I totally disagree, I think the Fusion has a WAY better interior, the center stack on the Accord looks very 90's attempting to make a spaceship car; there's so many screens and very old UI. And visually it looks way more plastic based than the Ford Fusion.
I love the new comparison format! I no longer have to rewind the video several times to compare the fuel economy, price, etc. figures! Also, your footage is the best in the auto world. Great job!
I own both of these cars and I've gotta say, this review is misleading. The Accord is a better built car than the Fusion, but it's Hybrid Drive system is worse, not better. Sure if you only drive 45 mph with no traffic and no red lights they can both get 50 mpg, but in normal city and highway driving, not even close. Especially city driving - here the Honda falls far short of the Ford. Driving very conservatively I average 37 mpg in the Honda and 41 mpg in the Ford - driving the same routes the same way with both of them. The Ford hybrid system is smoother and quieter and gets better mileage in the city and about the same on the highway, compared to the Honda. Up to 45 mph the Honda engine revs up to redline with even modest acceleration as it tries to generate electricity to cover the battery that can be completely drained in a single block of medium acceleration - loud and annoying. Even very modest acceleration causes the engine to rev WAY up, until you get over 45 mph or so, then the engine clutches in and suddenly drops from 5k rpm to about 1.2k. The Honda in electric drive whines and whirs and transitions between gas and electric are noticeable - the Ford is silent in electric drive and transitions between gas and electric are completely seamless. The Honda does brake better and has an enhanced "B" mode available for more aggressive regenerative breaking. The Honda hybrid system works good at 48 mph and above, but sucks below that speed. The Ford hybrid system works good across the board. The Honda feels more responsive at lower speeds because of the big electric motor, but at the expense of a loud, over-revving gas engine trying to spin up enough electricity from the starter motor being coopted as the generator. Bottom line - The Ford is cheaper, quieter, more comfortable, handles better and gets better mileage around town - The Honda is built more solid, is quicker and more responsive and has better brakes and a nicer dash layout, but the hybrid drive system still needs a lot of improvement.
I’ve owned both. Now I have a Fusion Platinum and this is the most solid car I’ve own next to my 2003 Lexus LS430! My Fusion has No Body Roll and drives like it has more heft. The only thing I don’t like about my fusion is the transmission when shifting from 1st to 2nd it shifts like a dual clutch so I guess it’s not necessarily a bad thing
@@destroyerarmor LOL, not my intention. My real point was that overall Honda is the better car, but the Hybrid system, from my own personal experience, having owned both, was not as good as the Ford's hybrid system. I may have forgotten to mention that my Ford Fusion Hybrid had to go in the shop for warranty work 16 times and the Honda had to go in once, lol.
Had the same experience with my 2015 Honda. Average 37 mpg with normal I-have-places-to-be driving. I still think the Accord is a great, well-built car.
There crazy! The Fusion's interior is super solid we have a Fusion Hybrid and its just perfect many people who been in it can't believe it was only 30K
Yay for the Accord! Which also, in that trim, looks better than the fusion....imo. It's just a better vehicle to drive, and gets better mpg...isnt that what all hybrid buyers are looking for?
Fusion handles much much better than accord hybrid as well, the weight makes it roll a bit more still it easily outhandles the accord and nobody talked about ride quality and the back seats, fusions ride is stiff at low speeds get to speeds above 30mph,it destroys accord with its supreme body control and smooth ride, also back seats have better under thigh support. You can get black leather interior in the Accord Hybrid. The exterior color you pick determines your choice on the inside. White exterior is only available with Ivory.
I find it interesting that there are folks saying one of these is much better than the other. Both of these are really great hybrids and cars in general, and purchasing either is a win. I would say the difference is the fusion leans more european whereas the accord is typical honda. Both good.
I wasn't aware of the "only beige". Looks great AFTER you clean it but it shows everything. Beige looks especially nasty when you get creases in the leather.
