I vote for the P90. But it was not a fair shootout , cause neck mounted is a totally other sound than bridge mounted. So the single coil had no chance to win :-)
I never even tried P90s for years because I thought they looked cheap. But then about ten years ago I played my buddies LP with P90 and there is no going back now. I love them. The first set was GFS Dream 90s that are the same size as a HB. I put those in my LP and man oh man. Nice comparison. Thanks Mike.
GOOD STUFF , But the true comparison would be better if all the pickups were in the same position . that single coil (or any pickup ) being up by the neck ads alot of warmth to the tone , Thus not really a fair or accurate comparison. but they do all sound great . ;-)

I got completely lucky. I found a CBG on Facebook marketplace last year for $60. They said it was won in a fundraiser silent auction and was barely played because they didn't know how. It was a Snowden #1145.
