उड़ गई यूँ वफ़ा ज़माने से, कभी गोया किसी में थी ही नहीं recited by

Daag Dehelvi put each and every person who read this ghazal into guilt of not drinking wine. That’s what a Shayar do so meticulously, that he justifies the works which are abandoned by the priest and put the priest into questioning.

I have always read this ghazal and particularly the sher (couplet).
lutf-e-mai tujh se kyā kahūñ zāhid
haa.e kam-baḳht tū ne pī hī nahīñ
uḌ ga.ī yuuñ vafā zamāne se
kabhī goyā kisī meñ thī hī nahīñ
