I
That is a very large factory and the cars looks new because it isn't abandoned. Just the side that they are trespassing on. It is used for storage now.
Trespassing
That's amazing, I have yet to explore a factory with this much stuff left behind
Billions of dollars lost through corporate mismanagement, left for the average taxpayer and consumer to absorb thtough taxes and future purchases.
joe Schlotthauer pounds £ GBP 🇬🇧 no dollars lost here
"Socialist alarm triggered", go get a job and do something useful.
joe Schlotthauer I'm glad MG stopped because there cars were always terrible. My dad had one and the car wouldn't start if you used it for 3 hours
"future purchases" ???? No one force you to buy things commie
joe Schlotthauer what
My dad always says “there’s profit in confusion” let that sit with you for a while
The Almighty elaborate please
Your dad sounds confused.
Let that sink in for a while.
Oggy Oggy I can explain to you but I can’t understand if for you, just let that sink in
+The Almighty that's an awesome reply
He is a wise man. Lack of certainty paralyses decisions, it often very easy for practical average people to work out what will happen when you look behind the hype.
4:53 & 6:00 There was some odd things here that raise red flags, 4:53 in a abandoned building why is their new construction/remodeling. 6:00 why was there new concrete poured down a stairway, closing it off, it was new concrete & the handrails disappeared into the concrete?? Something is not right at that location, lets not forget all those cars, tires & engines!!!! RED FLAGS
Its not strictly abandoned, they still operate on the plant site but the site as a whole is largely disused. Theyre starting to redevelop it i think?
@@Big_man746 OK, cool....that would make sense then. Thx for the reply/info Tom.
those stairs would've likely lead to the shadow factories that were located underneath
@@pkrmkn31 probably so, that shit definitely happens.
I mean the building itself isn't creepy but the fact that some brand new cars/tires/engines/body panels/etc are just left there is pretty creepy.
Maybe the reason they were abandoned is that some dummy put the steering wheels on the wrong side.
Rusty Nail if you did a bit of research, you would know why each country drives on it’s respective side of the road, and also be aware that makes people who drive a left hand drive vehicle to be the descendants of serfs.
I think he knows this he was just saying a joke chill out
PR0DIGY 911 so may I enquire if you know the reason why different countries drive on different sides?
Yeah someone made a law and kapiesh there it was they drive on a different side of the road
Nth_Pr0digyLaw did you take five seconds to thing of the reasons behind that aforementioned law, or do you think major policy decisions are just plucked from the sky at random on the run?
Because everyone keeps saying nooo that’s a waste of cars the factory and the contents will be auctioned off it’s not abandoned it’s just closed.
One Life Vlogs the vats of oil prove it's been untouched for some time
Young Professional They still work there and these bits are used for storage but the bits like the canteen with the fat and stuff are not used because they have a new one in the main office
It's not a factory anymore, they just put together Chinese parts kits on the site of the former factory. Clearly this used to be an actual working part of Longbridge back in the day, and they now just use it for storage, since slapping parts kits together doesn't need as much space.
I just subscribed to your channel and hello from New Hampshire usa.
I could be wrong, but i think this plant built rover and mg up until 2005 when the Chinese company Ningjang bought it, and of course the Chinese love to leave stuff to rot. But again, i could be wrong
Mr.Everyman Yeah, you can see some photos for the 75 in the video. The MG3 started production in 2013 though.
Those cars are all brand new, it's a storage building, the only thing abandoned is actual production.
Mr.Everyman well that is correct expect the cars are not from 2005 they are a year old at least.
Mr.Everyman it’s just a place to put together Chinese kits.
This is really funny this is a car thief Paradise lol
Awesome video 👍👍
awesome video ;)
1:16 looks like something one of the 3 stooges were cooking
It's very sad to see brand new cars just left abandoned with an uncertain future. Surely they can be sold to live their lives cos they look ok
Tiarnan Glavin they are not abandoned
They look like cheap chineas crap, and thats what they are. I might buy one for at most! 1,5k
ITZTOM YT Yes, but their plastik is mostly so cheap especalially compared to the VW plastic.
