If you turn the VHS tapes on their side, you’ll be able to see every title and get the same amount per shelf. That way you won’t be hiding some back behind. It is something that I discovered early on in my VHS collecting the top of the VHS tape also shows the title all you need to see is the the top of the VHS tape. Those shelves you have are the same ones I started with you can get away with adding three more extra shelves per shelving unit and then that way you don’t have to worry about pulling a bottom VHS off and the top on falling down. As time goes on, you will discover better and better ways to store your VHS tapes so you can still display them. People complain about them taking up space but really they’re not that bad not to mention there are way more movies on VHS then there have ever been on DVD. Every time they release a new format, there’s fewer and fewer movies they get put on the new format. VHS is definitely the way to go if you’d like more obscure and rarer titles harder to find, but definitely worth it when you find them.

People like myself are fixing broken vhs tapes with Scotch tape it starts playing again with out no problem's plus I clean out a mode switches in VCR players everything starts playing again with the VCR player everything proven online how clean out a mode switch in a VCR player
