So awesome!!! I hadn’t thought about not having access to the top when you have other gear strapped across the passenger area. Camera worked out great! I have GoPro 9 as well.
What you did was functional and stylish. Why not look at some smaller LED turn signals and retro fit at you leisure. Plenty of them out there reasonably inexpensive

The bags look great..
Camera did well. Make sure you have enough clearance between brackets and rear shocks (as they do move towards rear of bike slightly) as they compress under load. Nice job though.
I have enough room, though I test fit them on my buddies sportster on lower shocks and they do touch. These bikes don’t have that much shock travel though 😂
Was hard to tell in video, but figured you had taken that into consideration. The wife and I Hope to catch up with you and Jess sometime and do some riding. My wife started riding herself 2 years ago and progressing well. We’re located on MI OH border.
