Their magnum opus, I'm proud to own the CD ... such a shame Cleopatra couldn't be bothered putting in the Necessary Efforts this time around ... thanks for the review
One day, I will find the cassette version and not have to sell my car to afford it! It's a great album and it really is shameful that it was shown so little care in this release.

Great review. Sigh. I just....Cleopatra just piss me off. I was so excited for the Dreams for the Dying vinyl issue, then found out they replaced the version of Static Jesus with the From the Heart version. WHY?? Good lord, why of all tracks replace THAT one. And here, they've done it again by editing track lengths. So glad you put this video out.
This is also probably my favorite pe album, surprising that the packaging is so awful yet the pressing is good. The editing of rozz's work on this and other releases is unforgivable. Thanks for your thorough reviews of these re-issues, and your overall coverage of rozz projects - you are a rare resource and it is much appreciated.

Using cheap ai images is incredibly tacky but par for the course from Cleo. Have to admit I'm still considering though since this is one of my favorite PE albums.

Thanks for the review. I didn't know about this release. I wasn't expecting much from Cleopatra but I'm still disappointed! That level of carelessness is unbelievable. I have no rational explanation for such choices, except they deliberately want to fuck with us fans.
And I still wanna buy it 😂 oh well...
I'm with you - it feels deliberate. "How bad can we make it before they stop buying?" If you do pull the trigger and buy it - at least it sounds good! Thanks for commenting and visiting!
Chuck didn't even know about this until I told him about it. I found it "by accident". Needless to say, it resulted in a phone call where he was fairly pissed about the whole thing. He contacted them promptly. It's basically a "bootleg". Cleopatra has released SO MANY things without artist's consent. Lawsuits have resulted. As far as I'm concerned, they are just another bootleg label that churns out cheesy crap. And their graphic designer is TERRIBLE. I thought their stuff looked REALLY BAD in the '90s... but it all just keeps looking WORSE AND WORSE over the years. Blah blah blah. I bought one too. Never played it. Tucked it away in the archive to be forgotten. LOL!!!
Not disparaging your views but personally I’m just happy this exists. Sure it would be better with art and so on but really how many copies would you think they’d sell? Cleo has to make money or at least break even. That you state the sound quality is very good is most important (to me). That’s all I got.
Game changer! And yes, I tried what I read the other day and it was mind blowing to see her writhing with pleasure and ready for anything. It started when I learned to last at least 30 minutes go’ogling the latest in Greyzar Drinbo's PE Solution and now she keeps dragging me back lol
