Big Chris, Andy, Justine Colleen are the three best too. Very professional. I never seen someone as perfectionist as Andy. Big Chris is super talented too, very polyvalent barber, and Justine is a pretty perfectionnist too.
I’m almost done with barbering school and I’ve watched about an hour of hair cutting videos a night for over a year. This is hands down the best barbering video I’ve seen. I also use the Oster Stim-U-Lax massager. My fellow barbering students scoffed but every clinic customer raves about it. We’re about two months out from graduation and almost everyone uses one now. The old ways really work. I wish you had credited the barber; I would love to send him a picture of us all brandishing our massagers to him, showing him and Beardbrand that your videos do make a difference and are molding the next generation of barbers. Keep it up!
He’s probably one of my favorite Barbers from this channel. He was courteous, had cool equipment, did great work, and seemed to really love being a Barber.
Beardbrand seriously where do you guys get your trims at? And is there anyone on your team or watching this vid that has a good barber in Reno, NV or better yet Fernley?
This barber knows his craft. I’m getting to the point that my beard will need a trim and will not let my local barbers do it. I’ve taken a large chunk of time growing this a don’t want it ruined in minutes by an unproven clip joint. I’d make a day trip or two to get to a guy like this fellow.
This is real barbering!! Simple tools and amazing talent. Growing up in Europe I watched my dad masterfully create art just like this gentleman. Few people have the blend of talent and passion to be good. Barbering isn't a fast food like experience. Slow down and enjoy life and good shave or hair cut you deserve it. God bless !
Wow this barber reminds me so much of my late Barber (God rest his soul), and when he got out the massaging tool and the cologne to the back of the neck, Ohh man! the memories.
Omar Amat it's funny how a barber we know and trust, one that we confide in and talk to becomes a friend. When they pass, it's just like losing a dear friend. Condolences bro
This is a great barber, he explained all my issues with the barbers i have dealt with and still deal with now. The hump hair and then the frizzy hairs on the side, are my two main issues. I need to find one of these barbers
This is one of the greatest channels on YT imho and this is cause of the nice and positive attitude and the love and passion they put into their videos und products. I really think Eric made a great choice when he quit his old job and started his own business. You can really feel how alive and real he is - and the other guys from BB, too ofcourse.
I started doing my sideburns/beard line this way and I love it. I shave my head with a 0 on the clippers and it seems to be working well. Sweet barber man.
Fantastic work and the barber obviously knows his trade. Seems to take extra care with each and every cut of the scissors. That was very satisfying to watch!
Brings me back in the day. 3 of my Uncle's & my brother were old school barbers. My Uncle's are all passed & my brother retired. I was gonna go along w/keeping the trade in the family going.
Apparently The Grand Barbershop in Austin has since closed down. Did they reopen in another location? Or, could you tell me where Gabriel is working out of now? Always looking for a good barber. Thanks.
@Puerto Rican Gringo Hey brother, if you have the occasion, go to beard brand and ask for Andy, Big Chris, Justine. They are the three bests barbers, very professional.
He killed it man. You're haircut looks awesome brother. Other "barbers" should take note. Hands down one of the best cuts I've seen. Beard looks good as well man. Beard on!
Great cut, jealous of all the great barbershops y'all have down in ATX. It's amazing how rounding off the bottom corners of the beard really changes the look and gives it less of a squared off appearance. Nice shirt at the end!
This is fantastic video. I don’t know where this guy is from, but I live near Springfield Missouri. If you know any fantastic barbers in this area, please give me a message.
Wow, He did a great job, to me he was the consummate "quiet professional" if Eric hadn't been asking him questions he would've been almost totally quiet and absorbed in his work! That guy knows what he's doing!
A shear over 6" is ideal for working scissor over comb or creating softer lines on cuts. The more times you open and close a shear, the greater chance of irregularity in your cut. A 5" shear never has the versatility of a 6.5 or7"
this guy knows what the he's doing. Right on when he says that using thinning scissors on the top fucks up your lid. I don't know why hairdressers love using them
Any viewers or Beardbrand know of a shop like this in Phoenix, AZ? This place and Cut & Grind are totally different and better than anything I've been able to find.
Smart as a carrot, twice as tasty. I really like the style of the Barbershop you use in your videos; a really friendly, professional bunch. Nice! Keep up the good work. Much love, Adam Bamboo Beard Co.
This guy is now on my bucketlist. A real barber that is straight up no B.S guy. We need more videos of this guy please.
nolove85es I agree 100%
Yes please. Did he say where he was located?

