Hey my friend just 1 suggestion: next time actually show the anti-squat and ant-kick adjustments of the pins and how to change out the inserts to make the changes your talking about. Not everybody knows how or where to change both. Great Video.

Differential height has a similar affect as antisquat. High Diff (more axle bind) in the rear of the car is less squat on throttle, more traction, better at high speed bumps. Low diff (less bind) allows for a more free suspension movement on throttle, car is a little looser, better corner speed (by rear steer) and better low speed bump absorbance. All this is due to the bind created by the outdrive and axle joint. I believe most cars "personality" comes from the outdrive and axle connection. outdrive hardness and the size of the axle pin and ball has an affect on axle bind as well. I keep saying 1/8 cars need a diff height adjustment for the reasons above, not for the reason that 1/10 cars have it, they have it because to control and have similar axle bind from drastic ride height changes going from carpet/turf to dirt tracks. Carpet: high diff, dirt: low diff. When i went from the Kyosho 7.5 to the mugen mbx4, the 7.5 was amazing in the bumps, i struggled with the mbx4 in the bumps until i shaved 2 or 3mm on the bottom of the bulk head to lower the diff. Luckly on the mbx4 the arm mounts did not connect to the bulkhead, so that roll center remained the same. I did loose a little up-travel in the shocks and i was able to raise the ball cup position on the rear tower to a slightly higher hole to keep the roll center the same as when the bulkhead was stock.

Yes its nice to see people talk about this. Diff height is absolutely a huge deal. Most cars have the diffs wayy too low however. Lower diffs will have less binding with the outdrives whilst rolling and thats what often makes them easier to drive. Higher diffs will have the binding happening on ride height and will resist roll. This is a huge deal and higher diffs will always result in better corner speed especially the higher the grip gets.
I would however argue against the diff height having a similar impact to anti-squat since most impact of changing the diff height can be seen in the roll of the car and not so much on the pitch motion of the car as it is with anti-squat.

Great video, I do disagree with your claim that antisquat doesn't change the force going through the tires. I think it does because as the car squats, the center of mass moves and when this happens the weight distribution will change. Also antisquat lengthens the wheel base as the suspension compresses again changing the weight balance and hence force. It's a small effect but it does happen.

Yes that is true but the effect of that is so small it will have no effect at all on the car.

I appreciate you making this video . I watched it after thinking at the track , what can i do to reduce soo much squat in the back of my 1/10 wheeler

The rear antisquat i feel shouts the buggy forward more . As it wont squat as much .
On my b74.1 on the front i run alot of pin angel to calm down the front .

I'm really just starting off in rc, but I enjoy the content and the great explanations. Gives me something to try whenever the tracks open up again. How do these changes compare with 1/10 scale and 1/8 scale ... for instance if you change anti-squat by 1 degree is there more or less of an effect on 1/10 vs 1/8 scale?

I would argue that on tracks with smoother surfaces like 10th scale tracks usually are there is a smaller effect but it is still definitely noticeable.
