I think alot of people are getting upset with this cursed team and eggs situation. Listen to Cellbit and Charlie. Actual writers and game masters. This event is for CONTENT CREATION. At the end of the day making content daily for 14 weeks is what matters. The "Eggs are missing and we need to get them back" is just a plot device to explain why the purgatory event is going to take place. It could have been any other reason. Its just a backstory. The "there is a cursed team" is so that fans can theorize and cheer for one side over the other. Each team has a reason to belive they are cursed in the roleplay. They will hold that view point and try to win. Even if the CCs believe Tubbo 100% it would not make any sense for them to just hand Tubbo the win. As characters they also believe they are cursed and are roleplaying that way. Imagine as a fan watching each team compete for 2 weeks and then Friday at 1pst Phil just logs on hands Tubbo the flags and says "GG you guys win." What happens for the rest of the day during the event? The audience just sits and waits for the time to run out? That is BORING. It doesn't make sense from a narrative POV. No creator is going to agree to that. Look at last week. Blue did nothing to compete in the egg defense and after their egg died in 5 mins the admins split the team members between Green and Red so that Blue CCs who turned up for the event could have content for the next 2 hours. "Oh but some of the eggs will die". Highly doubtful unless the admins themselves want to leave. The QSMP team has never final killed an egg. Never, ever. All final deaths of eggs have been their or their parents fault. Quackity would not set up himself to be harassed by his own server mates fans over from RP eggs like that. Maybe Pomme loses a life as a sacrifice but that's about it. Either all the eggs die or none die. There is no some live. It makes more sense to have whoever wins in the end to be the cursed team just because. The fate of the eggs isnt going to be left up to if a team has enough players logging in that day or not. Yes, however, I think that if they had heard Tubbo's theory out in the end (rather than talk over him so he never really got to explain it fully to everyone) it would give them more options for what to do in the story and with their content. I think that Tubbo's right and the admin team hasn't been careless with hints and lore in the past, everything has been done for a reason, and they showed the wheel spin in the video for a reason. They're putting hints towards the cursed team for a reason and it's for players to figure out. Will it matter in the end? Probably not, as I also think something will happen with the eggs regardless of who is the cursed team. But regardless of that, it feels unfair for Red to shut down the cursed team discussion just because it means they won't win, since it makes no sense to the character roleplay. Like what if their real objective is not to win Purgatory but to try to puzzle out the clues to the cursed team and work together? Or at least have it as an option seriously discussed and not dismissed? It's annoying to see people who are normally really involved in mysteries and lore on qsmp, like Cellbit and Charlie, discard someone else's idea because they want to win, and just focus on the meta reasons of, they won't get rid of the eggs because the community would harass them to hell over it. Especially when Red has the bigger streamers whose communities have been a consistent problem with toxicity and hate through this whole event from day 1 when they complained about being the rp team with fewer players. They want to complain that all the roleplay people got put on Red, and say they just want to rp and not win, get their fans up in arms at anyone actually trying as being "cringe tryhards"... but then *dont* want to roleplay along with the lore when it's another team trying to explain their theories?? Right from the first appearance of that giant eye, it was shown that the Purgatory event would be like ENTERTAINMENT content and that it wasn't for people to take it IRL or make trouble. But no matter how much the CCs talk or even us, there are people who don't learn at all.

Calling it out now, there's no cursed team or it will be decided on the end.maybe the eye choses to kill the eggs either way and then we'll have the Cucorucho redemption arc when he comes to the purgatory with a backup and we finally get a final boss fight against the eye with the help of the federation.

One of the explanations is that simply theres no cursed team yet, he's going to decide on the last day. He is a fucking evil eye that runs the purgatory, there's no way he is even slightly honored to keep promises or we can even trust his words.

personally, i do believe that red is the cursed team, *_BUT!_* i'm starting to think (mainly because of cellbit & charlie's theory) all the clues are purposefully misleading so that when the event ends and we know the verdict of who won the entire "game," it makes some sort of sense lore-wise when we find out who the cursed team truly is. i don't think the admins _actually_ set who each team were ahead of time - just gave enough information for it to feel ambiguous and for us viewers to keep spinning theories. maybe whoever wins is the cursed team and whoever loses isn't, or maybe vise-versa..? in that regard, the outcome will probably feel more satisfying/more heartbreaking depending on the ending for all parties - like cellbit PARTICULARLY has been saying since the very beginning. idk if my ramblings made any sense in writing, but it did in my head so yeah lol

