If you want to test if that fence is hot, electric just take a blade of grass and hold one end of it and lay the other end on the wire. If it's hot you'll get a shock but it'll be more like a tingle since it has to travel through the grass. Way better than laying a finger on the wire lol

That is really cool man. I hope the builder can get to you quickly. Windows and doors are a problem lately, pick some out and order them once you decide (or ask your builder what the deal is locally). I just watched a guy wait almost 6 months for his custom windows, should have been about 4 weeks at most. Cover your materials up, those LVL's are expensive to replace right now; i would say covered but allow air flow- have any old tin roofing you can get to sit on top of it all, weighted down of course. Wire is super obnoxious right now, I don't know what to tell you to do on that; maybe it will come down a bit by the time you need it. Good luck with your build. hope you and your family are doing well.