Ok so your saying the fusion looks more expensive from the outside looks, sorry but the outside look is not the only thing that matters the accord have a better interior it drives better it handles better plus it's a honda which that means it will last longer than the fusion, at the end if you want to go cheap pick the ford and if you don't mind paying a lil bit more for a better car pick the Honda which is only going to require regular maintenance!
Couldnt agree more Vtec. People put waaaaay to much emphasis on looks. If you buy a car because it "Looks" more expensive and nicer than it is the only person your fooling is yourself. I know people like to say handling on the Ford is better but id like to know by what measure theyre determining that. The Honda weighs less and has a better suspension setup. Im sure its lateral grip is up to par as well seeing as the Accord Sport monstered everything in its class when it came to grip and handling ability (not to mention braking and acceleration). This accord has even more power than the accord sport thanks to its complex hybrid system, its also more efficient and powerful than the Ford which just makes the ford look terrible lol. I feel like all the problems they stated with the Accord where Gripes rather than real issues.
***** Ford had to revise their numbers down because consumers never reached them. Honda has a superior hybrid system, also the Accord will last far longer with less maintenance and will hold its value better than a Ford. The Accord is also made in the USA, Ohio to be exact. The Accord also handles well enough for a vehicle of its class, but I will agree the Fusion is better handling, but the Mazda 6 kills the Ford in handling and sportiness.
i believe it i the opposite. ford live way more than many cars. their engines are reliable. it is faster and way more refined in ride quailty. i drove the fusion and i am still having the memory of that car. it was amazing and solid car. was rental car and almost driven 200 km only! honda has that engine sound when you are driving. honestly it felts cheap to me. but also it is boring car. not for young guys. for the looks!!! i can't imagine how not reasonable what you said that looks is not important! it is important as of other stuff. but at the end, if you dont have experience in cars please do not distribute wrong info about other cars just cus you are pro japanese cars! people might count on your opinion if you are hoenst. i saw zero data about what you said. in fact, where i am is all ford and see the Police cars in the USA most are ford crown victoria. with all respect to your opinion if they are not good enough they won't keep them long. ford is reliable great looking low maintenance cars. on the other hand the honda is also reliable and great cars too. comparing those two cars they are almost the same. remember that FORD got the 47 mpg hybrid since almost 4 or 5 years. while that time honda where 25 mpg. the new generation of FUSION will make you say OMG that's a lot of mpg ...just wait to see. by the way, you don't have to make the car bad to say you like the honda you can only say simply that you like it more. thats enough to say but dont tell us that looks is not important for people of this segment. we still have our own taste that is great on the art side.
Ibrahim A All of my information is factual, you can head to TrueDelta.com and enter a model from Honda, Toyota, Acura, Lexus at will and find them to have very few problems. This is borne out by JD Power and associates long term dependability studies. So I am not just pulling opinions out of my rear end. I never said the Fusion was a bad car, but in my opinion it is inferior to the Accord. Japanese cars especially from Honda and Toyota and their luxury brands are extremely reliable and have been for decades. Ford has been merely average in reliability, again, check the sites I've listed above for factual data to support these claims. I think the Accord looks handsome and sophisticated (i'm 21), if I wanted a car for looks alone in this segment I'd buy the Mazda 6 and the Kia Optima in that order. The LED headlights look very nice, and the interior I felt was much better than the Ford's which felt cheap, especially the switchgear. MyFordTouch's interface is quite bad compared to Honda's or Toyota's interface. My father's 2009 Accord rides alot better than a friends 2010 Ford Fusion. Accords have very refined rides and always have had such rides. The Ford out-handles the Accord but I wouldn't buy either car if I intended to carve canyon roads, I'd buy a Mazda 6 which out-handles and looks way sexier than both. The Fusion is NOT rated at 47 MPG anymore. They had to revise them DOWN because no one could reach the posted numbers regularly. The Accord has no such problem.
