A cool concept for a Digimon game is instead of choosing a particular Digimon you are instead choosing a field and you randomly get a Digimon from the said field.
A little extra note for Digimon-newcomers, this explains those Digimon evolutions that don't seem to make much sense at first (like how a flower fan evolve into a bird.)
Fields are Digimon Families Same field = similar evolutions Nature Spirits (Earth), Deep Savers (Aquatic), Nightmare Soldiers (Dark), Wind Guardians (Avians), Virus Busters (Light), Dark Area (graveyard of deleted data), Dragon's Roar (Dragons/Reptiles/Fire), Metal Empire (mechanical), Jungle Troopers (Plant/Insects), Unknown (strange/mysterious/mutants), Unclassified
The Digimon Field remind me of the Samsara or Six Paths which are places where all beings reside in through reincarnation. The six realms/paths are six levels where hell is the lowest and the gods live at the top; from bottom to top: hell, hungry ghosts, animals, humans, demi-gods and gods. The Virus Busters seem to resemble the god realm at the top and Dark Area is hell, while Nightmare Soldiers are represented by hungry ghosts.
Such a colorful and entertaining video! Possibly your best work so far. The production, audio, editing, and attention to detail just keeps getting better and better.
Imagine a new Digimon Anime Series, where instead of the Crests, a group of kids are partnered with their own Digimons from the eight Fields. Dragon's Roar = 🔴🐲🔥 Nature Spirits = 🟤🦁🪨 Deep Savers = 🔵🐬🌊 Wind Guardians = ⚪🐦☁ Jungle Troopers = 🟢🪲🍃 Metal Empire = ⚫🤖⚙ Nightmare Soldiers = 🟣😈🌑 and Virus Busters = 🟡👼💡

Wow, I've watched all the anime and played several Digimon games over the past 10+ years and I didn't know about fields at all xD I feel like this topic is very unrepresented in Digimon media (or I was just very good at dodging it xD)
Absolutely the best Digimon informative channel around, rly enjoyable, too! But you just have to work on your proununciations in the english language :P your frequent cuts are well placed, but non cohersive (space to improve!)
Now I am interested by your video in Digimon again after 12 years it is somewhat similar and at the same time different than Pokemon which I am a hardcore fan of.
@@DSWK_ in Digimon World Data Squad this is very much the game mechanic. Each field has its own pair where they will deal and take more damage to and from each other. Some pairings make more sense than the others, like VB - NSo and JT - ME. DS - WG pairing is funny to me since it seems like they're paired as non-land organisms, one underwater and the other roams the sky. Idk how DR - NSp is getting paired except for the fact that in the first anime, Agumon and Gabumon (as well as their respective trainers) are portrayed as rivals. It's a stretch since the same dynamic is not seen until Frontier with the Agunimon and Lobomon line

the jungle troopers one isn't a winged insect with a large horn. It's the horn of a kabutomush and jaws kuwagamushi over laid on top of each other. Mostly likely cause insects in japan are synonymous with them.
