I got one a couple of weeks ago. The only thing I don't like is that there's not a cord hook/handle attached, which most vacuum cleaners have. Otherwise I'm very happy with it.
I would have at least wiped up the bulk of the throw up because now it is all on the roller brush and you are spreading it over the rest of the rug. How many times did you go over the rug?? A Rug Doctor home unit would have done that clean job in one time not several times. Either way cleaning rugs is a pain. I too have animals and they are always leaving something on the carpet/floors. I do think for any every day vacuum it is great. Good video, thanks
Thank you, I did remove the throw up prior to vacuuming. I did not go over the throw up part with the unit as that would ruin it and the rollers as you mentioned, I vacuumed all around it, then did that part of the rug only with the hose portion. I would not ruin my brand new vacuum especially on the first day that way haha!! I agree, a rug doctor or other cleaner would be a perfect way to make sure it's completely clean, but for what the Quantum X does on it's own I was pleasantly impressed. Thanks for your comment :)
Hi I have had a Dyson since they came out. I love the handheld piece that can extend and then it goes right back onto the vacuum. I use it for steps and for corners and the perimeter of rooms. I am in the market for a new vacuum and I am really considering this one but what do you think about the attachments having to be put on and off and stored? How do you feel about using it on steps and also do you have to ben down low to use the tube attachment on the corners tec of floors? PS I have wood floors and slate floors and a few area rugs. Thanks!
Hi B Connor! Great questions. The fact that the attachments are not connected to the vacuum and need to be put on and put away separately can get quite annoying if you are constantly switching during vacuuming. I like to do a whole room regular, and then do the corners and edges afterwards with the attachment. If that's how you do it then it's just fine and not that big a deal. Dragging the bag of attachments to each room isn't too bad either because they are light weight and the bag isn't big. Regarding having to bend down when cleaning corners and such, no you don't have to because they have multiple tubes to make it the length you desire, so you can be standing (unless you are extra tall) and not have to bend down to reach corners and edges. For the stairs, that is the part that is more difficult and becomes more tedious. The extension accordion tube is not very long, yes you can add the other attachments to make it longer but the higher/lower you go on the stairs the less easy it can be to vacuum them. Granted my stairs are narrow (not quite wide enough to put the vacuum on or it will fall off, so I have to put it at the bottom/top of the stairs), so that could be a disadvantage of my house rather than the vacuum itself. This is a great suggestion to do a follow-up video. Thanks and hope my answers help your decision!

@@heatherd5847 I've been blessed! It's still a really great vacuum, does an incredible job in sucking. I do have some "wishes" regarding it. 1. I wish there was a better way to suck up water/wet spots - because you can only use the tube, but none of the attachments that came with the vacuum have a good enough seal to the floor to create the suction you need (meaning they have spaces so there's too much airflow for large areas to easily be done). 2. I wish there was a spot for the cord so I didn't have to wrap it around the handle, and it would look like the price it is worth. 3. I wish it wasn't so heavy, but considering that you're pushing a heavy duty vacuum and water along with it and the dirt it accumulates - it makes sense why it has to be so heavy, or else they would have made it the same model as the Rainbow vacuums. 4. I wish it had a spot in the middle of the vacuum to help carry it up and down stairs, you have to hug it kind of strangely if you can't do it with 1 hand. Other than those things on my Wish List for it, I still love the vacuum. I still love how well it does clean/suck. I have had zero mechanical issues with it. I think it's a fantastic vacuum, even for the price - it's well worth the purchase if you're okay with the little things I've mentioned.

@23syim Thanks for checking it out! I still love it!! I do find there to be a feel of inconvenience in having to attach and detach the tube for extended reach but it's not terrible. The weight of the vacuum is sometimes a challenge, especially when I'm tired haha. What I havent been able to change is the swivel I get from it when I extend the vacuum for long reach under tables or beds. The company said to make sure it was locked in position - I did that but it still swivels left and right quite abruptly because of the water, but again not so bad that I have grown to hate the vacuum. The strength of the sucking is still perfect for feeling that it's getting all the gross stuff hidden deep. I also struggle with stairs because of its weight and size, I have smaller steps that are a bit steep so I have to use the extension which limits the amount i have to move the actual body of the vacuum. Hope this helps :)

Sorry it’s not the most convenient for steep stairs. We don’t have stairs in our house just a lot of carpet. I read somewhere that it can be a hassle going back and forth to empty the canister. Do You find that a hassle? And Is the canister easy to clean? I imagine just using soap and water after every use? I had a bag less vacuum but it was tedious having to clean it and its filters and let them air dry for 24 hours after every two to three uses to keep it at optimal. Wondering if I had to wash this guy out if it would be more convenient in that sense. Thanks for your input! 😍
@@23syim yes! So when I extend the vacuum and start pushing it and pulling it the weight of the water makes it easy for the body of the vacuum to turn left or right. On the video if you look closely at 3:58-4:00 you can see the way it swivels to the right when I'm trying to turn a little to the right. And again at 5:17 you can see it behind the words. Hope that helps :)
How is it holding up today? I have a Shark like it. But I keep seeing these and wounder how much better will it work. I paid close to 400 for the one I have now. Be nice to not have to wash out filters ect all time.

Hi Nancy, thank you for the question! It was a Black Friday deal, and they had it for a good while, and then they had another deal for Christmas with an extra $50 off from what even I bought it at! I bought it off Facebook, but you can go to their website to purchase it! They likely will have a deal going 😄 I have not had any issues with the cord. Sometimes what it could be is that they didnt push in the cord all the way into the vacuum so it seemed loose. That has happened to me a few times but I realized it was not pushed in all the way and it fixed it. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, so I understand fur issues!! It has done great picking up fur! You only need to make sure to clean out all the parts right away so you dont get gunky chunks of mud from the dirt accumulated 😁 hope this helps!!
Unfortunately you cannot, you must use the hose attachment. I believe the power head may have some electrical things that could cause it to short out if you do.

When you poured the water on the carpet can you use the power head to pick it up? I saw you use the hose attachment
Unfortunately you cannot, you must use the hose attachment. I believe the power head may have some electrical things that could cause it to short out if you do.