this is the issue! those websites does not represents a lot of the time actual life experience. i dont trust them any more cus money matter bro! i dont claim anything about their opinion other than it does not match reality. i talk here experience and facts too. not a website or so! i always drive cars and check with honors what they have. it is my hoppy. i went to the website and i find the results does not match reality here in saudi, it is simple, camry can be called reliable car while they change the engine 3 times! i find it weird to use the word reliable. that crapy car. it breaks a lot and the car breaks are not having a two months lifetime! what a car. the ride quality is horrible and driving the car on curvy roads are horrible where you can lose it any time. i am big big family and drove all types of cars you would of imagine and in middle east cars are big deal cus no sub trains or something like that. so, cars are what we count on. when you said your opinion you were clearly attacking on the fusion. thats what i read. also, your factual data are from websites thats fine for a study to start on but real life requires experience and as you said you are 21 yrs old and im sure you did not drive cars as i did cus i am simply crazy of them. also, ford has super excellent changes. i would rather appreciate that. also, if fusion did not start the gas mileage war in this segment we might not have these Honda, camry or sonata hybrids. so, this is evidence that ford is a reliable innovative car. you are nice guy and i am sorry if i attacked you in a way thats not nice. peace
Seriously guys? Comparing a Ford to a Honda lol the Accord is lightyears ahead of Ford thats why Hoda Accord has been on Car & Drivers top 10 best cars for a shattering record of 28 times which is out of the 32 times it has competed. Not even the BMW 3 series has more top 10 than Accord.
Are you talking about the magazine that includes a VW Golf in the top 10 :-) ?....well, at least it's just as boring and uninspiring to drive as the Accord. Don't know what is going on with Honda in the US - on other markets they sure dare and know how to make attractive cars with a personality - look at the Civic in Europe fx. Seems like they are afraid to scare customers away (Just like VW) with their far too conservative design, and that's why I never considered an accord - or any other Asian car for that matter.
The Mazda 6 looks better than the Fusion, the Fusion looks good on the front cause it ripped off Aston Martin but on the rear it looks weird and looks like it doesnt match the rest of the car.
juan tafoya Yup agree. Everyone says it looks sooo good. But for some reason ir reminds me more of the Ford "Probe" then an Aston. The a$$ is definitely not a good match with the front.
Gary Creely In all honestly, Honda still makes an excellent product. I work in the automotive field as a service writer, and I have to admit, Honda's hold up better than any American car. Only recently, and I mean RECENTLY has Ford started producing a premium product. Not only that, but most of the older Honda's I see that come in; are not properly maintained, but keep running strong. I see older American cars (2007 and older) That just aren't holding up the same. So yeah, 2015 and Honda STILL knows what they're doing.
Can we please get an updated comparison with the 2017 models on those cars? The 17 Fusion has a better interior and the 17 accord has a more advanced hybrid system...
I've narrowed my new vehicle search to both these cars. I love the Honda, but they change their looks every year, meaning next years car will have a new look. I am impressed though by the gas milage results on the Honda. I really love the looks of the Ford, but I'm not a fan of the membrane controls and mat finish of the GPS screen, (leaves tons of finger prints, and I wonder how the membrane buttons will hold up in a couple of years). It will either come down to a coin toss, or who delivers the best deal I guess.
At the beginning the guy says you get more bang for your buck with the fusion ( or something like that) but when the specs come out it's all better on the accord so where's the justice in that?
Nice comparison! Hope you guys have the upcoming 2015 Camry hybrid in work as well. Here in California, you hardly see any of these two on the road compare to sea of Prius and Camry hybrids. I can understand that Honda is still selling them at msrp if no mark up. Becuase they are not mass produced. The Ford, I would imagine there are more people driving it, but there aren't.
Should of explained how the Honda Hybrid system really works , a lot dif. than other systems on the market and breaking uses the engine rotation to achieve better feel. Plus the main purpose of Hybrid's better fuel economy .
Both of these cars are better than the Prius in my opinion. They look like ordinary production cars, but with hybrid technology. Plus the accord has the same fancy stuff as in the Accord Touring Edition. Talk about having your cake and eating it too.
