Spend the weekend with me- A very chill Saturday & Sunday where I will give you an update on the living room decor + the most awaited coffee machine is here! I don't have to beat the coffee anymore yay! Hope you enjoy the vlog.

Pooja is the reason I initiated the process to get to Canada even though my brother is there and asked me to for years but would love to have a beer and Burger with Saranch such a humble human. You guys rock love the positivity during these times.
The drainage holes are necessary for almost every plant so the water doesn't store in the soil/pot, because that can cause the plant to die that's why there needs to be a drainage hole! U can always buy plant trays or plates from either home Depot Canadian Tire Walmart and go to the garden center they'll have it, it'll hopefully help!
Drainage holes helps to get rid of the extra water.... otherwise the roots starts to rot
Plant trays don't look very aesthetic. What I did was put the existing pot in a slightly bigger and prettier pot. Helps to keep the excess water and looks as a nice design piece.

For the frames, you can get the command strip hooks and put then hook the painting on it. That way, you don't damage the wall and there are no stains on the wall when you want to remove the hook

The only plant tip you need:
Both the plants need to be watered once in a week or two! DON'T WATER THEM DAILY!
Get a saucer to hold the drained water, and probably in the next 5-6 months, you'll have to buy an inch larger pot and repot your existing plants, so that they can grow more

Hi Pooja. The holes at the bottom of the pot is so that the extra water comes out. Some plants can’t take extra water. Extra water may rot the plant. U can get pot plates in the stores. U can put it under the pot. One good thing about the plate is the extra water will help in keeping the soil moist. I hope this info helps.
Yay, watched this vlog first thing in morning!
Both the snake plant and ZZ plant are very easy to maintain because they are drought tolerant. You just have to water ZZ once every two weeks. For the snake plant, you can water it once the soil is very dry (or has a sandy texture when you touch it), which is usually once or twice a month, especially when the weather gets super cold, you don’t wanna over water them. Hope u find nice pots to repot them. ☺️

Not sure if you found a way to hang the frames, but command also has picture hangers and hooks that can be stuck onto the condo wall. That way you don't have to drill holes.
Hey pooja ! Absolutely ok to have holes in your planters since they prevent water logging which actually rots the leaves . So it’s good that you have it ! Your plants might hv been a lil expensive with 150 Cad for two .. but look gorgeous and bring a positive vibe to the home . Lovely video !

Indoor plants have excess water outlets at the bottom of the pot. You need to put a plastic plate at the bottom to collect the excess water. A measuring cup of any sort can be used, so the spillage every day is minimised

Hey pooja... Just wanted to tell u that the holes at the bottom of any planters are necessary and it is necessary that the water comes out from from the bottom bcz if water will not come out then the roots will start to rot due to excessive water and plants will die due to watter logging... So, be relaxed...

You could use pushpins 📌 for hanging the frames on the wall. They are renter friendly and work best without having to go through the hassle of putting a nail in the wall (which could be damaging)

The hole in the plant pot is drainage so the water wont settled and rooting the roots you can buy some plant sources for them or plant pot that dont have hole and rest them in it that way they won't wet up your floor 👍 wow that burger and bagel looks delicious 😋 enjoy your coffee machine and thanks for sharing with us stay as sweet as you are 🤗💞🤗

The best thing to do is change your pots buy the new ones and some garden soil or buy bamboo woven baskets to hide the pots if you don’t wanna spend much on pots or You gotta put some ceramic plates underneath pots to avoid water leaking out!
Good choice of indoor plants. You can perhaps buy decorative planters for the plants. Otherwise water will spill onto your floor. Those holes are essential for the plants. Did you bargain for the two plants? $150 sounds little bit expensive. But maybe worth it. They may not need water everyday.

you can use clear thumb pins if the frames are not so heavy. As i live in brampton so I know the pins will go easily in the walls. All the best🤗

you'll need to add plates bellow the plants ,they are easily available. Both are indoor plants. Ive a snake plant; requires watering once a week..it grows tall and looks really good. Its also one of the best air purifying plants :D super low maintenance

One word - Chique! Besides, Command also has hanging hooks, you could try those, just go with the best judgement per your frames' size and weight. Also, those drainage holes are always there in most planters so that extra water doesn't accumulate and rot the roots. You should get planter trays, considering you've got hardwood floor. Hope this helps! :)
Holes are the drainage for extra water to go out so that the plant is not flooded Nd u need to put a plate under it to catch any extra water else it will spoil ur floor. Pot plates are Available everwhr Walmart Nd ikea Nd winners Amazon
Hi pooja....just subscribed!! I got snake plant and zz plant both at 40 cad!! Well these two plants require minimal care!!! you have to water them after every 15 days and that too just top soil should be moist no need to drain water coz too much water for these plants is actually harmful.

