I LOVE YOU!!!!! I just started this game and have lost countless fish because i did not know anything about snaps. Also I was not doing the “keep your pole straight up when they are splashing in the middle” because this is not what you do when fishing IRL. You have been incredibly, INCREDIBLY, awesomely, helpful. ♥️♥️
I LOVE your videos!! You have helped me tremendously...I appreciate how thorough you are in explaining every little detail, like changes in the color on your line to how to hold your pole when the fish is swimming back and forth., etc. You are my absolute favorite when it comes to watching videos on VR Fishing!!! Thank you, and keep'em coming!! I need all the help I can get lol.
Good morning, my name is Peter and I am from the UK.Firstly, many thanks for all the help I have had from your videos. I am confused by how you achieve “A quick release” when you have cast in accurately or wish to release a small fish after two runs. I suffer from essential tremor so accurate casting is rarely possible. Hoping you can help, thanks
To do the quick release pull back on the thumbstick and hold it until the line retrieves. You will lose your bait and if you are using a lure there is a chance you will lose a lure, about 1 out of 10 quick retrieves will lose the lure.
Can I ask you something really quick? Well I bought a fishing glove for 2000 and it’s not on my hand. Can you tell me why? Do I need to equip it or something?
Is the grasshopper/spinner combo still what you use in South Korea? To try to get Tigers/Makos on location 20 I've used the shiner and tried the fish buffet method with the batfish and it hasn't worked nearly as effectively as using the grasshopper in the US West locations. Since the fish aren't the same is there another fish that you target specifically in those locations to use fish buffet? Every video I've watched on the technique has used US West, where it has worked great, and not South Korea where I have found it more difficult.
have you found a lure to use on the Koreans maps? Not sure what to use to catch the small fish over there for sharks? Trying to finish off my awards and its been taking a long time. Any help is appreciated. Keep up the videos, I enjoy them a lot. Great info. Thanks again
Thank you for video! Quick question unrelated to this video: Is it only possible to fish from a boat in multiplayer mode? I haven't seen any other way to fish from a boat in a certain location. Take care!
@tropical9584 as your XP increases, you gain more license levels, up to level 20. Different things unlock as your level grows. Level 16 unlocks huge fish, level 20 unlocks epic, and unique fish.
Hey cool vid! I just got a quick question I haven’t been able to catch a shark in a day and a half. I’m at 16 17 and 20 a lot but nothing. I have two Makos in my tank. Any ideas what’s going on?? Thanks
I’m having a lot of trouble catching the bullhead shark and the colbia. They are the epic fish on level 18 and 19. I watched your guides on them, but I can’t catch them. Could you make a more in depth video for them and other more difficult epics?
Even using the methods to catch them it is still random luck on epics. Cobia was the hardest for me also, I think the spawns are extremely low for them. I will watch my videos and see if there is anything I can do to improve the odds but I am guessing not.
the way I caught a gummy shark which is epic was with a golden crawfish on float rod with the bopper that drifts and he attacked it himself not off another fish it was,how would you say .....cool
For Mako stick with the South Korea Locations. Location 17 is a great place to catch them. I did most of mine on location 20 but it took me a long time to get my 15 for the reward. I averaged 1 per 10 tiger sharks.
Hello can you please tell me why I grinned for the 4000 dollar casting rod and 2500 dollar casting reel then it just vanished? I put my headset down for a minute then I put it back on then it told me to buy saltwater casting rod so I went to the store then it said bought and i was so mad because it vanished even though I bought it 1 minute ago!! Someone please tell me why this happened because I spent so much time in this! Please 🥺🥺
I do have a video for making the switch to expert mode. When using line color off the secret is just learning the vibrations to know when to stop reeling to prevent line snap. When doing a refresh (switching to hard and back to expert to reset the fish) it will turn line color back on which is frustrating so I just leave my line color on. ruclips.net/video/HOkCDMSg-Vc/видео.html
I watched your video on how to catch the Great White many times. I followed your instructions, no Great White was landed. When I get him within 12’ to landing he will jump up, spit my bait in my face, snap my line as I was slowly bring him in, raising my pole up when water spits water up or lower if line turns ,pink or red, but this always happens again. You never address this Issue as to what to do when he does this. I am at at a loss.
You can catch them using any small fish, doesn't need to be on the grasshopper. I have been catching a lot using the minnow and targeting small swirls on South Korea 20 while trying to catch Batfish.
Well technically that would be a medium fish in freshwater. The smaller of the saltwater fish will get you more sharks. You can catch sharks on large fish but not as easily.
What I am telling the viewer is all they need to do is snap their wrist not swing their arm when trying to get the snap like a lot of the newer players tend to do.
If they stay in the same place or go farther out then you are probably not getting all your opposite pulls in. Make sure you pull opposite direction of the swim and straight back when they splash in place.
@Sid Reynders wow and you are already trying to catch sharks. That's awesome. Try the code HAPPYHOLIDAYS on the board and see if the holiday pole is still available

