I hear you, when I got mine, it sat for about a month before mustered up the courage to use it and I’ve been using it ever since I love it makes things so easy and fast. It you haven’t checked how I make pork ribs you most check it out. FYI, you’ll when is safe to open when the little valve drops down. What I have learned is that you could throw the pot across and it will not open if it’s still pressure inside. Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback
This video shows how to open it as well. Please just watch again as I explained when is safe to open after it's done. Kind of hard to explain since I'm currently on the road.