I would agree with You; 100 % but in the Accord Hybrid you actually CAN meet the mpg's, in the city. Unfortunately, this is Not what will happen in the Fusion Hybrid. My Best friend has the Fusion (Blue w/ black cloth) Hybrid base model and my brother has the Accord (Blue w/Black cloth) Hybrid base model; I will admit the Ford looks stunning but on long road trips together the Accord (city/hwy mpg.'s) has met or beaten the Ford in every aspect.
venom5809 I have a fusion and it’s been amazing the past 9 years I’ve owned it. My mom and grandmother have a 2012 and 2009 accord and they’ve both had an amazing amount of problems. My friend has a 2005 Honda Civic with 216k miles tho and it’s still going strong.
The Ford will break and will be lying around the scrapyard soon, while the Honda will stay for atleast 10 years. So Honda accord is better. A better comparison would've been between Camry Hybrid and Accord hybrid.
Pffftt 😆 sound like a sore loser trying to hold on to the old it's ugly but reliable excuse for Honda. Stop it, Ford has been building reliable cars for about 8 years now just do some research. No longer can ugly reliable cars survive in this new market
Mohammad Sadiqi The Accord is a has been. It isn't as cutting edge as it used to be, and they have only instilled more Toyota in the the DNA, IE it is more boring than ever. Imagine that, having to buy an American car for an engaging driving experience.
The Dude backing the Fusion didn't fight back enough. Hard to argue facts like the better fuel economy of the Accord, but is 5 miles a gallon "MUCH" better? Plus, who is to say its fact that the Accord has a nicer interior? I like the Fusion's more. I bet the Fusion is the better used car value.
It seems I have the opposite aesthetic taste as these reviewers; I think the Accord has the better exterior design while the Fusion has the better interior (at least in terms of looks alone; I obviously can't gauge build quality through the video).
You just have a shit taste my friend, not everyone is made to be a designer, just like that car's designer, you'd design an ugly shit thinking it looks good, while it actually looks like shit.
DoomsdayMelody91 It's not that. It's the attitude he brought. If he disagrees and thinks it looks ugly, fine. He doesn't have to drive it. When he freaks the fuck out like he did, that's when it gets nasty.
Seems lots of lookers want something that will last a long time. A chevy cruze diesel will last and get 60 MPG. Sure a Cruze is small but it might be a good buy
Why do they complain of interior of fusion, sure its no quality champ but still not cluttered and its put togather in a solid way Accord is no way better interior than fusion, also the sony 10 speaker audio of fusion sounds bettrt as well The fusions display is of much higher resolution and can be seen from all angles unlike acords which is low res and in sunlight can see nothing Accords dashboard reflection on front glass is horrible, since fusion has a smooth curve,no such issue
La Tempesta And People Over Exaggerate MyFord Touch awfulness. We have had two vehicles with MyFord Touch and not one issue with them. Everyone that rides in our cars always say they wish they had it. MyFord Touch isn't a bad system by any means. Don't know why everyone hates on the system and at least Ford has stood by them product updating the system to a better quality.
austin lee When you use Microsoft to come up with something it is bound to be bad. Honda's system, while a little dated, runs more smoothly than the first few iterations of myford touch. I still say that the Koreans (Hyundai and Kia) have the best infotainment systems on the market for ease of use, reliability, and proper functioning.
I'd rather put some type of cover over the Accord's arm rest to avoid the staining as the reviewer says- but WHY doesn't Honda offer a leather interior so this wouldn't be an issue???
If you choose a car just for looks and looks alone...I strongly suggest you change your mindset when car shopping... The Accord is a handsome car, drives much nicer, better interior quality, and has more usable space (despite the rear seats not being able to fold down). For a couple more thousand, I'd gladly have an Accord Hybrid over the Fusion. Oh, and 50MPG.
