I was just about to say the same thing. I know the Arrows are the original and Not Joan Jett.
It like Hurt by Nine Inch Nails. Many people know the Johnny Cash cover and not the original.

So years and years and years ago on a portable stage in Jersey we did Joan Jett and I'm telling you right now she's awesome and this is a killer version

When I saw this uploaded I was so excited. I have been waiting until my work break to put on my good headphones and listen! Gotta love Joan and Audra Jetts with the best of them! 💛 My parents used to mention seeing her in the 80s and how young she seemed for being such a kickass Rockstar. I realized I feel the same seeing FT11's covers and find it fittingly poetic! You guys are legends in the making!

Hey, an old punk-rock bass player here. What I wouldn't give to jam with that guitar player (yeah the hairy one). Love that guy!
First of all: I love this band to bits and mean no disrespect in any way or form.
I'm old enough to have witnessed Joan singing this in concert in her prime. It's all about attitude, raw primal energy, projecting tangible badassery, and (I think) not being stone-cold sober. Frankly, I miss all of that. This performance is, if anything, too perfect. IMHO, it needs more raw edges, give me a touch more hoarse on the 'yeah' growls, and real sweat. The thumbnail shown for this video speaks volumes.
I appreciate the respectful comment, first off. Second, the singer, Audra, has a naturally soft-spoken voice that can't mimic hoarse growls, so the vocal is purposefully alternated.
