@youneke Agree on the safety part, i think Tracey has said something needs to be done about catch fencing and he is spot on, unfortunately theres always the risk of another car bouncing back into the middle of the track like Dana's crash. It slightly callous but as it says on the ticket "motorsport is dangerous".

@youneke You don't just press the brakes when trying to avoid a crash on the ovals, your guaranteed to end up in the wall and cause another pile up if you do, all you can do is lift off and hope a gap appears, unfortunately for Dan and a few of the other guys/gal one didn't, Dan was just extremely unlucky.

My thoughts and prayers go to his wife and two young sons. Heartbreaking news about this very nice guy.

@youneke Disagree with you there, at indy he got well out of the way after J.R. went into the wall, he moved almost right on to the inside, along way from the crash/debris.

Nice advertisement. In the pile up it looked like he was late to press brakes.

@cocorocks88 No but he could have gone slow and low, it is evident from his win at Indianapolis that he disregards other players crashing infront of him and only wants the victory. Still may the lord rest his soul.

@cocorocks88 Well when I saw it it looked kinda selfish to me, like he was just happy he crashed and to get the victory, I may be wrong. But the drivers on a whole need to start being more cautious, even though it's a competitive sport, you don't want anyone getting hurt. They should cut the speeds of these cars and improve safety, no need to be going 230 plus..