The Accord might be better but in the real world (you can get a huge discount on the fusion on top of it's lower entry price) the fusion was thousands less than a comparably equipped Accord hybrid
Never drove either but I went in the accord and pros include good room and panel fit but the interior screams cheap! The dashboard and everything that looks soft touch is hard hard plastic. The cloth seats look eighties and the engine lining had poor finish. The fusion has a much higher quality interior with soft everything and higher quality seats that don't look cheap. Cheaper too and honda reliability is over hyped.
I love the grill of the Ford Fusion, the back could look better but it's still nice. The center stack in the fusion didn't look good also. However the Honda had an ugly center stack as well
Phanteus This is true, I won't deny, but I just can't deal with the Accord asthetics. Plus, the ford's cheaper too. Still get 47 MPG, which is what matters to me.
lmao it is the other way around. my friend has a 2010-2011 Fusion Sport, and I have a 2007 Honda Accord LX with almost 100K on it, and my interior makes no noises, and the plastic is much better quality. Not to mention his car only has 40K and makes all type of plastic squeaks and noises while driving.
hmmm Might want to reread the original comment. "isn't as good as the accord" - that person appears to agree with you. My money would buy the Fusion, personally.
I'm going to get the Accord, we've always had good luck with Japanese cars and poor luck with American ones. The Fusion is neck in neck with the Accord, but the better fuel economy, superior hybrid technology, standard LED headlights and taillights (vs only halogen headlights and LED taillights for the Fusion), a design that will age well, bullet proof Honda reliability and quality, solid dynamics and faster speed than the Fusion hybrid. That all adds up little by little to beat out the Fusion in my book. I'll vote with my pocketbook.
The fusion is a fantastic car - you can be very happy and Proud. I just got a 2017 Ford Fusino Energi plug-in hybrid, Honda doesn't make that car this good at all. The clarity is the only thing that comes close, and it's not a car, it a platypus - ugly and strange, a 'compliance car' (not a serious competitor). The fusion has more models (I believe) than any midsized car because the design is so versatile.
homda accord hybrid from 2014 to 2019 best hybrid car in history and it shame when differentiation it with fusion hybrid maby camry can compare with Honda just
so not sure how you test cars. I have a feeling you never take it on highway. Because if you did. you know fhe Ford hybrid only does mid 30s mpgs on the highway speed. The accord is know for road noise on highway. please stop kidding about the interior. Ford has way better interior than honda, and it cost more.
Yeah I personally don't find fusion look attractive. I think it just depends on personal preference though. Just like how some people love the new chrysler200 but I think it looks ugly.
sun2001kim I find it looks like a shark. Don't ask me why, but to me it looks sleek and stylish, but everyone will have differing opinions. Curious, though. What car do you find attractive?
We had the choice of a black interior when we looked at the Accord Hybrid but did choose the Ivory. I was surprised at the comment of the Fusion having faster steering. Compared to other vehicles we own and have owned the Accord is quite fast, often taking just a quarter of a turn of the wheel or less to turn on city streets.
I NEED dark interior in my cars. I had already learned my lesson with my 1998 Mercury Villager - don't get light colored interiors (for me)! The interior in my van was gray and looked very bad when I spilled something.
We had a diamond White Pearl Cadillac CTS with black interior which we liked, but with the Accord's very open and spacious interior the light interior even made it more so. Since owning the Accord I can attest to achieving advertised mileage but I have to work at it some because we live at 500' and commute down then back up everyday. Best average to date has been 47 mpg. Unfortunately I love the steady rush of power when I hit the throttle. Mileage goes down some, typically around 42 to 43 mpg. It really surprises just how much scoot it has.
Erlis Vidal Looking at other online reviews and Honda's web site, it appears only the lighter colored-trim ones have the beige interior. Darker colors, like blue, have a black interior (at least as I saw from the Everyman Driver's review of the Accord Hybrid).
I like the Accord best. Ford is good, but I've always been partial to Honda. Ford and Honda acronyms: FORD-Found On Road Dead. HONDA-Hold On Not Done Accelerating. LOL
I would like the accord much more if it was the coupe version. The accord coupe is freakin beautiful! The sedan isn't anywhere near as good, though it's not bad. So I'd take an accord coupe hybrid over the fusion, but the fusion over the sedan which is to the best of my knowledge the only one they make.