People are saying bolas has a victim complex when they are winning, but that is because they are not expect to win because they are roleplayers and builders playing against tryharders and sweats, it took literally the double of players of red team to have an advantage of .2% to win, if the stars didn't align themselves it was a easy win for blue, so many little details that made the win possible for red and their determination to not give up when it looked impossible, if the event would be played as the admins expected with people from all the teams logging in, red was the obvious team to lose, and that is why bolas fans get so hyped up when bolas get a win when it's a 9v4, because they were already expecting to lose, they were expecting the sweats and tryharders to log in and grind.
Funny how it is the same scenario as that time red lost the win to green, tubbo probably was hidding to not get killed like they were and they get the lead by doing tasks last minute
Red team is cursed because the Admins removed Blues Egg Statue before it could be destroyed and also conveniently destroyed Red teams xp farm but not blue teams. The Admins seem to "Convienetly" not be able to help fix problems or repair them when red team is the victim despite having admins follow them around as the little camera guys!
Losing the xp farm this day was really a game breaker because the players were really dependent on it to get contracts, at least bolas still won without it

I think Phil talk about this, that the qsmp storytelling is not scripted, unlike dsmp where the script tell them to do, while qsmp only announce like "their is a social experiment in the server" then showing a guy on a egg suit.

I wish, just for tension reasons, that Red had lost so that they could go into the finale with a tie, which would make everything more exciting! Blue knew they HAD to win this day because they would get flattened in pvp and numbers in the flag event. Now it seems like Purgatory is a foregone conclusion, because there's no way Blue wins the event, and they are already behind by one. Which is more boring as a viewer tbh. I think they were hoping to win today and then it wouldn't matter if they lost the event because it would be a tie and they'd have a chance to come back, but now it's like, eh. Also his point actually can also be argued for red team being cursed- if there was always ment to be a cursed team to have the original red and green fight- then the blue team being added wouldn't mean they are the cursed team- and- the "counter point" about not all of the specialised ticket people being in red means there isn't as much significance- is something to also be argued to say red is the cursed team- as elquackity wasn't ment to come instead quackity was- so putting him on the cursed team would just make it obvious that they are the cursed team as they'd all suspect him of self sabotage- so putting him in the non cursed team when quackity could have ment to be on the cursed team was a way to throw them off on who was actually cursed. If the cursed team loses, all of the eggs die, so if the other team wins, they can actually pick some of the eggs to get back, so the eggs that will come back aren’t confirmed until the winner of the team picks them. It isn’t actually fully implied on what happens if the cursed team wins but that is basically the best case scenario because it will most likely will have less casualties, but I think they will get all their eggs back if the cursed team wins.
I'm like 100% a blue team enjoyer and spent like 20 minutes in Charlie's stream for once because Tubbo raided him and I just couldn't handle the vibes of the team all of the miscommunication hurt too much and I just left for BBH

personally, i do believe that red is the cursed team, *_BUT!_* i'm starting to think (mainly because of cellbit & charlie's theory) all the clues are purposefully misleading so that when the event ends and we know the verdict of who won the entire "game," it makes some sort of sense lore-wise when we find out who the cursed team truly is. i don't think the admins _actually_ set who each team were ahead of time - just gave enough information for it to feel ambiguous and for us viewers to keep spinning theories. maybe whoever wins is the cursed team and whoever loses isn't, or maybe vise-versa..? in that regard, the outcome will probably feel more satisfying/more heartbreaking depending on the ending for all parties - like cellbit PARTICULARLY has been saying since the very beginning. idk if my ramblings made any sense in writing, but it did in my head so yeah lol

People are saying bolas has a victim complex when they are winning, but that is because they are not expect to win because they are roleplayers and builders playing against tryharders and sweats, it took literally the double of players of red team to have an advantage of .2% to win, if the stars didn't align themselves it was a easy win for blue, so many little details that made the win possible for red and their determination to not give up when it looked impossible, if the event would be played as the admins expected with people from all the teams logging in, red was the obvious team to lose, and that is why bolas fans get so hyped up when bolas get a win when it's a 9v4, because they were already expecting to lose, they were expecting the sweats and tryharders to log in and grind.