Hi again. Ur plants need to be repotted and resoiled there doesn't seem much space in the port now. I had indoor plants in Toronto my pots did not have holes for water drainage. U will have to ask the seller how much water it is needed and do get bigger pots so u will not have to change it often. Baby shoots from the plant can be planted in smaller pots. Yorkville is the same as Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills its nick name is plastic showoff Street since in the summer the top end cars drive by on Cumberland St. . Where u were sitting on the rock right opposite there is a Restaurant called Hemingways do try it out. Use to be my go to place after work. Its one of the oldest restaurant there. Just before you said it I was thinking u should go to the ROM. .

Watching you is so refreshing and inspiring as well. Put plastic plant pot plates under the pot that will collect the water. Remember like the ones our mothers would put under the pots in the stairs at home 😁

Seeing the Nespresso machine just made my morning!
Keep a dish or tray below your pots and make sure it get proper sunlight ....also turn soil after 15-20 days,..... Best tips use waste water s/a ricewater, vegetable washing water... BTW your videos r cool & u both look cute 😘😘
Snake plant doesn't need much water once a month will work. Just spray some water and that's it.
Also you got them very very expensive.
Put a tray under both pots. So the extra water stays in there. And plant can suck when needed.

You should have plates which comes along with the pot that is to keep your plant healthy,and you should not water them too much, just touch the soil if it's damp do not put water, only when it's completely dry, so go and get the pot plates first and then put water,but only till the water doesn't over flow from your plates and makes your floor dirty,, you can get plants food also like tablets which you have to put one or two in the soil that will keep the plant healthy and it will also grow
This is for if there is any excess water it will come out..which is good foe plants
Also you can put a plate under it..there are many fancy plates avail in the market
Hi, this is a bit off the track. But wanted to know about work life balance in Canada. Primary reason for moving to Canada for me with family is to seek work life balance, which is really hard to achieve in India considering it's work culture.

Hi pooja, i love the way you shoot and edit your video. Really amazing content.
You need to only water them when you see the soil dry or the leaves turning yellow. You don't need to water them daily, once or twice a week is fine. Also, you can get fancy pots for them and just insert them directly no need to repot or take out the soil. It will enhance your living room decor
Nespresso machines are really good...u will love it. For the plants u need to buy a plant drip tray which u have to keep under the pot so that water doesn’t leak out on the floor and periodically clean the tray. Next time when u r buying a plant go to a nursery it’s much cheaper than whatever u have paid. For custom framing u can checkout Michaels store...its got wide variety n very reasonable 😀😀

Hi guys....You have got one of the most beautiful plants. Both these plants need less watering... Water them only when the soil is dry. Once in 15 days or a month you can keep them in corner where you have morning or evening sunlight, 2or 3 hrs will do. Do not expose them to direct sunlight like in ur. But please keep in mind guys.. over watering n direct sunlight can kill these beauties. Happy Gardening ❤️😊

You need to buy a large flower pot so you put the plant in it. Don't water it until get a flower pot. You can used a large plastic bowl temporary

May be ul get from ikea or dollarama so that the water doesn’t come out when u water the plants
Buy a spray bottle to gently spray the water .
Also u can check out some beautiful pots so that u can keep the plant as it is in the new pots
Heyy!! The pots need to be put in another ceramic or plastic pots with bottom plates. Check out Home depot, home sense or marshals!

These plants are very easy to keep. Since I also keep so many indore plants and same these two as well.
You need to buy new pot for outer pot since water will come out from these pot.
Since as per the plant requirement it will be sucked by plant roots and remaining water will come out.. also need to keep in balcony once in a week for sunlight..
Or you can buy a plastic plate also for water deposition
Hey! You can just get plates to keep below the pots so the overflow of water is collected in the plate and doesn't spoil your floor. Also, these plants are indoor plants and you need not water them everyday. Just water them when you see that the top soil is dry. And your plants will be all happy and good!! :) Take care!!
Hi Pooja, you should get a bigger pot and place the black pot in it. The space on the black pot is for the water to drain so that it doesn’t accumulate and kill the plant. Check out Dollarama you will find everything there❤️ love from Toronto

You need to put plates under the pots, so the excess water will collect in it
Add a small round tray under the pot.. Available at dollarama. And then place the pot in a wicker basket to give a boho feel. It'll look beautiful..

Great vlog as always! The plant pot rests on a plate. The ones I get from Walmart’s garden centre and even Dollarama sometimes, are quite inexpensive.

As much as I hate Keurig and Nespresso for the amount of wastage (I'm the eco-friendly crazy person), I think you guys will enjoy it since you work from home.