@@ixcutamp8059 I find accords and Hondas in general to be a stiff ride with poor ergonomics and interior. I don’t understand why the accord is so popular.
I totally disagree, I think the Fusion has a WAY better interior, the center stack on the Accord looks very 90's attempting to make a spaceship car; there's so many screens and very old UI. And visually it looks way more plastic based than the Ford Fusion.
Fusion blows anything in its class away overall. Especially the updated 2020 version

Exactly!
I have a 2016 Fusion, bought it 6 months ago, the interior doesn't get "grimmey." I've only cleaned it twice in 6 months, it looks fine.
@Andrew Rauenbuehler clean it duh
I'm a big fan of the hybrids and I think Ford nailed it with this one
Honda has always had better fuel economy on their accords so this is nothing new, Its nice to see Ford stepping in this direction

The steering it's one of more important things, fusion wins.
I did test drive 2015 fusion yesterday and it's steering was so heavy.
Can't wait to get a Fusion one day.

$8,00 0r $9.00 a month.

i believe it i the opposite. ford live way more than many cars. their engines are reliable. it is faster and way more refined in ride quailty. i drove the fusion and i am still having the memory of that car. it was amazing and solid car. was rental car and almost driven 200 km only! honda has that engine sound when you are driving. honestly it felts cheap to me. but also it is boring car. not for young guys. for the looks!!! i can't imagine how not reasonable what you said that looks is not important! it is important as of other stuff. but at the end, if you dont have experience in cars please do not distribute wrong info about other cars just cus you are pro japanese cars! people might count on your opinion if you are hoenst. i saw zero data about what you said. in fact, where i am is all ford and see the Police cars in the USA most are ford crown victoria. with all respect to your opinion if they are not good enough they won't keep them long. ford is reliable great looking low maintenance cars. on the other hand the honda is also reliable and great cars too. comparing those two cars they are almost the same. remember that FORD got the 47 mpg hybrid since almost 4 or 5 years. while that time honda where 25 mpg. the new generation of FUSION will make you say OMG that's a lot of mpg ...just wait to see. by the way, you don't have to make the car bad to say you like the honda you can only say simply that you like it more. thats enough to say but dont tell us that looks is not important for people of this segment. we still have our own taste that is great on the art side.
The Mazda 6 looks better than the Fusion, the Fusion looks good on the front cause it ripped off Aston Martin but on the rear it looks weird and looks like it doesnt match the rest of the car.
juan tafoya
Yup agree. Everyone says it looks sooo good. But for some reason ir reminds me more of the Ford "Probe" then an Aston. The a$$ is definitely not a good match with the front.
1985 called, they want the idea that "Honda is the best car" back.
The 17 Fusion has a better interior and the 17 accord has a more advanced hybrid system...
i would say the Accord looks better and feels better when driving. id be more incline to get an accord
I have a 2014 Fusion hybrid. Tune it and changed somethings to carbon fiber and now getting sometime over 60 mpg.
Tune it how?
I've narrowed my new vehicle search to both these cars. I love the Honda, but they change their looks every year, meaning next years car will have a new look. I am impressed though by the gas milage results on the Honda. I really love the looks of the Ford, but I'm not a fan of the membrane controls and mat finish of the GPS screen, (leaves tons of finger prints, and I wonder how the membrane buttons will hold up in a couple of years). It will either come down to a coin toss, or who delivers the best deal I guess.
simrdown mon Went with the Fusion Titanium hybrid.
At the beginning the guy says you get more bang for your buck with the fusion ( or something like that) but when the specs come out it's all better on the accord so where's the justice in that?
DO THE CAMRY HYBRID AND ACCORD HYBRID COMPARSION
I would argue the Fusion has a much better interior.
Driven Cars reviewed the Accord hybrid and averaged around 40mpg. Hmmm.
Honda!!
