But hang on. My problem is a bit complex, I used roman figures and broke the pages. I then proceeded to write up my report and denoted the next few pages as 1, 2,3...and so on. I realised my mistake and now the cover page has roman figure i. If I try to break the cover page, fine it does unlink and remove the i from cover page but now my entire document numbering becomes irregular when I try to start off at one. Can I remove all pg numbering and start over without affecting the body content of my report??? Please help!

@Trend Vlog I am having trouble with mine. I put the page numbers in and the "Link to Previous" isn't on at all, it's just faded a bit, and just when I go to Format Page Numbers and type in 1, it just leads me back to the Title Page's page 1. What's up with that? And when I try to change page 2 to 1. All the pages are ones. And when I go back to Format and type in a different number. It just changes the type page to that number. Like let's 4, the title would be page 4, while the rest are 5, 6, 7, and 8 and so on and so forth. Help me out here.

Please go directly to the ‘problem’ you are claiming to solve. In this video almost half the time is spent in demonstrating how to number pages. Persons with the ACTUAL PROBLEM YOU CLAIM TO DEMONSTRATE know now to number and format pages.
