I was surpsied myself, i had my plat after arround 24h, with reading/listening to All the collectibles and Taking my time doing most the random crimes, which easly had me Max lvl way before finishing the Story.... Non the less, i loved the game and Cant wait for the dlc's that will come they Definitly Set up
10 hours played so far, level 25, taking my time with it, been avoiding the main quests as much as possible, game says im at like 28% completion. purposely trying to not rush the game cuz i know ill never play it again after the platinum (unless dlc) great video as always, thank you

I still say the first game was the best. If they had Sandman, Mysterio, and Kraven in the first game's Sinister Six along with Doc Ock, Electro and Vulture, it would have been my perfect Spider-Man game. The emotions were more raw, the story felt more plausible and more down to earth, and I loved Ock as the main villain for the first time since "Spider-Man 2: The Game." I think "Marvel’s Spider-Man 2" shot for the moon and missed, which is a shame since it didn't have to be like that. Maybe another company can give us that quintessential Spider-Man experience?
I completely disagree. To each their own, but Spider-Man 2 exceeded my expectations. It felt so much like the comic books that I grew up with. I appreciated the much darker tone of the story because Spider-Man’s story is inherently dark by the nature of the character. In-fact, that’s really my only complaint. I wish the game was much darker, not just in terms of story, but also the color palette too, as I appreciate darker tones for grim stories as opposed to vibrant and colorful tones. The gameplay was great, the swinging was immaculate, the abilities were on point, all of it was just perfect for me.

i did on amazing difficulty took me 18hrs to plat. its my first spiderman game and for my experience i thought most of it was great but my only gripes i had was the length of the game and no new game plus but apparently thats coming in a few months. but by that time ill be playing other games.
Yea, I saw the Plat trophy took 25 - 30 hours to get... and then this morning I just finished it at 12.5 hours played. I was really just enjoying my time with it, didn't use any guides, did every crime that popped up and was looking at the scenery too. I, for the life of me, have no idea how they over doubled that time. I could get maybe 20ish hours... but upwards of 30? They must've been just sitting and watching the boats go by for hours.

@@Ummidk1 I mean, there's no proving it, but I never fast traveled, I didn't skip cutscenes (if you even can. I don't think you could in the first two games), and I just did anything in the overworld I came across as I did. I mean, you could potentially say I went fast with the fights... but I just really like the combos you can do, and many of the really speed up fights. The grapple gadget can take a 5 min fight and make it like 30 seconds after a few upgrades. Also, if the story is 9-10 hours, then that leaves 3.5-2.5 hours for me to have done the rest of the stuff. I'm pretty sure that would be totally feasible.
I did really love venom in the game but I wished it kinda exploded the symbiote and its character more. Like it wasn’t 100% clear if the symbiote was genuinely doing what they thought was best for their host or just being totally malicious and just using them. I just think it would have been interesting to flesh them out more and it would have helped the game be a bit longer too! Though one thing I like is how they still have those side quest where you’re just helpin people out! Like the homecoming thing! I think quest like those are really sweet! Spider man helping others is just what he’s always been about! Game ain’t perfect but it still had plenty to like! Though I like almost any media that has Venom in it! Especially 19 inches-
Well it does have bugs actually where i was a cube so yeah and when I was doing a mission and in a cutscene green lighting was on peters body and when miles was in his normal clothes he also had electricity in him but hopefully it goes but it was pretty fun to see
I hate the Parry mechanic, it's basically them making Spider-Man act like Arkham Batman. Spider-Man's whole thing is evading attacks, he's literally a Pre-Cog, these regular ass humans should not be doing attacks that he straight up can't dodge.

My parents complain that I beat games too fast it’s probably because I go straight to the story and barely any side quests now on my 3rd play through of spidey 2 as soon as I get a side quest I must finish it before continuing the main story