You can equip your gloves in the room on the right in the mirror. It's under the hat and glasses icon

No I would just target a small fish and switch between the bait until you find one that makes it green and the surrounding fish yellow or red.

Bait fishing with the worm is what I would use on South Korea.
Thank you for video! Quick question unrelated to this video:
Is it only possible to fish from a boat in multiplayer mode? I haven't seen any other way to fish from a boat in a certain location. Take care!
Boat fishing is available only on specific locations. It is the same for both multiplayer and single player.
@@TheVRFisherman Great, thank you for the reply!
Amazing and helpful content as always! 🦈
Thank you for these tips!
Shark Time, Baby! Yay ;)
Do you know how to quick release fish in pico 4? I have no idea what button to press
Can't seem to catch sharks, does it matter what level you are? Do you have to be level 20? By level I mean experience level not location.
Quick question unrelated to the video: What does fishing liscence level mean. I recently came back to the game after a little while and forgot
@tropical9584 as your XP increases, you gain more license levels, up to level 20. Different things unlock as your level grows. Level 16 unlocks huge fish, level 20 unlocks epic, and unique fish.
When you hook the fish, so you count the initial first run straight out as 1 of 2? Or do you only count the side to side runs?
Side to side runs only. The small first splash doesn't count.
@@TheVRFisherman thank you.
I always jump when i get a shark, it’s just so sudden, my heart starts hurting for like 2 seconds, dw it’s nothing serious.
It makes everyone jump the first few times.
Great stuff . Thanks for the great tips !!!
this pc only?? or pretty much the same in a quest 2??

@@TheVRFisherman do you prefer using the lure or the float on the bullhead?
I'm not sure what you mean by snaps. Is that how you get the green line? When do you snap?
When it jumps twitch your wrist opposite to make the line snap. You will hear the snap if you do it correctly
What would you recommend for a great white shark
??
Thank you sir 😎
Welcome 👍
Why do you hold the rod almost vertical?
Keeping tension and ease of direction pulls.
the way I caught a gummy shark which is epic was with a golden crawfish on float rod with the bopper that drifts and he attacked it himself not off another fish it was,how would you say .....cool
You're very lucky. I've had a great white snap my line. That's the only bragging rights I have
Can you share where to fish for Mako's? I can't find any 😓

I believe that is one of the issues from the most recent update they are working on. They said you will get all your credits and gear back.

How do you add them to your tann
You add them using the TV in the lodge.

When it is close like that, you need to reel and then stop over and over to prevent the red line.
I can’t seem to catch a shark idk if it’s bc I cant find a small green fish on a grasshopper?
You can catch them using any small fish, doesn't need to be on the grasshopper. I have been catching a lot using the minnow and targeting small swirls on South Korea 20 while trying to catch Batfish.
What level do you need to be to catch sharks?
Any level for sharks but you need to have good gear.
When reeling one hand is it a way to speed up the real?
No it's just 1 speed, you can slow down but can't reel as fast as 2 handed
Is it possible to do it with the rod b I have reel a but rod b
Yes, the rod just limits the cast distance, the reel is the important part to prevent line snapping.
Do you know how to reset your cast?
Not sure I understand the question, you can quick retrieve by pulling the thumbstic back then re-cast.
How do u quick release a fish
