It can be also solved by making equations of motion to find the vertical separation between them and the horizontal separation between them with respect to time then by using Pythagoras we have to find the total separation and then differentiate it with respect to time and the result gives us the time at which the separation is minimum and we put the value of time on the equation which gives us the total separation between them
at the end of 11 i understand that we had to solve the ques of min. separation by realtive concept

solved it by my self this gives me more motivation to solve more tough questions.
