Also their global old skool R&B hit "Left Right" which was ranked one of the top 100 songs of 2023 and GRL GVNG (Girl Gang). The GRL GVNG mv is shorter than the actual song but the MV is FIRE.
XG is Xpop a new genre concept by XGALX from AVEX JAPAN 🇯🇵. XG stands for Xtraordinary Girls. They are absolutely the Dream Team. These seven Japanese members were meticulously selected by their Executive Producer, Simon “JAKOPS”. Simon is a Japanese/Korean former Kpop idol who was born in the US. XG is short for Xtraordinary Girls, their label is XGALX, which was more or less specifically created for them. Their debut was March 2022, they are still quite new. They are seven Japanese, age 18 to 22 as of now, who are based in South Korea and trained with the KPop idol methods ... to then perform NOT K-Pop, but instead mostly western style 90s/early 2000s rap and R&B oriented tracks. *Modern Old School*, if this makes sense. Their main songs are all completely in English. They also venture into 90s/y2k pop and club sounds, and their rapline and vocalists also have separate series showcasing them specifically, XG Tape and XG Vox respectively. Officially there are 4 rappers (Jurin, Cocona, Maya, Harvey) and 3 vocalists (Chisa, Juria, Hinata), but the rappers all can sing as well.

I mean if you want to get technical, XG’s sound is not your typical k-pop sound and they’re not technically k-pop. All of their released songs are in English so it’s generally easier to listen to.

You should definitely check out more of them i would recommend "left right" which has r&b vibe to it and also "GRL GVNG" the mv doesn't have the full version so i would recommend the ASL ver of it also if you are interested in the rapping react to "galz xypher" but it doesn't have any subtitles so if you wanna know what they are saying there are color coded videos if not the video should be fine👍🏻💕

You've haven't heard anything yet. They have couple of series that show how talented this group is. There is the Vox series which focuses on the 3 vocal members. Then there is the Tape series that showcases (arguably) the 4 best female rappers in the kpop world and (possibly) worldwide. Last is the Move series that shows you that these girls could be one of the best female dance groups. You would be very pressed to find any male/female group that is very strong in all three areas. FYI, when you check out Tape #2 just to let you know that Cocona (#1 rapper) was 16 at the time and Maya (#2 rapper) was 17.