They might be! 6k but i would never pay it for them. For 6k you can get a realy nice used car which will last way longer and drive way better with a similar running cost than this cheap rubish.
GamerGuyPVP PVP What? What's wrong with you?? For 1,5k you get a Tata Nano brand new without any extras. Compared to those you can exspect to pay at least more than 8k, which is completly fine for a new car!
Amazing find on all those 🚘😊👍
aaah the old longbridge factory, so sad it had to go, wouldnt mind popping down and "liberating" a few cars myself
Lol, your that confident it's abandoned, your whispering, like little thief's, luv it.
i dont think it’s abandoned...
*ITS CLOSED* ... For renovations
On 23 September 2016 MG announced that all car production had ceased at Longbridge and henceforth MG vehicles would be imported into the UK.
therefore the chinese who overtook mg just left it there
Maybe they can rehab it to make DMC 12's(again)?!¿?!!
Metro_mo why do dealerships always do that shit...
Lol
Nice vids bud
thanks for sharing. it looks well scarey. it's funny that the lads are whispering tho.
No dust on anything? Cars are really clean? I’m not sure it’s abandoned....
No, the workers have been called out on strike after hearing about therecent passing of Derek (Red Robbo) Robinson.
It’s not it’s closed and the cars are in storage
I think this is a normal factory closure. Before you close the factory, you stockpile some goods to sell after the closure.
Cars are Chinese a produced model. They must be using the plant as storage
John Meyer I think MG is just storing the cars there will they are sold.
The Blair Wrench Project!
alfred selle movie
Thanks for the Informative Video it's Sad that these New Cars are left like that.
It's a shame to abandon cars that have not even been sold..
Especially with tires and motors coming out of the factory...
I wonder how much money they lost..
*I loved this video*
I'd take one of those cars for free xD...
Christopher Martinez the reason the factory closed is because no one wanted the cars and it’s not worth selling the last stock
One Life Vlogs I will just take some few engine s
One Life Vlogs nobody wanted to buy them, but they are good enough for free.
Christopher Fraser I’ve never risked it with any stranger’s car, but I have a few friends that lost their keys or the ignition lock broke. I have also bypassed the chip on my car once just to see if it could be done. It was an older car, a 1997 Opel Omega and it was surprisingly easy to do with basic knowledge of what the gas pump relay was and its pinout. With newer cars it’s not that easy, I’m sure.
a normal person realises that if you take a vehicle is stealing.... its still owned by either the maker or factory and the cars will eventually be moved to another location, even if the factory has been shut down and theres no one in the buildning doesnt mean it is abanadoned.. these people probably saw the few last stages of the factory being completely shut down since theres still power and theres stuff left to be collected by whoever is emptying it
They used to assemble partly built Chinese mgs in cab1 and use cab2 to store the finished vehicles before dispatch. Now they use cab1 to store fully imported mg 3 and mg gs and are demolishing cab2 now
so whats the address?
It's been demolished
@Ryan Stocker he wants a car obviously
Sign me up
Ez money bois (just sell all the cars lol)
I want to know the same thing! Free cars? Sign me up!!!
This just brings up so many questions for me
Could have made a lot of money if you snagged all those wheels and tires...
screw that "engines are worth more"
take a car or two
RJ 908 Stolen cars are hard to get rid of.
Catalytic converters would make good money lol
hellopeople43 if you need to replace tires every year, your car and driving style is a problem.
The cars are not registered and don't have liscence plates just take the keys in the ignition jump start and drive them to you house then put them liscence plates...job done you have a brand new car that won't be registred as stolen in the police database either no one will ever know and find it... All that for free
That block stairwell probably goes to the ww2 tunnels of the shadow factory
bmwman1981 I was gutted when I saw it filled in, although I have been in the tunnels check my other videos out
I’m amazed there’s no security presence onsite!
Top channel and video
I would say the Factory is closed rather than abandoned...all machinery ,parts and cars will be auctioned
zolbad juanrico yea
zolbad juanrico lol obviously what place shuts down &leaves engines, cars, tires ect. To just rott? Plus the lights are still on. 😂 he broke in is more logical
The ‘brand new cars’ are only there for storage, these haven’t been abandoned there. Part of the site is still active, please do not mislead people to make the video appear more interesting. Brand new cars have not been left abandoned.
