Very true. It took me a couple watches to really grasp what happened, and it makes sense. They're both so evenly matched in their chaotic natures, the only tipping point was that Bill is more likely to kill someone else than Discord has been shown to be, so it makes sense that Bill would destroy Discord, but Discord could trick Bill to imprisonment, thus creating an overall stalemate.
@SpeedyTempo the thing is, discord is implied to be able to come back eventually, and with it taking 1000000 years for the prophecy of bill's return from the Nightmare Relm to happen, I think Discord will definitely be ready for a rematch in time.
@rampagephoenix1735 I mean... not majorly so? I def can see it cuz he is unkillable and does a lot of wacky stuff in the fight... but he's also has a distinct lack of firepower compared to the collector, who one-shot the main villain of their show, moved the moon out of the sky with a finger, and ripped apart an entire island with a twist of his wrist. Don't get me wrong, the fight would be glorious... but it'd also make me sad because I know asriel would lose lol and I don't like seeing my favorite characters die

@rollthedyce7578 not really? He threatened to, but the only rewriting he could have done is of the timeline. Besides that he just has super powerful magical attacks, but they aren't world bending.
