    Going to be a sad day when we lose this great man. Is he a perfect coach? Well, no- no one is perfect. He is a great person and that says a lot.

    Hayden Fry retired on the day I was born, so Kirk has been the coach LITERALLY my whole life. It will be a very strange day when he isn’t coach anymore.

      he was my coach.. i left the program for the navy.. plus i had chronic groin tears.. not good for a TE

    Now it’s time for him to retire, for gods sakes we can’t let this man keep ruining good seasons while his son makes money purely off his last name

    I just wished he would do the Hokey Pokey like Hayden used to do with the kids.

    How long can his son , Brian keep the job as OC ? 3 points in the Big 10 championship?
    Near 100th rankings in all major offensive stats. Brian " Nepotism" Ferentz needs to go. Surely there is an Alcoholic Stoops nephew who could do better.

    The only thing gripe I have as an Iowa fan is his hiring of his kid as the OC and not firing him after the black players singled Brian out as an issue. Brian needs to go. Promote Levar Woods to OC and then we can have continutity when it comes time for Ferentz to retire.

      I have serious doubts about the allegations. A lot of what's seen as "rACiSt" nowadays is complete BS, and only serves to promote division amongst people and there are always dishonest ones wanting to capitalize on it. It's a tool used to project your problems onto someone else. The race card is pathetic, and the word "racist" is constantly applied where it is a non-factor and doesn't exist.

      I kind of agree and would also say his son isnt even that great of an offensive coach aside from those allegations. That alone should be enough to get a better OC. Hes a weak link in the staff, IMO... at least in what he has shown so far.

      Just because somebody accuses you of something, doesn't mean you're guilty. If I got fired for everything I was accused of, I would have never held a job.

    Mediocre coach.

      9-10 wins a year is not mediocre. That is exceptionally consistent.

      so.. consistently ranking top 25 of 128 teams.. second only to Ohio state in NFL talent... if you dial 411 ask them what mediocre means.. or directions to a library.. since you cant figure out google

      All parents should be proud to send their kid to Iowa to play football

    His career peaked over 10 years ago. Iowa could've had Harbaugh but made the mistake of sticking with mediocrity

    • @modfoxv10
      @modfoxv10 2 года назад +2

      not sure if joking.. Iowa.. never ever ever had a shot or mutual interest between harbaugh and Iowa.... Iowa Wisconsin and Ohio State are the only B1G consistently relevant teams