I've been informed those new vehicles are being stored 'temporally' on that site as MG still own the place. the production side of the plant hasn't been running for over 10 years and those cars where made later than that.
*i believe i would have had to see if one of those cars started and went and had some fun driving around in the lit up part of the factory* :o)
Wow, you find amazing places really ^^
I'm french and kinda beggining in exploration, but you seem to have a lot more stuff to explore in the UK it's wonderful that's it's untouched yet, would like to visit things like that when i go to the UK sometime.
What a shame that you don't have more subscribers with such quality videos
J’ai pensé le même chose. Ses vidéos sont tellement bons
It’s untouched because it’s not abandoned they are trespassing mg still use the factory for designing and storing shit
Damn! I could at least have four 👍🏼😉👻
I understand with urban exploration that you just leave footprints, but there’s a ton of inventory there to consider scavenging. Vehicles may be a “no go” since you would need bill of sale to register, but wheels, and engines.
It must be very bizarre to see a hole car factory abandoned and also to see them cars there it’s just absolutely the mind boggles
Those cars aren't abandoned, they just keep it there for a while, pretty common in big companies
Patricio Andres Muñoz Lopez yeah probably just using it as storage
You can bet that they are on an accountants balance sheet somewhere!
Some could say you are trespassing on private property.
quite an awesome place im wondering how you got in tho?? is there no security and what it looks like now after so long
Abandoned? Not only break or factory holiday? :D Amazing place. The cars have a little fuel in the factory if they are ready. You might have tried ridding for the higher viewing.
Recently abandoned... no it's not, the majority of the factory was abandoned in 2005 and MG motors is now owned by SAIC who use a small part of the original factory to put the finishing touches to the MG 3, 6 and new ZS, which are the cars that you see here.
Craig the engines in those cars were starting to that, we looked.
Well the bit they went in was recently abandoned
Did they SAIK MG Motors
Craig Yeah, well, they are piles of shit that were essentially made fully in China and just assembled there for marketing and government kickback.
Where is it
it is not abandoned, this is simply used as storage, this is at The MG plant in long bridge Birmingham where production has completely scaled down
now its destroyed so then i they get in
@@drhorry4244 you what?
1:36 you should’ve got some relay equipment and nicked that mg gs 😂
I need 2 of these
I've got an MG3 and they're welcome to have it back, it's the worst car I've ever owned
spider23000 had one as a rental and thought who buys these. The whole car felt like it was falling apart over 50mph.
Get an older MG, all round nicer car plus with the ZT you get a nice 2.5L V6
Ha I didn’t think anyone was foolish enough to buy a Chinese car
Never again. Never. Fucking. Again.
akokaontawu true
It's not abandoned. They're just stored there. I live next to this factory and the Chinese had money from our Government to build cars there. As you can see, they don't. you never see a lorry go in or out. We bailed the banks out but let this go. It decimated the whole area.
niptodstan where is the factory?
Vali Tudor . Longbridge. The old Rover works.
The o ly creepy thing about this is the fact that ther is no alarm. Not even a silent alarm aparently, cause if the power is still there the alarm would be the first thing to work. Just.. Odd.
Grt that cars dude
I really hope the new ‘MG’ go bust. Nothing about the new so called MG has any Britishness or MGness in it. You can tell they are Chinese cars with a poor MG badge stuck on it. The Chinese company has ruined MG in my eyes sadly. The new ones are awful and then ‘MG’ decide they will back out of the country that started it. I really hope someone saves MG before it gets fully ruined to be an Chinese car company.
Ben Mayall I agree with u but it’s a Chinese company
Fool its chinese
MG was out of the market anyway. it would die sooner without Chinese, isn't it?
Papakura Photo Shop New Zealand ??
Jonathan Doe sadly
Poor car...... They're lookin' like homeless... factory isn't a "home" mkay?
I'd like to take all of em', ain't no car goin' to be abandoned.
