Its because of their line distribution ,imagine getting less lines for almost 8years because pd always said that your voice not suite this song or part despite having large vocal range .and getting less lines in every genre of song whether its ballad or pop or anything .he clearly think his voice is not suitable for any song.

The fact is most people get less happiness from listening to Jungkook sing for the fortieth time (he still has an amazing voice) than when Jin gets approx. 2 secs. As a vocal teacher, Jin has one the best voices in the group. Now I’m not saying the rest of the guys don’t have talent, I’m just saying FOR ME his voice is so soothing and can go to so many ranges with ease and balance. He is an AMAZING vocalist. He should stand tall proud💜💜💜.

In 2016 I was searching for mukbangs and then (what I came to learn was was eatJin) popped up. So I watched it, then searched up Jin and found out he was in a kpop band called BTS! Now they changed me for the better as I used to be so narrow minded and insincere is my actions and now I’d describe myself as a really nice and kind person. Jin is a vocal powerhouse, and he needs to start seeing this before I learn korean just to scold him 😂😭😔...

It’s so weird to me that Seokjin thinks his voice is not “emotional” or “powerful” because those are the exact words I always use to describe it. I get that he’s a humble person and suffers from insecurities like many of us but I wish it were easier for him to accept how amazing his voice truly is and how many people he’s moved with it. And Seokjin, you have THE widest vocal range in BTS, not “one of the widest”. Also BigHit needs to do better if Seokjin is out here thinking that Butterfly, a song where he barely got proper lines, is the song that suits him best. I hope we can see some solo activities for him soon because he isn’t given nearly enough within the group.

He's humble to a fault. I think he doubts his vocal abilities because of the never-ending critique he receives from self-proclaimed "experts" while real music pros unanimously praise his voice color, his vocal range and his unravelled ability to convey emotions
Yes. I agree that he has the widest range from the group. He actually can reach V's deep voice and jimin/jk's high notes. It's just that they have different ways on how to control their voices. He is my bias and it's sad to know that he under estimates himself when it comes to singing. Jin has been praised countless times by experts and fans because his powerful voice and his ability to communicate emotions through his voice. No matter how much praised he is, always the humblest.
The fact is that we when Jin says that he hides his dark side from the Army's and we often tell him that no he can share anything with us we will understand him . But when he does no one understands him . He always tires to be confident for us Army's but somewhere inside he is filled with self doubt. He tries to let it go with a smile outside for us but within he is this . This is time to understand him tell him that we stand by him and support him and love him . Encourage him as he encourages us that we are just awesome . Rather than taking out on him or being angry at him for saying such thing try to understand he is also a human at the end he also like us goes through phases of self doubt . What we are required to do it somehow convey to him that how emotional his voice is that it makes us cry everytime and how powerful his high notes are that it can make the ceiling break . Hoping that his management and members help him also realize this. Crossing my fingers the self-doubt is not coming from the fact that they tell him songs doesn't suit his voice or that they find another member who is better to sing a part..which is apparently their process. It makes sense but at some point they need to fight for variety in their songwriting to feature him as well.

Exactly , even if the members themselves decide on the line distribution, we cant expect him to be satisfied with his work all that much since theres very little contribution by him in many songs., I m glad he finally opened up regarding his view on this topic. Its easy to shrug off his deficit of lines by saying bts songs dont truly match his vocal palette but then when will it ? Its been so long into their career and the fact that he himself doesnt feel like he had a perfect vocal match with any of their songs says a lottt. Not enough people are talking about the great job JK did conducting this interview. He took his role seriously and I think that helped Jin open up more. I love this whole interaction. I can totally relate to Jin. He looks like a confident and bright person with no problems in the outside, but deep inside he has so many things in mind. Once he gets to sit with a person he's comfortable with he can open up his heart and all the things he is troubled with, or just the thoughts running in his mind. Sometimes we just need someone who is willing to listen and understand us. Im happy with how Jungkook interviewed him. For me Jin is very talented and humble. He is capable of so many things. Jin's voice is my favorite in BTS...It stands out ....He looks and sounds like an angel! I love all of the vocal line ...but those high notes and his distintive sound evokes strong emotions and warms my heart....and Jk's voice is not short-stepping! To be honest I almost cry when I heard Epiphany for the first time. All the raw emotion Jin poured in that song is just incredible. I'm glad Jungkook always be there to remind his hyung that he's an amazing person. Jin saying his vocal range is uncertain in the team makes me so sad. Like they've been together for 7-8 years and his voice is STILL uncertain. 😣 Jin has a very emotional voice, that it really captivates all the feelings his songs/lines wanted to portray. Knowing the stories behind his songs makes it greater. That's why Abyss still breaks me, knowing that he came to a point of doubting his skills, if he is deserving of all these achievements. All of them are hardworking, but we know how he doubles all his efforts to match with his members. He knows his shortcomings, weaknesses but he still shows us his best. It's just saddening to know that there are people in the fandom that thinks Jin is dispensable, and always points out his weaknesses. Not only Jin gets this treatment but other members as well, especially the hyung line. He has said in their interviews how he viewed himself as less skilled because he knows how other people in the fandom think of him. BTS won't be BTS if they're not 7. I think behind all of Jin's confidence, he's hiding a lot of insecurities. Just like a lot of people do, Jin is putting up a front not for himself but for us ARMY. Its because of their line distribution ,imagine getting less lines for almost 8years because pd always said that your voice not suite this song or part despite having large vocal range .and getting less lines in every genre of song whether its ballad or pop or anything .he clearly think his voice is not suitable for any song.

