I've said it before, but Yuri's behavior makes a lot more sense if you see him as a clingy mama's boy that's dealing with the fact that his single mom is now with a new stepdad that he thinks is shady. Yuri sees Yor more like a mother than a sibling due to the lack of parental figures they had while growing up.
I want to believe that..... But years of watching anime makes me question that believe. I'll be happy if that is all it is, but so far Yuri is a fun but somewhat annoying character. Of course my opinion of him will most probably get better as the series moves forward

Yuri might be too obsessive with his sister due to obvious reasons (she raised him like a mother, then got married to a shady person and didn't tell him about that until 1 year later) but he seriously wishes for Yor's happiness, and he obviously acknowledges Loid after that too (handsome, tall, considerate and tells him that Loid can have Yor now).

(I haven’t read the manga to full detail mostly read through the import plots to keep the anime experience for me) I do wonder if Yor and Loid work for the same side just using different methods to keep peace?

An interesting detail, when Yuri is describing Twilight he says that Twilight is a "villain that is trying to make this world fall into chaos." However, we can clearly see that is the exact opposite of what Twilight is after. The whole reason Loid is working so hard for operation Strix is to PREVENT war! This actually makes Loud similar to Yuri, as Yuri only does this kind of work to keep his country safe and peaceful for Yor. But Yuri doesn't even attempt to ponder Twilight's reasons because his country has told him that Twilight is the enemy. And if Twilight is the enemy then clearly he is totally evil and without humanity. This series is primarily a comedy, but it also has some great commentary on the futility of war as well as the pettiness and hypocrisy of governments during cold wars. These themes will become much more prevalent later in the series, ESPECIALLY in the recent manga chapters.

Yuri acts a bit over the top when it comes to Yor, but his behavior does genuinely make sense when you take that into context.

The funny thing about the math question at the beginning is that Anya's answer is understandable. It was 5/6 minus 2/3, so she subtracted 2 from 5 and 3 from 6 and got 3/3. It's wrong, but you can see the thought process of how she got there.
