  • 1. How God Clears His Name from all False Charges | The Great Cosmic Controversy | Stephen Bohr
Seventh-day Adventists often refer to the “doctrine” of the sanctuary. But the sanctuary is much more than a mere doctrine of the church. It is actually the World View that unites all the Bible doctrines into a beautiful mosaic of truth. In this series, Pastor Bohr links the sanctuary with the overarching concept of the great conflict between good and evil and explains how Jesus, step by step, resolves the universal problem of evil. If you want to know how evil began, why it continues, and how it will end this is the series for you.

Dear Pastor Bohr, thank you for working so hard to bring us Biblical truth- of all SDA preachers, your messages strengthen our faith in our end-of-time messages, more than those of any other SDA preachers I've listened to in my 60 years of being an SDA. Your cross references to other related scriptures which throw light on the relevant topics are brilliant!

Yet he teaches that there’s a pot of manna in the ark in heaven which is a lie.

@@annettemacintosh117 Annette, I agree with you that as a human, Pastor Bohr probably doesn't get everything 100% right, but overall, he certainly discovers a lot of hitherto hidden treasure in his Bible searches.

@@annettemacintosh117was there anything that moses had put in the sanctuary out of his will?
From the sturdy I have done concerning the sanctuary is that the earthly was a reflection of the original.
The pot of manna on the hand had its meaning to us humans.

Why don't you share the following with TED WILSON, MARK FINLEY and the GC sabbath school secretary??>>>>>>>Ephesians is 155 verses long. MOST SDA sabbath school class teachers & members will not even read all 155 verses over the 13 weeks in class. It takes just 12 verses each sabbath. The classes will just discuss and argue over the lesson and topics, LIKE USUAL!! Most churchgoers , including SDA, have never read the whole bible or even the whole new testament ONCE!

As a soon to be former Pastor Bohr fan, he has officially taken the bait as a salvation through works false prophet. And I’m not so sure I want to be baptized into SDA.
First, Pastor Bohr doesn't reference those spoken of in Romans 2 who haven't heard the Gospel and are a law unto themselves and will be judged according to their hearts, nor does he reference children or even those with special needs who will also be counted righteous. It is those who are saved whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Second, if your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life it is because you are saved. That Book is not filled with good fish and bad fish/ virgins with oil and without / brides with garments and without - if your name is written in the Book of Life, it is because you are saved, not because you claim to be saved. Additionally, there was also a sacrifice for the sins that were committed by Israel that they did not realize were committed; thus, if you profess Christ, yet don't confess a sin because you don't realize it is a sin, that will not prevent you from being considered righteous. In Philippians Paul is referring to his partners whose names are written in the Book of Life, because they are followers of Christ, not because they claim to be.
The notion that we who are alive at the end will be found faultless is Biblical- but faultless does not equal total sinlessness. If God’s end time people are able to conquer sin without the Holy Spirit then logically we all should be able to conquer sin with the Holy Spirit rendering Christ’s death for the sins of humanity useless and unnecessary. That’s heresy.
Also, the notion that we should live afflicted lives and fast throughout our life because we are in a perpetual post 1844 day of atonement is ridiculous. I attended an SDA who had chicken wings and desserts for potluck. I guess they are living in conflict with Adventism according to Bohr. Thus, anyone who ate a piece of pie since 1844 is living recklessly and does not take Jesus ministry in the heavenly tabernacle seriously.
Jesus was the Lamb of God because leading a sinless life was not possible- For ALL HAVE SINNED and fallen short of the glory of God and are justified FREELY by the GRACE ONLY through the redemption that comes by Jesus our Lord. It 's about the purity of heart - not the total perfection of thoughts and actions. The notion that once you profess Christ, you are expected to live sinless is antithetical. Jesus was God - we are not, which is why he came. The notion that we need to meet certain conditions to attain perfection or will not be sealed is false doctrine. It doesn't mean that we should sin so that grace may abound, but it does mean that we are still considered the flock of Jesus because God knows OUR HEARTS.
If your name is written in the Book of Life, it can NOT be blotted out. If you lose your salvation, then your name was never written in the Book to begin with. If you are a follower of Christ, perfect character is still impossible- if it was possible, then He wouldn't have had to die in the first place. It's just like the notion of purgatory - if we can burn off our sins, why did Christ die for them? It's the same thing- if we are judged by our works without God's grace, then what's the point of dying for our sins- we could've just done it ourselves, even though scripture says that's impossible. Ellen White does not seem to believe Jesus was God, if she claims humans can attain the same sinless life as Christ in the end time.
