thank you for another wonderful wooly wednesday! My take aways are how you make the nose, eyelids and the toes. You make it so much easier using those methods. Thank you for sharing. You take daunting features and make them more doable! You are so sweet and amazing for helping us learn at a level we all can learn at!

It's great to reach your channel by accident, and it's the first time i've seen your most wonderful channel and your simplified lessons to teach the art of felting. I'm preparing a master's thesis on fiber, whether industrial or natural, and i'm very much accessible to the art of felting
My research will be the first reference in Arabic on the art of felting. So accept my thanks and accept me as a friend of your channel
    Thanks a lot

Wow! This show was amazing! Thank you for doing an extended version of last week's Bunnies from Easter Eggs. I love that you have the live show. Participating in that is so much fun. I tell my Mom, "Don't call me Wednesday from noon to one (Pacific Time) because I'm in class with Marie." Can we do a live class a couple more times a week? My Mom rings me a LOT! :-D

Today's felting class will help me with adding faces to all kinds of animals, so I was so glad to see it. Marie is such a great teacher and I love the fairy girls too. I look forward to this each Wednesday. When I start my wildlife position again in the spring, I will just have to watch the classes after they occur (not live). I love Living Felt!!!

    • @Takaia42
      @Takaia42 3 года назад +1

@@deborahdawson6122 I believe their needles are color coded! I just replied to this comment but it said there was an error... sorry if you get multiple notifications for this but I don't see my original reply. I've copy-pasted a color guide below, but if you happen to be color blind I'd be happy to help you identify the colors if you send a picture!
32 Triangle BLUE - very coarse, will needle felt very firm and even rock hard!
36 Triangle PINK - coarse work, very firm needle felting
36 Reverse ALMOND - pulls more wool out! Great for fuzzy finish
38 Triangle PLAIN - general sculpting, great for classes
38 Star PLAIN - faster than the 38 Triangle
38 Spiral PLAIN - comparable to 38Star needle but faster, twists as you poke!
38 gauge Reverse WHITE - pulls wool out
40 Triangle GREEN - fine, detail work
40 Spiral PURPLE - fine, great for refining and finishing
42 Triangle YELLOW - very fine, for finishing and refining and shallow works (poke at a shallow depth)

I have been working on my Poppa bunny-style bunny. I am learning a lot. I have taken your, "don't let the wool push you around" concept and put it into action. It has been so helpful! I am paying attention to details and not hurrying, so it is taking a while, but it is coming out so nicely. The glass eyes I have are not the right size for my bunny, so I had to make some out of wool. I am so happy with how they came out! Thank you so much for teaching and sharing your love of the art and craft of felting.

I am usually working during the live broadcast but love watching these videos. So much good information. P.S. I was at your shop a couple of weeks ago visiting from California. Love your new workshop! A couple of questions. Papa bunny has more of a cone shaped head than baby bunny boy...was more wool added to papa or just felted more? Also, on the lop eared baby bunny girl, how did you attach the ears? Marie, you are so talented and make everything seem easy! The fairies are awesome! Looking forward to wet felted eggs next week. thxs