Beardbrand sure knows where to find awesome barbers. I like this guy...lots of passion for his craft.
Gabriel is definitely one of the most passionate barbers we've filmed with; he's got some great stories too!
- Jack
Beardbrand seriously where do you guys get your trims at? And is there anyone on your team or watching this vid that has a good barber in Reno, NV or better yet Fernley?
He is passionate thats for shure its awsome to see
Dude definitely has a passion for his craft!
Gabriel is one of most passionate barbers we've filmed with on the channel, for sure!

I got complimented on how I trim my beard the other day. These videos not only help you fall asleep, but help you learn too.
Wow this barber reminds me so much of my late Barber (God rest his soul), and when he got out the massaging tool and the cologne to the back of the neck, Ohh man! the memories.

That barber is a scientist. Adding new meaning to cutting hair.

Barber talking about looking after your beard. If ever there was a "Do you know who I am?" moment. Preaching to the choir! 😁
Now that is a nice cut! Awesome barber! Thanks for sharing with us
Glad you dig it!
We're going to try to film more with him in the future.
- Jack
I started doing my sideburns/beard line this way and I love it. I shave my head with a 0 on the clippers and it seems to be working well. Sweet barber man.
Thank you! This barber broke it down and explained the craft.
I start barber school tomorrow!!!
Hell ya man. Good luck with school and I know Gabriel said he's looking to bring on more barbers as they continue to grow.
Eric Bandholz thanks I appreciate it. and that would be awesome. I'll be workin hard 👊
Everytime I say "ya" you should drink. :D
great spot, Gabriel is the man. I only get my haircuts there now.
Maybe one day we'll catch you in there Thomas. Or just email Jack and schedule a time.
how much do you pay?
Eric Bandholz totally gonna do that now
That's not too bad, I expected way more. thanks.
That was a great haircut and beard trim. Followed up with a massage of the shoulders and Eric was very chill.
This is one of the best haircuts/barber video ive seen in awhile
Fantastic work and the barber obviously knows his trade. Seems to take extra care with each and every cut of the scissors. That was very satisfying to watch!
Glad to hear that you liked it!
Gabriel's shop is very old fashioned. Each barber takes a ton of pride in their work and in their tools.
- Jack
Hats down for this barber, proper old school technique 👏👏
this is one of the best barbers on this channel, hands down
this barber knows what the fuck he's doing
Gabriel is the real deal.
- Jack
No joke, dude's got skills!
I need this barber around my way. Excellent work! Looking good Eric. Your wifey is gonna be happy tonight 😆
If I had hair I'd look for barbers like the ones you guys feature on this channel for sure! Sick work!
The Magic Man scared the piss out of Eric. "WHAT.....NO GUARDS ON YOUR CLIPPERS" ? Only to get an excellent cut!
Best freaking barber I've ever seen!!!!!!!💯💯
Brings me back in the day.
3 of my Uncle's & my brother were old school barbers.
My Uncle's are all passed & my brother retired.
I was gonna go along w/keeping the trade in the family going.
Man, he flips those scissors around like a butterfly knife or a karambit! You can tell he's very comfortable with them. Rad
Matthew Kirk what’s your cs go rank?
Now it looks better. beautiful beard and color.
I liked how he explained, it was also what he likes regarding on how he does it.
Tight! Great cut and trim! This barber really knows what he's doing. Great video, keep'em coming! 👍
If you keep watching, we'll keep 'em coming!
Thanks for the support!
- Jack
Came out great. You should definitely go back to this style.
finally a barber that knows how to fade properly and explains it too. barbers take notes. anyone can pop on a clipper on a machine and start fading.
Whoah! Those beard scissors! I cut my wallpaper with a pair like them!
This barber is a pro
helmut mcqueen Gabriel is definitely one awesome barber!
- Jack
Damn this guy is good. Would like to see more of his cuts.
Apparently The Grand Barbershop in Austin has since closed down. Did they reopen in another location? Or, could you tell me where Gabriel is working out of now? Always looking for a good barber. Thanks.
Ditto.I’m looking for my first beard trim and wish we had someone like this in San Antonio?Gabriel, where ya at?
@Puerto Rican Gringo
Hey brother, if you have the occasion, go to beard brand and ask for Andy, Big Chris, Justine. They are the three bests barbers, very professional.
5:36 the way he flips those scissors 😲
first time i can say i want to attend a barbershop just because of their music... and maybe how good their barbers are.
One of the better cuts and trim I have seen.Tight
Glad you like it!
- Jack
