Rare catch to see Gardena hauling contract with LAUSD again, it finally brought back memories and made my day today. I wonder why Long Beach didn’t do it, maybe because they need a break from it. I remember during the golden pre recycLA days, before 2017 republic/allied/ consolidated services from the Gardena yard used to operate all over west Los Angeles for commercial and LAUSD before Athens services occupied all of west Los Angeles except LAUSD. Here the video I filmed was at my old elementary school I graduated 7 years ago in 2017 called wish charter elementary school right where Orville wright middle is. In this area I remember seeing a consolidated disposal peterbilt 320 McNeilus contender Atlantic front loader, #8612 autocar ACX McNeilus CNG pacific front loader and OG allied waste services inc #8441 autocar wx64 heil half pack front loader got me hyped everytime they show up. Those were the golden days when we had diesel garbage trucks, republic services from Sun Valley and Gardena yard contracted with LAUSD and non LAUSD schools before American reclamation and Ware disposal occupied their contract. But sadly Republic services/consolidated from Long Beach and Gardena hauling have been losing lots of contracts with different cities all around Los Angeles and the county.

It was rare to see Gardena do LAUSD again