Doubt there abandoned. the company probably is just storing them there. Companies don’t just leave cars to rot. that’s €200k+ of cars, trust me they’ll be at a dealership soon.
A dealership where they won't shift a dozen cars. New Mgs are absolutely crappy
Joshua Metcalfe You do realise that the new MG’s sell so fast that at one point the next nine boats of ZS’ and GS’ had been sold before they had even been shipped
YEAH,IN CHINA!
The place is huge and millions of monetary items in cars, parts, electric, and who knows what else. They losing more than they saving in storing what they have there. More please.
They still assemble the cars as the longbridge site and the new mg3 and mg6 turbo are actually really good cars good design under neath makes things easier for us mechanics that work on them, nice to drive and got some power in the mg6 turbo, the long bridge site is massive the part they are in is not used, was supposed to be refurbed for the new production line but was stopped and production is now china and soon to be india,
can’t go wrong with the new mg range
Cheap affordable
Reliable and nice to drive with alot of tech inside
I legit live across the road from the factory I could get in there
This is the MG Rover Factory in Lombridge. This is new MG cars.
Tudor Las Vegas That surprises me. I thought MG had died a long time ago
MG had phased out but have made a come back over recent years.
Now, MG is made in China.
The cars are made in China.
On 23 September 2016 MG announced that all car production had ceased at Longbridge and henceforth MG vehicles would be imported into the UK.
Cool!!
Damn those MG's!!!
Worth a sad look:
Clarkson's Car Years - Who Killed The British Motor Industry? (RUclips.)
Brand new cars!!?? Dude you sure they are abandoned?? If next year they are still there take one
I can't believe you find these cars, and don't try and have some fun !!
1:50 DAMMMM fresh K series engines
1:30 what that sounds?
I think there are unseen element inside that factory!
They are laughing seriously...
Im.hear it too !
Seagulls?
i am are think that thought that it are might be one two seagull XD
This could be a metaphor for the British car industry as a whole, the last one to leave turn out the lights, very sad.
+diecast jam
Funny because "Last one to leave turn out the lights" is the official slogan of the city of Detroit here in the United States. The US auto industry is in shambles. GM/Chevy and Dodge/Chrysler/Fiat are pretty much dead at this point. Ford is the only American company that's still alive and kicking. The new "Big 3" is Toyota, Honda, and Mitsubishi.
I knew of this place as it was on my list of places to explore in my area but is the factory still there as of today because i kmow they sold the remaining products of the company and Dk of the factory was demolished or not
The amount of money just sitting there...
screw playing with the sink... start pushing out one of those cars!!!
I would have taken one of those cars, or all of them
Ikr lol
ronnie doorzon id judt sell all the engines tires etc that was left out because im lazy!
i take one.
flipdude27 screw it just sell the car on craigslist
flipdude27 Same i'd have a mate with a truck there straight away if i stumble across this walkin the dog...
Did this in 2005, 2010, 2016,2017,2018,2019.2020 up till it was all demolished
I would like to order three of these cars. Thanks!
I would love to buy a building like this. I'd make an indoor Village 😂🤣
A cyberpunk like village that would so dope
I wouldve just taken some useful parts out and used them on my project car
But then do you really want parts from an MG supermini lol
if I'd live near there I'd definitely look into taking a couple of those cars, nothing is going to happen to them if they're left alone. they would just rust away. maybe the factory has already been cleared out by now though
Ive got one of those I might drive it back to the factory and leave it there, that deep fat fryer has more power
What car is that?
@@Lucas-ck1po MG 3. It's a Chinese brand now.
they are current models in storage
6:40 nice, you opened the tap and waste the water
Should of tried to start one of the car's haha
I can't believe they left without doing anything to the cars
When you look at what they were producing no wonder the plant went under, nobody wants an MG3 as they were rubbish.
David Richards I've never seen an MG3 before. Where they only sold in the UK?
David Richards Thanks for the info!
Misleading title the factory is not abandoned
Dang, anybody else think “ahh they won’t miss just one!”
I need a new car 😉 nice video 👍🏻
