You should really explore the EastSide across the bridge in illinois. East St Louis,Il.Completely different city, same crime,same issues but excellent schools. The EastSide has their own MLK Dr. Alot of Chinese rice houses. Please look it up.

I see alot of videos saying STL is so dangerous but I've been here my whole life and ain't never had a problem. I've lived on the north, downtown, Jennings, Baden, no problems. The violence is people living that life. It ain't random, it's who you're with or you did something. Most of Saint Louis is nice. If you would have seen the Southside it looks just like the North and West but no abandoned buildings and nice yards with actual stores. There's 2 Targets here and other big box stores. The Central West End is booming. All new buildings and people come from around the world because of Barnes Jewish Hospital and Wash U. This town has been here as long as New York and was the 2nd and 3rd largest city for most of the USA's history.

The violence is people living that life. It ain't random, it's who you're with or you did something. Most of Saint Louis is nice. If you would have seen the Southside it looks just like the North and West but no abandoned buildings and nice yards with actual stores. There's 2 Targets here and other big box stores. The Central West End is booming. All new buildings and people come from around the world because of Barnes Jewish Hospital and Wash U. This town has been here as long as New York and was the 2nd and 3rd largest city for most of the USA's history.
