Outstanding job by EPFD and mutual aid companies keeping this fire within the complex. Tremendous job under severe conditions. Well done brothers and sisters

Tragic and sad. Hope they rebuild fast and with more safety.
sadly i'm thinking they will probably relocate south to a more business friendly state ( cheaper taxes utilities etc )
...I figured it would burn itself out when there was little or nothing left for the fire to consume...Back in the day, where DIDN'T you see rolls of Marcal toilet paper or Marcal lavatory paper towel dispensers when it came to hospitals, schools, churches, government buildings, restaurants, and other local businesses all over the Metro NY/NJ area? End of a local landmark, and an era...

I hope it doesn't get re zoned for luxury hi-rise condos like 2 massive fires in Queens recently. Mostly local mom and pop and local businesses were destroyed. The fires were a short time after the blocks were re zoned. Coincidence right...right?!?

What devastation, I said it before but I don't want to speculate, but how in the hell could something like this happen, you figure there has been a few other fires in the past year, you had a couple hunderd people working when this started, & from one report the management was in a meeting when this started. In all fairness this had to been set, someone wanted this place gone for whatever the reasons, so sad
I would think that a couple of employees with fire extinguishers could have taken care of the fire before it got out of control, right? Paper burns fast, but its not gasoline....
