Ugh blinds!! I was cleaning mine yesterday and one cracked. That's it, I'm taking them out and replacing with roller shades or something. I can't take blinds anymore!! Great job cleaning, Jade!
The vinegar and water is amazing. I use it to clean windows too. A friend owns a home cleaning business and gave me that tip. Also, I keep a plastic tray, like for serving food, in my bathroom. When I go to clean, and clear off the vanity, everything goes on the tray and then I can carry the tray with everything on it at once.
I'm so glad I don't feel alone with how messy my place can get sometimes! My condo is older and really needs a remodel so even when I do clean the hell out of it, it never feels clean. I get discouraged. Wish I had some magical cleaning powers when I snap my fingers

For cleaning the shower try using a scrub mop. The old school looking ones. (Rectangular sponge and green scrub) spray down, mop, rinse. I recommend ever week or two. This will maintain your big scrub. I use this technique on the big tile showers I’ve cleaned for clients. A very satisfying video to watch. Nice bathroom.

Hack for scrubbing tile like that, you can get scrubby disks you can you with a power drill and scrub that ish in half the time. They usually come in different stiffnesses so you can choose what works best for your surface.

The place in my house where the couch is, in front of the fireplace and tv, where I have the couch padded up to take naps on, read, maybe do some small crafting projects is my favorite place to be. I so agree about the natural procucts!! We live similarly; we try to use less chemicals for every day cleaning, but we still use a few products for our deep clean, like the shower, that are a little more effective.
I know alot of us are embarrassed but I think it's just honest truth that nobody is super clean and tidy all the time! It's also very satisfying to see the before and after.

girl a tip for those small bathroom tiles, in my country we keep a broom just for scrubbing the tiles, and we leave them in the bathroom, so every week while you showering you throw some cleaning product on the floor and scrub it with the broom, so it never gets dirty

I have no idea why I didn't do this at my mom's house, but I've been doing it since I got my own place and I don't know why no one else has mentioned it before, but mop your shower walls and floor when you do your bathroom floor. I don't know how well the swiffer wet pads will work on it, as I don't use them, but a mop (get a bucket with a foot pedal wringer on it, easier on your back than a regular bucket), a gallon or two of hot water, and a cap (a single cap, it doesn't take much) of Pine Sol for once-weekly cleaning should keep the shower situation from getting too scary. I mop my shower whenever I mop my floors, and that's also how I clean the wall behind the trash can in my kitchen. :-) It also makes for interesting reactions whenever I'm sitting around with friends bitching about the messes that seem to grow out of nowhere when I make a comment about mopping my walls. XD
My bathroom floor looks like that too !! Since you don’t have a tub in the way like I do ( I mean in the shower area, my tub is on the tile floor not built in like yours if that makes sense) I would recommend you to get a floor steam cleaner!! So effective !! And no harsh chemicals! It usually comes with a hand attachment too so you can use it on walls
Hi Shirley here. It amazing how all the stuff we collect in these draws over the years, then when we do go through them and clean them out the drawers collect so much dust even with the drawers are kept closed.

I love these videos!! They always give me motivation to clean my house! I think the one space in my house that goes by the wayside on cleaning, is our laundry room. Its right when you walk in from the garage and is kind of a catch-all space. It definitely needs some attention soon! My proudest room is the formal dining room. We dont spend much time in there so it always stays neat and clean!

I got a electric scrubber off Amazon and it changed my life for cleaning tile! It's the Rubbermaid power scrubber complete kit it was like $28 and don't worry all of our bathrooms get there your totally fine don't be embarrassed ❤
Tip to help keep the shower clean between deep scrubs -- when you're in the shower, take a dry rag in there with you and wipe it down after you're done! It'll help keep the water and goo from settling in and becoming a huge problem and make the weekly/monthy/whenever-ly scrub a LOT quicker!

I clean everything else but that shower I leave to my husband. I also hate HATE cleaning my sofa. With all the cat hair which just clings to it. The sofa is what really makes me put off cleaning.

i know you said small tiles never again, but my husband and i recently tiled 1200x600mm tiles. great for the floor, but they will make you cry if you install them all the wall! but the big floor tiles were so damn worth it! so much cleaning time saved !

I love your cleaning vids!!! You should definitely check out a grout brush too. That plus the toilet cleaner equals game changer. The bristles are more firm and really scrub the grout much easier. Also Goo Gone cleans grout amazingly. My grout was white when I was done.

I had blinds. Took them down to clean...couldn't put them back up. So instead I have curtains.
I literally can't declutter my basement its so hard for me!!! But my family and I are working on it and made great progress today.

You can also leave the the cleaner in the grout while you tidy other stuff and when you come back to it, the dirt comes off much easier.

An amazing cleaning tip for the shower I learned is to buy a broom from the dollar store and use it specifically to clean the tiles! It acts like a huge scrubber but you don’t need to bend down. GAME CHANGER 🤩. I think the idea came from the channel This Crazy Life
I love these videos!! They always give me motivation to clean my house! I think the one space in my house that goes by the wayside on cleaning, is our laundry room. Its right when you walk in from the garage and is kind of a catch-all space. It definitely needs some attention soon! My proudest room is the formal dining room. We dont spend much time in there so it always stays neat and clean!

I got a electric scrubber off Amazon and it changed my life for cleaning tile! It's the Rubbermaid power scrubber complete kit it was like $28 and don't worry all of our bathrooms get there your totally fine don't be embarrassed ❤
Tip to help keep the shower clean between deep scrubs -- when you're in the shower, take a dry rag in there with you and wipe it down after you're done! It'll help keep the water and goo from settling in and becoming a huge problem and make the weekly/monthy/whenever-ly scrub a LOT quicker!

Love these cleaning videos. I really needed some cleaning motivation today! I am the same way with my shower. We have hard water which makes cleaning ten times harder if you ask me. I clean everything else but that shower I leave to my husband. I also hate HATE cleaning my sofa. With all the cat hair which just clings to it. The sofa is what really makes me put off cleaning.

But I LOVE cleaning my kitchen, we have an open floor plan apt and it’s right out there so I love it being clean! But thanks for the tip on the toilet cleaner for tiles I can never get the grout in my shower as clean as id like it!

Anytime I see someone else with a jacuzzi tub my heart goes out to them.😂 We recently completely replaced our jacuzzi tub because cleaning it was a nightmare and when they break no one will work on them. 🙄🙄🙄 your bathroom looks so wonderful and definitely gives me some cleaning inspo. ❤
i know you said small tiles never again, but my husband and i recently tiled 1200x600mm tiles. great for the floor, but they will make you cry if you install them all the wall! but the big floor tiles were so damn worth it! so much cleaning time saved !

I love your cleaning vids!!! You should definitely check out a grout brush too. That plus the toilet cleaner equals game changer. The bristles are more firm and really scrub the grout much easier. Also Goo Gone cleans grout amazingly. My grout was white when I was done.
