Well I am going to be tying a bunch of these! I love the idea that you can just by a bunch of different colors of one material and be able to make endless different color combos. Save on the wallet and on time.
Hi Brian, just trolling throu gh this vid. Had a couple of days throwing them wet wading on the Mohaka River, North Iland, NZ month back. I throut were petrified of the brighter colours but hammered the Black in a thinned down 6 inch version. Browns up to 7lb. Have you or mike had success in the other colours in clrear conditions
Niiiicccceee fly m8!! But...I have seen that you normally use 3 beads, is that because it works really well ( trial/error) or is it looks?? Best regards from Iceland. Siggi Már
I have fished for pike with a few of my ripple ice fiber baitfish patterns. A part from loosing a few strands now and then it’s been working great for me :)
Check out the video description for my MUST HAVE fly tying tools, fly fishing gear, and video equipment!!

Nicely done!
Great pattern I'm gonna give it a shot. Does anyone know what song this is?
I like how the red beads will be playing peakaboo with a trouts tastebuds
Brian. Are you combining out the fibers or preparing them at all before tying them on?

I have actually switched beads. The beads I use now are a little bigger, so I don't use as many. Thanks for watching!
Brian, do you think Ripple Ice can stand up to musky teeth?
That is a good question. My first instinct is it is "iffy". Each fiber is NOT strong, but in numbers the fibers do get a lot stronger. Give it a shot.
Thank you!

Caught some pretty decent pike and walleye on them
