    i first make the coordinates of projectile in terms of time and then i used the AOD. thank you I WANT YOU TO BE UNDERRATTED SO ONLT SERIOUS HARDWORKING GET THIS CONTENT.

    It can be also solved by making equations of motion to find the vertical separation between them and the horizontal separation between them with respect to time then by using Pythagoras we have to find the total separation and then differentiate it with respect to time and the result gives us the time at which the separation is minimum and we put the value of time on the equation which gives us the total separation between them
