We as the general public will never know the truth about Mike and Frank's relationship in the last few years of Frank's life. Fame, Money, and being together so often, probably changed both men. I enjoyed the show, the hunt for old stuff and all the different locations and people of America. Rest in peace Mr. Fritz.
A very sad story, indeed; I hope they truly reconciled, and I hope that anything Mike is involved in in the future that he will somehow always include/ mention/ recognize/ acknowledge his friend Frank, and keep his memory alive.
I read him saying that he was there with him when Frank passed. I hope that's true.. I loved Frank, but I've had alcoholic friends and it can be difficult, ..and then other multiple health issues on top of that. ..who knows how it was when the cameras weren't rolling 😢🤷♀️
Great summarization video, it was the dynamic duo in terms of picking! I really never got into the drama, I honestly get tired of it all. If there is life, there is drama! There could be just two people on the planet and there would still be drama. What I liked the best is that they both seemed genuine and would impart some knowledge that I had no idea about. It was so cool to learn more about Americana in the bigs and smalls. I was always intrigued in antique stuff when I was a kid, every old object had a story to tell, and in some ways American Pickers helped me navigate some of our “natural” history, and make a little bit of a better sense of where we came from in terms of the American story! RIP Frank!
I lost touch with my best friend from high school and found out one day that he had passed. I am sad at Frank's passing, but am glad that they made up in the end!
One of the best shows ever both men had great chemistry and just made the show fun to watch and the educational value was enormous I learned something new every episode and very grateful to the History Channel for such an incredibly entertaining show from two regular guys from Iowa.
i saw a video in which someone pointed out that most of the show was staged. I really didn't care about that. It was a pleasant show and even if staged, was very informative! Best show in years as far as I'm concerned. They seemed like true, genuine guys with a heart, as seen in a few episodes where they made a pile more money on something they bought for little money, then turned around and gave back what they felt was a fair amount of money, or as iin the amusement park visit, a donation to restoring the park!
@@briansauer6695 That is a very good Analysis I agree with interpretation 100 percent and like you I was entertained for years with American Pickers and will always be thankful for such a unique and wonderful experience.
Man I haven't seen my best friend in over 2 years almost 3 years but every time we see each other we pick up right where we left off like we are still giddy little kids in school.
Oh wow I didn’t know they split or that Frank died! I loved this show. Man life’s too short! Nothing will ever replace them or that show, they were the originators of picking. They made it cool, they made it fun, and they made it a business.
RIP FRANK FRITZ. Never missed the show id always go to my grandma's take her dinner and spend the evening watching your show and others on the same time like it.
Man can I relate. I too had a best friend who was my business partner. We also traveled all around the country together, we were single, making big bucks and enjoying the American dream when he also passed away. We always had arguments and it was mostly because we were around each other all the time and yeah it wears on you. LOL But ya know what ? When you're best friends all the junk stuff in friendships goes away and we always find forgiveness. So yeah man I can relate and I love the show I have seen every single premier since the beginning, I a bit of a picker too. Old Pickers never die they just pick their nose when there is no scrap to collect. LOL
A lot of "partner acts" end up hating each other, at least temporarily. Then if they're lucky, over time cooler heads prevail and their affection for each other returns. Sad to hear about Frank's passing, he always made the show for me.
I saw my uncles Indian motorcycle on their show……my uncle had recently died and his friends were selling the antique Indian motorcycle for his surviving daughters / my cousins ❤❤💕
Mike would sell his soul and a few pieces of silver just to get his brother onto the show and push Frank off simultaneously. Once Frank was gone, I was gone. I will never ever watch that show again.
No one watching this can make a real judgment of either man. We didn't know them personally or know their friendship. We only knew what we saw and were told.

I wonder how Mike had time when he was cheating on his wife with the new girl he’s a dog and he let fame go to his head and he wanted to set up his brother to take frank away from his show he’s fake and his bother is fake Istop watching the show when all this started

I don’t know. On a different note early in the series they would reiterate that they would bid low because they were resellers for profit. By the end of the series after being well known and famous, and taking advantage of that fact, a lot of times they were in it for their own personal collection and still expected to not pay up full blown.

Mike Wolfe is joke
All this about Mike like people know him !!!! Sort it out! Left his wife had an affair … well women have what’s called menopause people and maybe his wife had this ? Maybe it just ran its course ? I go for the first . So many guys split in 50s and move on as they still want !!! having a go when you all will or have been down this road in one way or another gives no bloody right to have a pop . I doubt very much Mike would be allowed to at his friends last moments if the fallout was as bad as we all thought . Please remember Frank for what he was .. a nice guy who wouldn’t want hate aimed at Mike ! Peace out..