Both of these cars are better than the Prius in my opinion. They look like ordinary production cars, but with hybrid technology. Plus the accord has the same fancy stuff as in the Accord Touring Edition. Talk about having your cake and eating it too.
If the Fusion Hybrid had the Honda Engine it just might be the best car ever made!
This Review hits home because I Started off as a Honda Fan Boy now all I buy is Fords lol
when you did your loop, did you do it from both directions or just one circle?
Honda is way better. There are guys on you tube getting over 700 miles on full tank.
You can easily reach the above mpg figures on any vehicles. Most people just drive with a lead foot.
Is camry hybrid out of date?
i got a 2016 fusion se deep impact blue and i blacked out all the chrome and tinted the windows at 5% .. every day someone says nice car!
The Honda has a far nicer and more luxurious looking interior and exterior than the fusion.
no
Yess
The Accord will be on the road 10 plus years from now with little to no problems, the Fusion, probably not.
venom5809 I have a fusion and it’s been amazing the past 9 years I’ve owned it.
No longer can ugly reliable cars survive in this new market
looking for Ford Fusion and get Porsche concept commercial... darn my jaw dropped looking at that Porsche concept...
Somebody give that man a haircut!
The Fusion Is Still Better Than The Accord
That was an empty claim
Mohammad Sadiqi
The Accord is a has been. It isn't as cutting edge as it used to be, and they have only instilled more Toyota in the the DNA, IE it is more boring than ever. Imagine that, having to buy an American car for an engaging driving experience.
The auto industry generally sucks when it comes to OS/GUI. Glad to see some of them are starting to adopt Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
I love both cars 50% 50%
They both are good cars
Period, end of story.
Juan Tello
HEAVEN FORBID SOMEONE IS WRONG ON THE INTERNET!!!!!
DoomsdayMelody91
It's not that.
Why do they complain of interior of fusion, sure its no quality champ but still not cluttered and its put togather in a solid way
Accord is no way better interior than fusion, also the sony 10 speaker audio of fusion sounds bettrt as well
The fusions display is of much higher resolution and can be seen from all angles unlike acords which is low res and in sunlight can see nothing
Accords dashboard reflection on front glass is horrible, since fusion has a smooth curve,no such issue
2 words: MyFord Touch. No thank you.
I still say that the Koreans (Hyundai and Kia) have the best infotainment systems on the market for ease of use, reliability, and proper functioning.
austin lee Seriously. I love the MyFord Touch! I don't understand the hate. Also, I am an IT guy. Still love it.
I'd rather put some type of cover over the Accord's arm rest to avoid the staining as the reviewer says- but WHY doesn't Honda offer a leather interior so this wouldn't be an issue???
Honda is way better!
youre an idiot
Why don't any of the hybrids... especially those based on existing ICE vehicles have a towing capacity.
My 15 accord hybrid has all black leather interior.
I'm curios as to why even today the 2015 is valued at 27k but the 2015 is at 26k.
Both 2015 ?
Never drove either but I went in the accord and pros include good room and panel fit but the interior screams cheap! The dashboard and everything that looks soft touch is hard hard plastic. The cloth seats look eighties and the engine lining had poor finish. The fusion has a much higher quality interior with soft everything and higher quality seats that don't look cheap. Cheaper too and honda reliability is over hyped.
But I bet you didn't get the hybrid version for some reason.
The interior screams 1980's in the Hondas...
"The fusion is one of the best looking cars you can get"
please…stop stating your opinion as fact.
***** "The center stack on the Honda looks much better than the fords" (paraphrased) Same.
I love the grill of the Ford Fusion, the back could look better but it's still nice. The center stack in the fusion didn't look good also. However the Honda had an ugly center stack as well
I think the Honda is better looking.... keep the big guy btw, he does a great job.
Why the hell does the Fusion's Speedometer go up to 200 MPH. That is outrageous to even put that on there. It should be like 140 at the MOST.
My bad. It was switched to KPH at 3:30. It goes to 120 MPH. That is more like it!
