I am one of the first who rode this coaster when it first opened up. They have made so many changes to it with more lights, sounds and even music! It just keeps getting better and better! RIDE IT! RIDE IT! RIDE IT!
It's actually not too bad, I don't like the cork screws but the launch is legit. velocicoaster is one of the best in the world I think though something I never thought universal would do. I have been on all of the top 10s, velocicoaster beats them, good job universal and Intamin.
Rode this ride for the first time last month. Rode it like 2 or 3 separate times with how short the wait times were. Absolutely loved this ride. I was always nervous about riding it growing up but man I had a blast
I’m currently on vacation at Universal Studios in Orlando. This is my first time here and I can easily say the Hulk coaster is a must ride. Rode it twice since arriving here.
I liked the speakers on the seats it immerses one into the experience. Nice touch. I got on that ride a couple of times before the park closed since the lines were low.
When i went last march, with a couple Famliy friends. My mom, and my moms best friends youngest son(8) stayed out, while me(10 then) and the eldest(11 then) her bsf(41) and her husband(43) all rode this FRONT ROW at night time, it was magical! I’m so excited to go again this march with them!
I remember the first time I rode it, it was like 20 years ago. I didn’t know anything about it but I love coasters so when it took off at the beginning,…I was not expecting that! I was blown away. I had never been on a coaster that accelerated up instead of click, click, click, up you go. Awesome ride. But it was a rough ride . I haven’t been back to Universal since. It’s time to go back and ride the new one:)
@@remyd8767 I am a coaster enthusiast, I don't much like Hagrids, get dizzy on the reverse part going through the half helix. I like the Hulk Launch everything else is B&M basic. Velocicoaster is king, top 3 ok my book, I have been on many coasters, this one is one of the best if not the best.
@@SP-dw9gi I agree velocicoaster is king. And yes hulk is so overrated. It's a run of the mill B&M looper after the fantastic launch. I also dont like OTSRs. I really don't know why many people adore it so much.
@@remyd8767 can't speak for others but for me Hulk is the #1 ride at IOA because of the emotional attachment to the ride as it helped me overcome my fear of coasters and learn to enjoy them. Probably the same reason why some people like Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. I got on Velocicoaster and I felt it had too much airtime especially with that loincloth of a lap restraint. With rides you have to understand that not everyone's looking for the craziest most daredevil ride out there.
When they say “I hope you survive” I was terrified to go on the ride and that just made it worse I was like what the hell. thank you for making me more scared
This is my favorite ride ever. I do love velocicoaster but the launch and music on this is just..ahhhhhh. VC very very close second. I had to ride both over and over but came to the conclusion hulk is my baaaaaby
I rode it last week, it was our first coaster, early morning, not crowded, I recommend for short wait. The ride was kinda rought, my head banging left and right. We rode VelociCoaster twice, the ride is much smoother and more air time. The Hulk is the acceleration that get you, overall I recommend it, but definitely VelociCoaster is the new king at Island of Adventure.
Yes took my nephew a few years back. We stayed at Hard Rock hotel on the grounds. We bought express pass. When you stay at on the grounds hotels you can buy special packages in advance. They only sell so many UNLIMITED express passes meaning you can ride whatever you want, how many times you want at all the parks (except water park is different). So Hulk and all those rides we could do over and over again and even Hary Potter 2 hour wait we were on in under 10 minutes. Definitely worth the money. Looking forward to going again soon once new section of park is built.
This ride rages. It pulls you up in the air and shoves you back down and round and round you go until your heart is in your throat and then...you suddenly find yourself at the end. You may feel like you just got Hulk smashed in the face but you surprisingly find yourself back in line. Good times
I’ve always been too scared to ride the Hulk as a little kid but I’ve started riding roller coasters more and I love them so when I go back to Universal for grad bash I’m definitely riding the Hulk
Remember when Banner used to act like the lift hil l(gamma machine) wouldn’t work and then the launch would happen out of nowhere😩.. that used to be the best
Oh yess ,I live next to Universal Studio and from my house I could see almost all the rides it is Amazing,, also people should try the ride from Harry Potter the motorcycle ride ,I have no words to describe it is DEFINITELY THE BEST RIDE EVER UNBELIEVABLE .
I gotta ride this bad boy next time I go to universal it was near the end of grad bash and it was a 70 minute wait time really annoying that I didn’t get to ride it but I will ride it next time I go
@naqulis6651 I didn’t even mind the roll tbh on the velocicoaster! I want to ride the hulk I don’t know why I’m 50/50 right now. I heard the launch is craziest part but I rode rock n rollercoaster no problem. Heard you don’t get any stomach drop but after launch and roll it’s pretty smooth?
@naqulis6651 it’s not scary it’s more like the rock n rollercoaster just a launch then the inversion. I’m gonna try to ride it next time I go there. Velocicoaster is def my favorite ride with mummy and hagrids
best ride ever.. intimidating to look at on the outside but an amazing experience at Universal Fla. as the ride actually stops halfway up the hill then launches unlike this vid.
I have one thing to say and that is that you must go on this ride when i went at first i was scared but ended up going on it 8 times by the end of my trip
Been to universal studios 13 times from England 🇬🇧. 14th time this September and still not been on ride🥴 maybe I’ll be brave and do it this year 🥴🤦♀️🤣.
The lines for rides close when the park closes so it can vary, just look up the schedule. But did you are in line for a ride before it closes you can still ride.

I’m not a fan of rollercoasters but this is my absolute favorite because of the takeoff alone!
This ride rages. It pulls you up in the air and shoves you back down and round and round you go until your heart is in your throat and then...you suddenly find yourself at the end. You may feel like you just got Hulk smashed in the face but you surprisingly find yourself back in line. Good times
Last time I rode this was at night in the rain and it was just on another level!

There isn’t any “drops” except when you come out of that first zero-g roll after the launch. But you don’t really feel a dropping sensation.
