FD cannot beat inflation. But if you have 10 crores and the 7 percent returns 70 lakhs and if you spend only 20 lakhs per year and save the rest then FD is the best
@InvestmentInsightsTamil Vijay ji, I could not understand how compounding works in stocks.. I could understand in FD or in MF where dividend are reinvested, In stocks, it has a value X when I buy it and it goes to value Y at some point in time where I may sell it... It seems a percentage of increasing in value or like a simple interest to me. Can you pls shed light on compounding in stock investments?
Hi, I have seen video on good debt vs bad debt. Does holding debt ( 6%) for long term while investing gives ( 12%). Don't know categorize as good or bad..

Hello sir. As suggested by Buffet/Munger, Does the portfolio needs to be concentrated within 10 to 15 stocks for high return? I'm sure this will work for HNI individualls, but is this same for retail investors? How can we park money if all 15 stocks in our portfolio are overvalued??
It works for any investors, only if you are good at picking stocks. Do know that only 4% of the individual stocks will be successful among all. If you are good enough to identify that 4, then a concentrated portfolio is good. If not, better to stick to index funds.
@@InvestmentInsightsTamil Thanks for your response sir. Yeah I agree with your point, even though the 4% of right stocks identified, it will be fairly valued for some duration of time and if that stock is good then it's going to be overvalued. Always from FD. After withdrawing, rebalance the remaining portfolio to have the next 5 years expense in FD.

Visa status does not matter. Check the cash flow of the rental. If it is net positive, then sure, you can buy.

Better to get it here in USA. You do not need life insurance after your retirement.