Erich do more videos with this barber, he knows a lot of secret, great experience
Very sharp! Sounds like that guy has a lot of knowledge. I think a squarer corner suits Eric even better but can't deny he did a great job.
A pleasure to watch, you all look very dapper
thats the kind of barber i need...that dudes legit
This barber is a pro. I wish I could find a guy like this in the San Francisco bay area
Gabriel is the man, would love to see more videos from him.
Where does he work at?
Love that scissor cut beard! Love the old school and the passion of the barber.
The Melvins playing in the background made this video much better haha
About how much would all that cost? Haircut, beard trim, and massage?
Very talented barber and your beard looks 10x better!
He did a pretty fucking good job in my opinion great haircut and beard cut wish there were more barbers like this
Amazing cut, amazing Barber, but do people normally strop a disposable shavette
Now that's a barber that knows about hair and beard!
Glad you liked the video!
Gabriel (the barber) definitely knows his stuff.
- Jack
I would HAPPILY pay this gentleman $100 for a beard trim and haircut 💈
Would love to see more videos off this guy fab learnt so much off him
Much friendlier than Eric's last barber. :)
Ah, you're talking about Steve. Yeah, he's a no nonsense kind of guy, but he still gives a great cut.
- Jack
He killed it man. You're haircut looks awesome brother. Other "barbers" should take note. Hands down one of the best cuts I've seen. Beard looks good as well man. Beard on!
I really dig the old school style of this barber
Amazing and informational video. Barber in training here, this barber had great things to say. Thanks for the video.
Best barber you’ve showcased!
Great cut, jealous of all the great barbershops y'all have down in ATX.
It's amazing how rounding off the bottom corners of the beard really changes the look and gives it less of a squared off appearance.
Nice shirt at the end!
You're right, we are a little spoiled with how many great barbershops we have here in town!
Good eye noticing the shirt as well!
- Jack
Best cut I've seen you get so far
I love the epic mustache with the shorter beard. Maybe that's what I'll try after I grow an epic beard.
He looks very good! You're a good barber!
That dude was legit.
Ya, Gabriel is definitely on the quiet side of things and really takes in the world before speaking. He's built a cool thing at Grand.
The real Edward Scissorhands right here ladies and gentlemen.
This guy has not been back on here in awhile it’s been almost two years since he has been on here wow guys
pretty sure this place is closed, might be why. Was all excited when i searched it up and found it near me, but it says "permanently closed"
Not going to lie. I Thought he was being extra when he said he didn’t use clipper guards. But he did the damn thing on this haircut.
Man got a shoulder massage after his trim the barbers is the goat
dang those are sum big ✂️
Go big or go home.
Gabriel is an old school barber, he doesn't mess around.
- Jack
A shear over 6" is ideal for working scissor over comb or creating softer lines on cuts. The more times you open and close a shear, the greater chance of irregularity in your cut. A 5" shear never has the versatility of a 6.5 or7"
And yet again, so jealous of having an awesome barber anywhere near me.
It's relaxing just watching this
I particularly enjoyed this barber
Unbelievable skill. Super inspiring
Best haircut you've had dude, suits you
good to see David de Gea enjoyed his trim
noticed bob in the background haha never noticed that before
this guy knows what the he's doing. Right on when he says that using thinning scissors on the top fucks up your lid. I don't know why hairdressers love using them
Gabriel and the barbers at his shop have a really old fashioned way of cutting and trimming. Sometimes things were just better back in the day.
- Jack
Any viewers or Beardbrand know of a shop like this in Phoenix, AZ? This place and Cut & Grind are totally different and better than anything I've been able to find.
This guy is amazing
One of the best cuts and trims yet! Eric B. KNOWS his looks and smashes metro!
Also cutting dry hair will cause more split ends, right?
Very solid haircut. Well done.
Glad you liked it! Gabriel is one great barber!
- Jack
I enjoy watching this barber
This guy is a HAIR WHISPERER ✂️
Really good barber, I enjoyed watching him.

That was a nice clean fade!
Real barber.
I enjoy watching this barber 💈
damn his beard has never looked this good before
Looking sharp. Straight razors are great!
Straight razors ARE great!
They definitely give the closest shave.
- Jack
That guy is a great barber
Smart as a carrot, twice as tasty. I really like the style of the Barbershop you use in your videos; a really friendly, professional bunch. Nice!
Keep up the good work.