Red team is cursed because the Admins removed Blues Egg Statue before it could be destroyed and also conveniently destroyed Red teams xp farm but not blue teams. The Admins seem to "Convienetly" not be able to help fix problems or repair them when red team is the victim despite having admins follow them around as the little camera guys!

Losing the xp farm this day was really a game breaker because the players were really dependent on it to get contracts, at least bolas still won without it

I will tell the script. No matter how much red tryhard to win tomorrow, blue will tie because purgatory needs a final event in day 18 for decides the winner. But, if red wins against the script early tomorrow, it means something really bad will happens with the eggs probably. The purgatory manager will not have fun when the things are decided early. The pain is coming for the eggs. My bet blue is really the cursed team, but maybe red can be idk

I think Phil talk about this, that the qsmp storytelling is not scripted, unlike dsmp where the script tell them to do, while qsmp only announce like "their is a social experiment in the server" then showing a guy on a egg suit.

I wish, just for tension reasons, that Red had lost so that they could go into the finale with a tie, which would make everything more exciting! Blue knew they HAD to win this day because they would get flattened in pvp and numbers in the flag event. Now it seems like Purgatory is a foregone conclusion, because there's no way Blue wins the event, and they are already behind by one. Which is more boring as a viewer tbh. I think they were hoping to win today and then it wouldn't matter if they lost the event because it would be a tie and they'd have a chance to come back, but now it's like, eh.
The most ironic part to me is that Blue was "cursed" by so many IRL things that cost them today 😂 Like Forever's PC dying because of a heatwave in Brazil, Quackity logging on and dying AFK 3 times, Missa travelling, Tina having to do the hot tub stream instead, so many random things it's as if Blue is cursed IRL even if they aren't cursed in-game 😂
I like Tubbo's theory, but if Chayanne told Phil to save Tallulah no matter what, that might go to Red being cursed and Phil being forced to pick between them if they win, whereas if the other team was cursed it wouldn't matter because all the eggs die anyway. But then Dapper's message makes no sense. Maybe each egg wrongly believes their parents are on the cursed team? Or is Chayanne saying to protect Tallulah even if it means letting the Red team lose? Hmmmm

The problem is that we don't know exactly WHAT is the cursed team, did they even have any changes in the gameplay? I guess not. It can be just a "title" and people are going crazy over it trying to figure it out.

Also his point actually can also be argued for red team being cursed- if there was always ment to be a cursed team to have the original red and green fight- then the blue team being added wouldn't mean they are the cursed team- and- the "counter point" about not all of the specialised ticket people being in red means there isn't as much significance- is something to also be argued to say red is the cursed team- as elquackity wasn't ment to come instead quackity was- so putting him on the cursed team would just make it obvious that they are the cursed team as they'd all suspect him of self sabotage- so putting him in the non cursed team when quackity could have ment to be on the cursed team was a way to throw them off on who was actually cursed. Plus- red team has most of the guaranteed rare online players- red team gets harassed by admins a lot- and before cellbjt could kill the blue team's egg- the admins got rid of it- so they didn't get points for that- they're placement on the map was furthest away from oak trees- and so most of the initial apple tasks they couldn't do- tubbo is mostly trying to justify for his team cause he if he wins- can save every egg- but he never once realised red can do the same- bagehra is both pomme's and dapper's mother- foolish and vegetta is leo- then Phil and Wilbur are tallulah and chayanne and Richarlyson is Cellbit- with them being to save an extra egg is saving Ramon- then all eggs are safe- turbo's theory can also apply to red team- but- if he is right then it means that there was not supposed to be a cursed team- but if that's the case- what would stop everyone from teaming up and fighting the eye person-?
@@dilandilek2477 Cellbit wasn’t the one who almost killed the Blue egg statue, it was Green team that almost killed it I believe. And I also think that the cursed team is supposed to be related outside of this purgatory game, and not the purgatory game itself, because the observer (one eye guy) has said that there’s no way you can figure the cursed team out inside the purgatory game that they’re doing right now.
@@dilandilek2477 And lastly, I think you’re a bit confused on the system of the cursed team. If the cursed team loses, all of the eggs die, so if the other team wins, they can actually pick some of the eggs to get back, so the eggs that will come back aren’t confirmed until the winner of the team picks them. It isn’t actually fully implied on what happens if the cursed team wins but that is basically the best case scenario because it will most likely will have less casualties, but I think they will get all their eggs back if the cursed team wins.
