Great video about looking for special moments in daily life. It's about recognizing that life is fleeting and change is constant, and what appears mundane now can become deeply, sentimentally nostalgic later.
Son of a…. This brought out the feelings, man. This is the #1 reason I picked up a camera, preserve the memories. And this video reminded me that I can be even better about it. Thank you.
Love this idea! Another suggestion, is to not delete ANY photos. I keep every photo, even the blurry ones, and the ones I accidentally took of the ground. It really helps me remember the specific day and how I actually felt, judging by the way I was taking photos. Idk if that makes sense but it sort of helps set a timeline
I could see how keeping all your photos can do that! Not gonna lie though if I kept every photo I think I would be way overwhelmed! But if you can do it in a way that works for you then thats amazing!
Great video. After retiring in Feb it is so important for me to document even the very normal days. Decided to start a channel to help preserve. Keep up the good work. 👍😎
Love this, man. From now on, I'll try to capture all the moments like that. Thanks for your video, I hope can see more videos like this in the future, from Vietnam.
I started photographing more often but also those small details mentioned in the video. In addition to all that, I started printing and making photo albums of the things I photograph
None of those images are silly. They are the stories of your life, and are precious! I've always done this, just for my own enjoyment. I hope my kids and their kids see them all someday and remember or learn about the stories in our lives, too.
Yes. I am 74 and the snapshots in my mind, that I do not have in my hand, are the ones I wish for. I do have a virtual ton of pictures, but I can still pin point some I wish were on paper.
Great video! Have you done a video on how you archive and store all your footage? Would love to know your process. As cameras get better and files larger, I'm running out of space.
I've been thinking about this a lot lately, I just started the video so I'm not sure what you're going to say but... I've been making an effort to make those images of places and people that are important to the family. Maybe my cousins' kids will be interested when they're feeling nostalgic.
The photos that have made me tear up and get the most emotions are always the most casual, unflattering incidental throwaway photos.
There is something so beautiful with the authentic photos!
Also remember to be in the photo yourself sometimes. It's easy taking pictures, but also easy to forget that there's somebody behind the camera aswell
Very true! Sometimes thats hard to remember!
This is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Be where your feet are.
Thanks for watching, I’m glad it resonated with you!
