As a resident of Thessaloniki and someone who was born and lived all his life here, all I have to say is that you did a great job, but Thessaloniki has a lot more things to offer. Thanks for visiting our city. Nice video :) Unbiased opinion about Thessaloniki: Many ugly buildings, very few beautiful buildings, unfortunately we destroyed the good ones Amazing view with the sea, amazing sunsets and walks by the sea Amazing locations with mountains around and of course the sea Not very polite people and service, comparing to centre & north Europe. Great long history and culture Bad roads, bad pavements, no maintenance on anything Great food and taverns, bakeries, coffee shop, bars. Almost no green, very few parks, very few trees, we cut the trees somehow, don't ask why. Amazing destinations near by, Halkidiki, Olympus mountain, forests. Rude taxi drivers, likely this is changing with the new generation No metro yet( it supposed to be finished 10 years ago) no tram, no sea boats roots to eastern Thessaloniki. Great for 4-5 days holidays. Not very great for someone who's looking to live in a european standard metropolitan city. Yia mas
Feta + Spinach in our Pie is called Spanako-Turo-Pita but, um, yeah, good luck with that. Let's leave it to Spanako-Pita. 😆 5€ for a beer just because you went to the most expensive Cafeterias in Thessaloniki. Those that are situated on that line only are expensive. If you could go 10 meters deeper without Sea View, you would pay 2€. By the way, interesting that you could pronounce Greek words so good. Usually none does. Especially words which include letters like TH ( Θ Theeta ) Thessaloniki or Nymphe. ( Μee Φee ).

@@Ghanfort thank you!
Thessalonians are in a region to the south of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki was the name of Alexander's (The Great) sister and the region is what is known now as the Greek - Macedonia.
@@giolybe4223 I dont know if you are a native Greek or not, but you are referring to the "Thessalians" (Thessaly), Paul refers to the "Thessalonians" in Greek "Θεσσαλονικείς" (Thessalonikeis).
From the original text : "Παῦλος καὶ Σιλουανὸς καὶ Τιμόθεος τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ Θεσσαλονικέων ἐν Θεῷ πατρὶ καὶ Κυρίῳ Ἰησοῦ Χριστῷ· χάρις ὑμῖν καὶ εἰρήνη ἀπὸ Θεοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν καὶ Κυρίου Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ"
@@Ghanfort έχεις δίκιο, η μετάφραση thessalonians είναι για τους Θεσσαλονικείς και όχι τους Θεσσαλούς.
Hope to see you in Volos city one day 😉
Ahhhh we will add it to the list!
I like Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Brings back memories of a beautiful spring day dining out alfresco. A Very very nice warm evening and a very tasty meal which I shall never forget.
I got mildly drunk and it was a lot of fun.
Thanks for watching 🥰
@@dabbleandtravel Thanks for the thanks 😊
Have you tried a good quality neutral density filter on the sky?
Or maybe a "polarising filter" on the sky?

Guys, when did you visit the vineyard? Late October? don't suppose you know the name of the grapes in the vineyard?
Late October, can’t remember sorry!!
Did you feel safe driving around Greece? My cruise is ending in Athens and I thought about driving around mainland Greece and up to Thessaloniki. I've heard from some Americans that spent time in Greece that they didn't feel very safe and they locals didn't treat them well but I take everything with a grain of salt.
Great video, thanks for sharing! :) Could you share the tour company you used to see the water buffalo?
Thanks so much! Ah I’m sorry I’m not sure exactly who the company was but you can contact visit Thessaloniki on Instagram and they should be able to tell you!
Thanks for visiting our city. Nice video :)
Unbiased opinion about Thessaloniki:
Many ugly buildings, very few beautiful buildings, unfortunately we destroyed the good ones
Amazing view with the sea, amazing sunsets and walks by the sea
Amazing locations with mountains around and of course the sea
Not very polite people and service, comparing to centre & north Europe.
Great long history and culture
Bad roads, bad pavements, no maintenance on anything
Great food and taverns, bakeries, coffee shop, bars.
Almost no green, very few parks, very few trees, we cut the trees somehow, don't ask why.
Amazing destinations near by, Halkidiki, Olympus mountain, forests.
Rude taxi drivers, likely this is changing with the new generation
No metro yet( it supposed to be finished 10 years ago) no tram, no sea boats roots to eastern Thessaloniki.
Great for 4-5 days holidays. Not very great for someone who's looking to live in a european standard metropolitan city.

The Greece is good and I'm from Greece
Hey!
Are there any rules about flying drones in Greece or were you able to do it without any trouble?
Feta + Spinach in our Pie is called Spanako-Turo-Pita but, um, yeah, good luck with that. Let's leave it to Spanako-Pita. 😆
5€ for a beer just because you went to the most expensive Cafeterias in Thessaloniki.
Oooo thanks for the tips! 🥰