In 2016 I was searching for mukbangs and then (what I came to learn was was eatJin) popped up. So I watched it, then searched up Jin and found out he was in a kpop band called BTS! Now they changed me for the better as I used to be so narrow minded and insincere is my actions and now I’d describe myself as a really nice and kind person. It’s so weird to me that Seokjin thinks his voice is not “emotional” or “powerful” because those are the exact words I always use to describe it. I get that he’s a humble person and suffers from insecurities like many of us but I wish it were easier for him to accept how amazing his voice truly is and how many people he’s moved with it. And Seokjin, you have THE widest vocal range in BTS, not “one of the widest”.
Also BigHit needs to do better if Seokjin is out here thinking that Butterfly, a song where he barely got proper lines, is the song that suits him best.
I hope we can see some solo activities for him soon because he isn’t given nearly enough within the group.

Hoping that his management and members help him also realize this. Crossing my fingers the self-doubt is not coming from the fact that they tell him songs doesn't suit his voice or that they find another member who is better to sing a part..which is apparently their process. As a army for couple years. what I think is during the past 8 yrs, his part is cutting smaller and smaller, even his MC skill was despise as 'inexperience' by a group member! so how he has confident? I repeat to watch this video again and again, and feel so sad.

Not enough people are talking about the great job JK did conducting this interview. He took his role seriously and I think that helped Jin open up more. I love this whole interaction. They are having such a candid conversation. I also love that JK was constantly encouraging Jin whenever he put himself down

I can totally relate to Jin. He looks like a confident and bright person with no problems in the outside, but deep inside he has so many things in mind. Once he gets to sit with a person he's comfortable with he can open up his heart and all the things he is troubled with, or just the thoughts running in his mind. Sometimes we just need someone who is willing to listen and understand us. Im happy with how Jungkook interviewed him. For me Jin is very talented and humble. He is capable of so many things.
Just do your best love. Always look back to what you have achieved and strive to become a better version of yourself not someone else. Don't say that you're getting older, say that you're getting wiser. You're not alone. We ARMYs are also getting wiser with you. Jin's voice is my favorite in BTS...It stands out ....He looks and sounds like an angel! I love all of the vocal line ...but those high notes and his distintive sound evokes strong emotions and warms my heart....and Jk's voice is not short-stepping! In fact, to me both voices are complimentary of each other ...and I wish they would collaborate on something...just the two of them!😊

To be honest I almost cry when I heard Epiphany for the first time. All the raw emotion Jin poured in that song is just incredible. Jin has a very emotional voice, that it really captivates all the feelings his songs/lines wanted to portray. Knowing the stories behind his songs makes it greater. That's why Abyss still breaks me, knowing that he came to a point of doubting his skills, if he is deserving of all these achievements. All of them are hardworking, but we know how he doubles all his efforts to match with his members. He knows his shortcomings, weaknesses but he still shows us his best. He only has love for us armys, his song Moon can testify to that so we need to appreciate Jin more.

It's just saddening to know that there are people in the fandom that thinks Jin is dispensable, and always points out his weaknesses. Not only Jin gets this treatment but other members as well, especially the hyung line. He has said in their interviews how he viewed himself as less skilled because he knows how other people in the fandom think of him.

He doesn't have Uncommon Type Vocal which is true but He can Make you feel The exact feeling of the song. If the song is like ABYSS I can cry to it when I hear Seokjin's Vocal Again if the song is like BOY WITH LUV,JAMAIS VU i can feel its a warm hug. His voice is not importantly Uncommon but He can convey the feelings He wants to Through His Vocals & singing skills perfectly Which I can truly feel.