So the only downside of the Accord is its design (which is subjective). Otherwise, it just beats Fusion on every level.
Phanteus This is true, I won't deny, but I just can't deal with the Accord asthetics. Plus, the ford's cheaper too. Still get 47 MPG, which is what matters to me.
simrdown mon
Fair enough. To each their own.
theres another downside! its a honda, it sucks!!
you suck
Seahawk STRIKE stfu honda fanboy
More money for the Accord but in terms of reliability and longevity, the FORD will fail/die first.
Chubby kid is Slovenly and shouldn't be presenting without at least getting a haircut first. Unprofessional for such a large channel.
Honda.
Why are you comparing a
1 hour use car to 100 year use car???
Honda!
mike krohn
Ford!
honda sucks
mike krohn Honda only sucks if your talking about it not breaking down every millisecond
Atm the fusion is the much better deal but it's interior quality isn't as good as the accord's in the long run
lmao it is the other way around. my friend has a 2010-2011 Fusion Sport, and I have a 2007 Honda Accord LX with almost 100K on it, and my interior makes no noises, and the plastic is much better quality. Not to mention his car only has 40K and makes all type of plastic squeaks and noises while driving.
Plus, the Fusion is good look now, cars that very "futuristic" in looks age quicker. Honda's outside look will last longer.
hmmm
Might want to reread the original comment.
I'll vote with my pocketbook.
crap, I should have gotten the Honda. ..
The fusion has more models (I believe) than any midsized car because the design is so versatile.
homda accord hybrid from 2014 to 2019
best hybrid car in history
and it shame when differentiation it with fusion hybrid
maby camry can compare with Honda just
That grille on the ford is hideous! Accord is a better looking car and the fusions interior is a joke lol. Accord hands down
AutoGuide.com I suggest using the word "handsome-looking" as to describe the Accord though it is not the best looking car.
The honda accord is better value the handling is great and the fusion really doesn't match up to the accord
team fusion
I don't want either...
so not sure how you test cars. I have a feeling you never take it on highway. Because if you did. you know fhe Ford hybrid only does mid 30s mpgs on the highway speed. The accord is know for road noise on highway. please stop kidding about the interior. Ford has way better interior than honda, and it cost more.
Stick with my jetta hybrid
Ewww lol
The Ford Fusion Better Overall In All Ways.. honda just tries to hard n don't win
What car do you find attractive?
honda is better
You got it wrong!!! the honda looks better!!!
Only beige??! Disgusting! Nice charcoal gray would be much much better
Agreed.
Really all Accords hybrids interior are beige????
Erlis Vidal Looking at other online reviews and Honda's web site, it appears only the lighter colored-trim ones have the beige interior. Darker colors, like blue, have a black interior (at least as I saw from the Everyman Driver's review of the Accord Hybrid).
The fussion is looks ugly both interior and exterior in my opinion:)
Ford
The fusion is a lot nicer.
The Honda is better looking, sleek and classy than the fusion.comparing to the VW Passat both cars have low quality build and cheap looking interiors!
The Honda's design is so basic and ugly!
Accord is so much better haha! Nice try on the ford.
I like the Accord best. Ford is good, but I've always been partial to Honda.
Ford and Honda acronyms:
FORD-Found On Road Dead.
I go for Honda Accord
Sorry, but the Ford Fusion does not look good on the outside. Ugly design...
jamest6474 I disagree, but I sincerely hope this helped you find a better car if you're looking for one.
idiot
Go Honda
Life's too short for boring cars - bye bye Honda!
Accord interior is just terrible. Fusion is simpler and better.
It may have looked better back then, but Nowdays buyers prefer a simpler styling.
@@ixcutamp8059 I find accords and Hondas in general to be a stiff ride with poor ergonomics and interior. I don’t understand why the accord is so popular.
That fusion looks ugly imo
HONDA ALL THE FKIN WAY!
I get the ford... if they give it to me for free.
I hope you don't buy that ugly ass accord either
