Truck filming of Los Angeles CA

Hi I am Abir I appreciate filming trucks around Los Angeles plus some other places around America. I’ll be using this account for truck spotting and transferring my posts from Instagram to here. I’ll be posting my Lego technic trucks I have and make a video of it. Favorite kinds of trucks for different jobs is heavy hauling, waste and recycling, industrial, service utility and construction.

Rare catch to see Gardena hauling contract with LAUSD again, it finally brought back memories and made my day today. I wonder why Long Beach didn’t do it, maybe because they need a break from it. BMMAK/Apex disposal had contract from LAUSD until 2011 and 2012 when consolidated disposal/republic services took over them. Unfortunately had a hard time looking it up on google when they showed republic services dumping an apex dumpster on the first day with LAUSD in 2012. They went out of business to republic services has that address now.
I never got to see it, I wish somebody from the past could film it. That yard is used as a container yard for semi trucks

Yeah they have a MRF but a big yard in Fullerton! Ware does Lennox from the east Los Angeles yard

The transfer station here in Las Vegas NV is completely different. The trucks are up on a platform and the garbage falls down into a pit. Customers can come in and dump large items like couches and large debris like concrete chunks. No need to stand outside of a gate to film. The larges landfill in the world is also just outside of Las Vegas that Republic owns. It is good for the next 250 years. It is massive, miles across in the middle of the dessert in a canyon. I was there often 2002-2008. Guarded 24/7

Republic services consolidated disposal used to run the entire marina Del Rey but now WM has it all! But there are some areas that UWS runs where waste management has it!

This has to be Del Aire. Republic is still contracted with Hawthorne for quite a while. Thankfully
It’s part of the city of Hawthorne too Wiseburn Del Air
Not fond of the rebranded Consolidated trucks, but from the looks, the truck caught fire. So the sign board was probably wasted. Still a decent amount of light blue Consolidated trucks. That’s just epic
Luckily there is one classic ford F150 scout truck that’s white. But the supervisor in his ford pick up caught me driving in the yard, he said “we don’t allow regular vehicles in the yard.” But he was nice
But all these old consolidated trucks are rebranded with republic services boards.
